Let me start off by saying how much I love guess, guess has all up to date fashion. Every time their is a new trend coming up either for fall, spring, summer, winter, etc… guess is always on top of it! I go to guess in Cambridge side galleria once in a while, but I mainly go to the one in south shore mall. I went in to this location today around 6pm hoping to see one of my good friends who I guess no longer works their. She is an absolute amazing associate! Her name is Samantha, she helped me pick out many dresses, tops, jeans to go with my look, purses, you name it. The girl was a sweet heart. Anyway I came in today looking for her and I was rudely approached by the store manager. I guess she thought I was going to rob the place or something? Since I kept looking around the store for my friend, and to her I bet this looked a little fishy. This manager had a horrible attitude towards me ending with a smile on her face and her walking away from me. Not only did she have horrible attitude towards me, but what is worse is that her staff was watching her be so ignorant. Now what’s going to happen you ask? Her staff who looks up to her is now going to think that type of customer service is acceptable. If you love shopping at a store that not only is up to date with their clothing but has good customer service I say go to a different location. She not only made herself look bad, but she is also making guess look bad as a whole. Corporate should be more on top of store managers in making sure they give each and every client the best customer service. I am no longer going to feel comfortable coming in there as long as that manager works there. I could not believe how this woman treated me and knowing she is store manager makes it worse. I mean does she not care about her appearance? I would be on my toes if I were her. The CEO of another business could of came in today and if she would have been on her toes like most managers of retail stores are, she probably could’ve gotten a good recommendation to her boss by this CEO. If any of you are looking for a guess would good customer service while shopping I recommend the one in south shore mall or the one on Newbury.

Very clean outlet, was looking to actually treat myself. I don’t care about a price but I care about customer service. Apparently if you look like your«rummaging» they start to follow you round as if your ready to take off with something. Well, if you had my size in an area where it would be easy to find without messing up your cute pile, I wouldn’t have experienced the young mans hostility ANDHEWOULDNTHAVERECIEVEDMYSIMPLEBUTYETSMARTASSATTITUDE. I had a long day and all I wanted to do was shop. I look around notice the dark wash jeans with the crop, etc and some nice tops, continue to walk around, first thing he says is «it looks like your rummaging through some stuff what can I help you with?» I said do you have these in a 32, he checked some inventory type thing and say«looks like we must of sold it».sounding like a damn lie, everywhere I looked was 31 and below(still was able to fit like a glove). He asked if he wanted to put my stuff in the fitting room while I still shopped, no biggie but he continued to follow me around then tried to press me into some other nonsense. I felt very uncomfortable, but my jeans were the apple of my eye, ended up buying them of course but his customer service made me feel highly uncomfortable and I doubt ill be returning there, especially with that kind of attitude he got. Thanks for fucking up my Friday…

I have quickly become a huge fan of this store. I walked in on a whim looking for something fun to wear when I go out on the weekends. Interestingly, there is much more to the style of the clothes. I found lots of fun styles for the day, for work, for school, etc… it’s awesomely versatile. The only down side to the clothes is that the sizes are hard to gauge just by looking at a shirt or pair of pants so I have to try on almost everything before buying it. It adds on so much time. I have also quickly warmed up to the employees here as they are not overwhelmingly asking me if I need help every 5 seconds and they are not trying to give me a makeover with a whole new wardrobe. They all seem very down to earth and understand that I will come to find them if I need help.

I like this store. I’ve shopped here a couple of times and the staff has always been very helpful and friendly. They don’t seem to mind the fact that I’m not a rich hipster. Or that I linger around the sale racks and pick out gayish clothing. Once again, props to the staff. For reelz.
