I have eaten at this restaurant for years and their sandwiches and burgers are always delicious. The price isn’t too bad for dinner either. The only downside to this place is that their fries aren’t as good as they used to be. I would suggest ordering chips with your burger or sandwich instead of fries.

I will first start by saying that this place is dog friendly, which is amazing to me because I don’t go anywhere without my pups. So after a long day at the beach we stop by here on the way home. They also have a dog menu. (Posted picture). Ok so the food is really good. I’ve eaten here a couple times and never been disappointed. I only write reviews on places I’ve been to a couple times because I can’t base judgement on a single experience. So with that being said I’ve had the outlaw (pastrami/​burger on a French roll), bbq tri tip sandwich which I suggest you get on the garlic roll and tri tip salad. My girl friend has enjoyed the fish tacos (amazing chipotle sauce) and chicken tenders. We have never been disappointed here and we will continue to come. Also the staff is so friendly and service is phenomenal. Shout out to the waiter «Nolan» we have sat in his section multiple times and he’s also super helpful and quick to recommend items. He also has suggestions and is great with dogs. Thanks buddy for being so kick a**. We will come back here just for his service.

Well, it’s been over a year since I was here last and I do not know what happened in that time, or if it’s always been like this. I was here yesterday. I ordered taquitos with shredded beef, cool I thought.
No, they were previously frozen like something you’d find from the grocery store. If that’s what I wanted I could’ve gone to the grocery store and bought myself a box. Save your $ 5 – 10 and buy yourself a big package from the grocery store, you’re sure to get your monies worth if frozen taquitos is what you’re into.

Now… it wasn’t a chills chain… but we couldn’t tell the difference.
My burger boy husband thought the party melt burger was pretty good. It’s quality far exceeds any fast food chain. but it fell far below the quality expected from a texas barbecue grilled burger. He thought the fries were above par… medium thickness with nice crispy exterior but not super hot.
I had a unremarkable chicken salad.
The salsa tasted like it was freshly opened from a supermarket jar. Blech.
The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. But they were not overly concerned with our happiness, despite not being crowded.
Decent restaurant… but it does not offer anything spectacular.

Oh my. It’s been a while since my wife and I have eaten here. We were so happy to come back. The food was better than ever and the servers were very friendly. I had the cowboy special and my wife had the prime rib both were made exactly to order. Seasoned to perfection. I can’t express enough how impressed we were. But I can say definitely go here, you will not be disappointed. Very attentive staff and simple but nice atmosphere.

First time coming to this restaurant and I have to say it felt like a diner. The Texas sampler was pathetic, I mean come on look at the picture that I posted and you judge for yourself. The cowboy special burger was actually good and it came with sautéed mushrooms, grilled green chilies and a heaping spoonful of homemade chili. I forgot to mention that the burger also came with two ½ pound patties. The onion rings that I ordered instead of the fries were also very good and fresh.

Service wasn’t that great. Slow and not super friendly. Ordered kids corn dog, fine. Taquitos were ok. Bbq tri tip sandwich was smothered in bbq sauce that wasn’t super flavorful. Nothing was terrible but nothing was great either.

I’m gave this place a two star because the food was just okay. My husband had the burger and he said it taste like s frozen burger. I have the Tri tip it was good. The service was awesome

We live close by and have been here a few times. The food is made pretty quickly for both dine-​in and take out (10 minutes, usually).
The food itself is rather average. Sandwiches are nothing to write home about as they are rather dry as are the fries.

Our family had a great experience here. Great tasting food. Even better service. Waiter was attentive to our toddllers.
Kid friendly and great choices for kid meals. Great ice cream treat also.
Would be great if kids drinks were included as a simplified complete package.

Slow service on a Sunday with very few customers. Food was ok but nothing to rave about. Might give there Monday night half price happy hour a try sometime. They played good music though.

We just split a Houston burger and fries and it was DELUXE! Didn’t want to cook tonight. One burger was enough for two. Be sure to ask for guacamole with mushrooms. You have to try it.

