Went to the west end of Cambria to get the kid’s some ice cream after a picnic @ Moonstone Beach. Walking around taking in the sights, and behold, a tap room! I had a pint of their Amber Ale, Pale Ale and finished with an IPA. My girl stuck to the Saison. Exceptionally brewed beer! Kid and dog friendly as well which is one more reason to come here when you are in Cambria. Can’t wait to go back!

Wine, wine, everywhere… but beer? This I was not expecting.
After a quickie trip to the Central Coast for wine and other delicious things, I came upon a large brewery sign off a side road.
Brewery? I’m game!
Being that it was a Tuesday I was half expecting them to not be open. Much to my surprise and delight, they were indeed open! I was immediately greeted at the counter by a man who explained the flights and gave a little background on their business.
I was then treated to a flight of beers that far exceeded my expectations for quantity and quality. Everything from IPA’s, to Saison’s, barrell aged stouts and more. Every beer was unique in flavor and aroma’s — something that can be difficult to find in this era of the microbreweries.
The window seat in the front is by far the best seat in the house. Hang out and watch the hustle and bustle of the streets below. It’s a great escape from the loads of tourists, and quality beer to boot!

Awesome little find in Cambria! The bf and I were driving up the coast after camping in Morro Bay and wanted to make a few stops off of Highway 1. Looked up breweries and brew pubs in our path and found Cambria/​927 Beer Company.
I got a flight of 5 — the Amber, Pale Ale, IPA, Saison and Bock. Also got pints of the Porter and Stout. We have such luck with finding delicious brews in new cities! I enjoyed all my tasters as well as the pints. My favorite was probably the Bock. I wish I lived around here so I could come back again!
Love the house-​like environment, really comfy. There are board games you can play and there’s plenty of seating if you just want to sit around and chat. Really laidback place and I wish there were more small brew places everywhere!

This place is awesome! Walking in to all the Pearl Jam posters I knew we’d found a great place. Friendly service and they have some of the best beers I’ve ever had in a brewery. The place is perfectly low key with chairs and tables as well as couches to hang out on. There were lots of board and card games to play as well as large windows to sit by and people watch. I had the amber and my husband had the bock, both were fantastic! We also tasted the oatmeal stout and porter. It was hard to choose for a growler to take home, but we decided on the bock. We’ll be ba k to refill it and drink more!

Aaron Wharton (owner/​president) brews the best (IMO) to the point that THIS is THE ONLY place I imbibe beer/​ales!
My hubby took me here over 4 years ago and to be honest, it just keeps getting better as does Aaron’s business!
Whenever we are in town, this is ALWAYS our fist stop!!!
So happy for you Aaron! Hit him up for all the yummy local spots to eat at as well!
