Just experienced their new Sunday Brunch. It does not get any better than this! Local flair, fun atmosphere, and delicious food. Even my 9 y.o. daughter ate her fair share! Omellette bar. Prime Rib Roast. Decadent desserts. Can’t wait to go back again.

Brunch review! Twenty88 serves Sunday Brunch starting @10 am on Sundays. Dishes include prime rib(leaner than most, perfect seasoning), omelet station, eggs Benedict(yolk is still runny, yes!), bacon, sausage, potatoes, chilaquiles, yogurt parfaits, salad, shrimp ceviche, and desserts… today they has cheesecake and two types of crème brûlée. The variety isn’t huge but each dish was really quite good, so definitely a quality over quantity win as far as AYCE buffet brunch goes. Speaking of quantity you will certainly get your $ 27 worth in bottomless champagne cocktails including a pre-mixed hibiscus with cranberry, hibiscus, fresh strawberries and rosemary, classic mimosa, straight champagne and wait for it. bottomless margaritas.

Came here on a Saturday night, I ordered their lettuce wraps and OMG they were AMAZING! I also was feeling frisky and tried their Manhatten Cocktail and it was very good, I ended up ordering 2 and was good for the night. For dinner I ordered their panko crusted salmon which came with some spinach and vegetables and it was delicious! Overall the food and drinks here are great quality but I wish they would give more food for the price you pay, at least fill plate.

2088 is always one of my go-to places in town. I’ve been in Camarillo my whole life and have seen a lot of restaurants come and go. I could tell from the first time I went to 2088 it was a winner. Vince and Annette do a great job of making you feel at home and best of all the food is outstanding. I’m a local Real Estate Broker and 2088 is one of only a handful of restaurants I endorse in town to my clients. Make sure to stop in when you are in Camarillo.

Wow!!! Amazing! The service was awesome. Everyone checks on us and it seemed like they are crossed trained. It felt like we had 3 people servers. Great service! Best dinner I have had in Ventura county. The pear lavender Martini is so good. My husband got the lobster scallops risotto and I got the filet with mushroom and a blue cheese… so good! It was pricey but well worth it. Highly recommended. We will be back.

All I can say is… Thank God we ended up at Twenty 88! My best girl friend & I decided to go out for happy hour. We ended up at a local restaurant in Camarillo… We sat down & was NEVER greeted or even asked if we like a drink!(And the restaurant was not that busy!) After 10 minutes, we decided to get up & walk out! We walked across the street to Twenty 88! They were FABULOUS& incredibly accommodating the second we walked in! Exceptional service, personable, friend staff and delicious food! I would recommend Twenty 88 to anyone I know. Paige the bartender was so sweet and went out of her way for us! Love it there and will be definitely back!!!

This is a true gem of Camarillo. The lunch options are great as their selections will keep your hunger satisfied. The starter Ahi Tuna looks and taste delicious. The main course of either the citrus crusted salmon with veggies or their grilled cheese with their morrocan carrot soup is delicious. Great flavor profiles that will have you wanting more and more. Service is great as Taren made sure our needs were met. Parking is on Ventura Blvd or any adjacent street.

Came here for the Saturday Happy hour and ordered everything in the happy hour menu. Not a single loser. The mac was insane. Also had the steak bites and chicken skewers. The drinks are all very unique and tasty. The best drink we all had was the apricot jalapeño margarita, hands down. As for the service.. Exceptional… we had no less than 4 people working on our table. I would totally come back here.

Not sure what is going on here. The place is starting to fall apart. There are chairs out that have major parts of the upholstery ripped off(see photo), and the prices still seem quite steep for what you get($ 19 for a burger). Still a nice late night spot but it isn’t the gem is was only a few months ago.

What’s going on with this place? Service has gone downhill. My friends and I came in for lunch after a hike and it basically made me not ever want to come back. Here’s a run down of what happened– Got there, sat outside, asked for water to start off then moved inside after about 5 minutes because it started sprinkling. My friend ordered a bloody mary which he got about 5 mins after we sat inside. That’s a good 10 mins after he ordered it. Our waters were still nowhere in sight. We finally got it after our waitress realized she forgot about them. I was a little irritated at this point, but didn’t want to be that person who complains. We were basically forgotten after we placed our orders. I was comforted by the blood orange bellini that I always have when I’m there. When our food came, they asked if we needed any sauces. I asked for ranch. It never came. I was going to ask again, but my friend told me to let it go. I agreed because I probably would’ve said some smartass remark had I spoken up. On the upside, my burger was cooked to perfection. It’s always reassuring when the meat is cooked just the way you ask for it. That was the only thing they got right. There were 3 people working + 1 bartender and it wasn’t busy so I don’t get why they didn’t have their shit together. I noticed the girls did a lot of chit chatting in the entrance of the kitchen. The only people that could see them were the people who sat by the window by the entrance. That’s where we were seated. I noticed them posted at that spot for long periods of time. S/O to the only guy working though. He was the only one who looked busy all the time refilling drinks, clearing and cleaning tables and being a busy body. I probably won’t be back here for a while which sucks because I try to visit at least once a month.
