If you don’t start with the fresh homemade black raspberry pie, you have made a mistake. Incredibly delicious!

Had a wonderful lunch of fresh fried onion rings to share then Greek salad with potato salad the way I got it in Tarpon Springs FL. Large serving. Finished with fresh homemade Strawberry Pie. Large serving. My husband had crab on top of puffed pastry. Rated good not outstanding. Overall good friendly server and staff. Would eat there again.

We have eaten here many times. I love love love their food especially the greek salad. The fish and chips are excellent as well. Fries come out hot and yummy. We had the battered fried mushrooms for an appetizer which were delicious! Their pies are to die for… we have tried almost all of them and have not been disappointed. Service was great. Very friendly staff. Really really good food at unbelievable prices.

I absolutely love this place! The potato salad was melt-in-your-mouth good and the salmon dish was equally tasty. The only thing that I was mildly annoyed with was the time it took; but, I took in consideration that it was a very busy place at the time and almost all of the tables were full of hungry people like myself. I’ll definitely be back!

While traveling to Myrtle Beach we were starving. So after exiting the freeway we saw a sign for Theo’s restaurant we decided to give it a try. Wow this place is a local favorite packed to the max and it has a menu that is loaded with all kinds of goodies. I tried the steak sandwich which was excellent cooked perfectly and plenty of meat we also had the fish dinner which was also excellent. We would definitely recommend Theos especially if you are in the neighborhood. Great meal great service great menu can’t ask for much more by the way the desserts are also very good

The«Coney Dog» is a tasty classic. But I had the pork chops and rib eye steak. It was some of the worst«food» I have ever had. I say«food» because it was not edible. When you see tables of 300+ lbs people shoveling spoons fulls of grave in they gullets it is more reminiscent of a feeding troth at a farm then a restaurant. This restaurant would never exist in NY or CA. I feels discussed to be an American after this experience.

The food was good, not excellent but good. The service was incredibly fast and the waitresses were extremely nice. The best part of the meal was the pie that we had. We had the blackberry pie and it was delicious! The other pies looked amazing as well. The atmosphere of the place was nice. I recommend sitting outside.

Very good and affordable! They are an extensive menu with a large number of items to chose from. There is something for everyone and you can’t skip dessert at Theo’s! Try the pie, you won’t regret it!

Okay I get it. People in Cambridge must be easy to please. It’s a restaurant. The food isn’t good, but it’s not bad either. If you are in the mood to eat junk food in a quality a bit higher than a fast food joint you have your place. I know… the pie. Everyone and the pie. I am not that fond of it… sacrilege I know. Something about the crust… my uncle and aunt down south love the pie there though. when they visit they go buy one. That’s why I’m giving 3 stars… in their honor.

Delicious food and great prices. Friendly wait staff, worth the 2 mile drive off the interstate.

Greasy spoon/plate lunch type. Owner also owns The Forum on the other side of town and maybe one other place in Cambridge. They all operate on the same formula. Note the pies.

I dined here recently while staying in Cambridge overnight. This was not our first choice, but the first restaurant we stopped in was far too crowded on a Friday night. We were happy to find Theo’s with tables available. The initial impression wasn’t a great one. The décor is plain at best, even a little shabby, and the service we received was very inattentive.(Took a long time for someone to take our order, took a long time for our server to notice my food had never come out — while my companion’s had, etc). As another reviewer mentioned, they employ teenage girls who don’t seem to have much instruction or supervision. As for the food, we splurged on a carb fest of the beer battered onion rings AND the battered fried mushrooms. Boy am I glad we did, both were fantastic.(The fried mushrooms were so good that I’ve been idly considering buying a fryer since eating here). But, I should have just ended my order there. I added a chef’s salad which was pretty mediocre, with wilted ice berg lettuce and lunch meat grade meats that were not at their prime. Would I go back? If I had to eat in Cambridge, I probably would, because it’s probably one of the better bets in town, and the prices were extremely reasonable. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again though.

I have eaten here twice now and had similar experiences both times. Theo’s prices are reasonable and they have a large menu to choose from but otherwise I was not impressed. The food is average but the service was not good. They employ several teenage girls who either don’t care or don’t know what they are doing. Something was wrong with my order both times, the waitress had to be reminded several times about refills, and it took forever to get the check. I gave them a second chance but I will not be back.

We used to live on the east coast before we moved to the midwest. We liked where we live now, but one thing we miss is the Greek diner. By that I don’t mean a place where you can get stuffed grape leaves, but rather a place where you can get just about anything you want and trust that it will be pretty good, relatively inexpensive and served promptly by a friendly staff. In short, the iced tea will be fresh and refreshing. So it is, based on one lunch, at Theo’s in downtown Cambridge, Ohio. We were in the midst of a day-long drive and looking for something local and cheerful. Theo’s has been a fixture in Cambridge for more than 80 years, with the same family in charge all along. Some of the lunch crowd we saw may have been at the grand opening, but we always enjoy the increasingly rare opportunity to bring down the average age in a place. A good but not overwhelming list of choices on the menu, which appeared to be recently updated. As noted above, the fresh and brisk iced tea was a good sign. We took a chance on the fish and chips, which is not always properly prepared in diners. Good score. The two large filets of fish were fresh and covered in a crispy and tangy breading. The fries were good as well. We tried the chicken salad, too, and it passed the test as pretty good, relatively inexpensive and promptly served. Don’t expect a food adventure at Theo’s. Expect not to be disappointed. That’s often enough.

Wife and I gave Theo’s a try yesterday at lunch and found it overall average at best. I got the chili and the swiss mushroom burger, and the wife the French onion soup and the steak sandwich. Now I liked the slight heat of the chili and would rate it a 4+, and the burger was better then average and a 3+. The French onion soup was very thin and tasteless giving it’s 1 rating, and the steak sandwich was nothing more then a very thin chopped steak and the best I can give it is a 2. So, I give the food we ate a rating of 3. The service we had was pretty good earning it a 4, the facility less then average earning it a 2, and the value was better then average earning a 3 when you take in the food rating. So, overall I rated Theo’s a 3. Would we go back? If we were in the area we might. Would we travel 30 miles to eat here? No.

A friend if mine and myself were just passing through the area and picked this place on a whim, and it was frankly the BEST decision we’ve made in a while! The service is very friendly with such a down-home polite attitude. I ordered the steak sandwich with grilled onions and it was one of the best I’ve ever had! Didn’t have any room for the pie but I noticed that the pieces are MONSTROUS! Just stumbled upon this place and I absolutely loved it.

This is a diner style restaurant, and they are FANTASTIC!!! Very friendly service, the wait staff up sells to add pies, but the pies ARE great! we got 2 slices to enjoy, and both were very good. From what I saw, a very well oiled machine, hard working, open kitchen… ate here twice while visiting Salt fork state park in 4 days. Theo’s is the real deal, wish all restaurants were run this well.

I went to Theo’s while conductIng a training session for work. I had been told, «Everything’s delicious, save room for pie.» I had the creamed chicken over biscuit with apple sauce and mashed potatoes. I wish I had an extra slice of bread to sop up the rest of the gravy once I was done. The dish was absolutely delicious. For dessert I went with the black raspberry pie; though I definitely would have considered any of the 12 or so other pie options. I’m told that the peanut butter chocolate is one of the best. Aside from just how great the pie tastes, it’s very well priced at just over $ 2/slice. Definitely check out Theo’s if you’re near Cambridge. I’m already trying to plan future training sessions there, just to have a meal there, and save room for pie! Also; they will validate your parking for the nearby parking lot if you ask.