FOOD is good BEER is cold, BUT service is terrible on Monday Nights, Beer is ½ off so when it comes time to order another pitcher the Waitress was pretty pissy about serving us another one. This is at 7:40 she tells us they are closing in 30 mins. Regardless wether we are done or not. Really like the place, but not the service, or actually 2 certain waitresses.

This is a real nice place to eat. Great food and real nice country style atmosphere. The Monday night all you can eat tacos for 8.99 blew me away. These are full size tacos and are real good. I don’t know how long the 8.99 speacial will be offered so you better go soon so you dont miss it. Clean, hot food and friendly service what a recipe for success. Did I forget to mention the half price Beer and Wine on Monday nights as well. Beer and tacos what a great meal.

Stopped in to grab a bite to eat on the run…
Placed an order over the phone. They had carnitas tacos on special so I thought I would try them. WOW I was amazed at the size of the 2 huge tacos and I have never seen so much meat in a taco before. The meat was so tender, juicy, and flavorful. The tacos were so big and full of meat I couldn’t eat them all. They came with beans and rice. They were okay. This will definitely be on the list of things to order next time.

I came here with a coworker for lunch. We were greeted and seated quickly. We were given a bowl of butter flavored popcorn, which I thought was a different twist than usual. The popcorn wasn’t too stale, but it just seemed like a cheap alternative to rolls or bread and butter. I ordered the Texas Tri-​Tip sandwich, which was served on garlic bread, with grilled onions.
The food came out timely, and was nice and hot. The sandwich wasn’t texas sized, by any means. The beef was sparingly placed and so were the onions. As I bit into the sandwich I was surprised to find how much bread I was eating, and how little meat was there. The meat that was on the sandwich was a bit dry, so I used a generous portion of the tasty BBQ sauce. The fries were cooked well and had the right amount of crunch. I looked around at other people’s food as it came out. I noticed the burgers were large and some of the dishes were a good sized portion. Had my sandwich been a little more meaty, I might have left with a full tummy.
The décor of the restaurant is very kid friendly. A miniature model train continually goes around a track, which circles overhead. It’s not a quiet train, so after a while it kind of annoyed me.

Love this place! Burgers and Fries are juicy and delicious. Fast and friendly staff. Came here a few times and everything was great. Never had a bad meal. Never disappointed when I come to ear here. Great Place to Stop and get a Burger if your in the area.

Love love love!!! My fiancé and I are in love with everything on the menu!!! Prices and portions are great!!! Also love the popcorn they serve while your waiting!
Hint: if you’ve ever been pregnant and absolutely love hospital ice (the crunch/​melting texture) they have it here!!! A plus for me!

Hater been here in 5 years and probably won’t be back. Sure they were busy with large parties of pensioners but all our food was flavorless and dry. Wife had a burger and I had a tri tip sandwich and some wings but honestly they don’t season the meat at all. It was either waiting on the heater for a while or overcookes but. Just dry and flavorless.
Probably wont be back

We love our Texas Cattle Co. It’s one of those places that we looked past for so long but once we got ourselves in here we’ve become Instant fans.
The décor is comforting & western themed clearly haha. Always clean & plenty of booths which we appreciate. The staff is always great! Everyone is super attentive, friendly, and makes you feel appreciated as a customer which most places seem to lack.
Highlights:
Ice cold large Texas beer mugs! Wish they had a slightly larger selection of beers but I’m a-​okay with their corona & blue moon.
The food never disappoints. We Haven’t found one thing that we haven’t liked. Great side salads & their clam chowder is surprisingly good. We also have enjoyed their sandwiches in the past.
Our real favorite however are the steaks!!! Mm makes me hungry just typing this. Great steaks, Cooked to order with a large backed potato hits the spot & reasonably priced!!!
If you want a place with great food, amazing staff, & a comfortable environment then this is as good as it gets.
