I’ve gone to Camillus Nails & Spa several times over the last few years. Unfortunately, my experience yesterday has made me question going back. I had a regular pedicure and gel manicure. The manicure was great and thankfully done by a different woman than the person who had done my pedicure. I usually expect a pedicure to be relaxing and to feel good afterward, but that was not the case at all. I asked for callus removal, which I’ve had done before. However, not only were my calluses removed, but I felt like I almost lost a toe. The woman proceeded to remove my calluses by using the file as if it were a saw. She rubbed the side of my toe so hard, that it ripped skin off and bled. Today(the following day), both feet still hurt. I have a bandage and ointment on the cut. While my toenails might look nice, the gash on the side of my big toe does not and the pain was certainly not worth $ 35!

They do not do acrylic here, only gel which is fine but they are extremely expensive. I received just a regular new set of gel nails, unpolished, and it was $ 90. This is above and beyond what anyone should pay for this service. And FYI the service was no better than where I normally go at Sexy Nails. I will not be returning.

This place is pricey but worth the money. This is my third pedicure At different spots in Camillus. By far the best in the area. Attention to detail and not rushed. Thank you.

Best gel pedicure around for sure! Doesn’t peel off or get funky. The calf massage So worth it to upgrade to a deluxe pedi! Best neck/shoulder massage after as well! They just recently remodeled too! Love it here!

Went there ask for fill in, they looked at my nails and said they only carry powder no acrylic and gel. Sat down to get my nails done and the man shook his head the whole time because I asked for powder then he slapped on a coat of paint and shook his head the whole time and had other people come look at my nails that worked there. I’m from Fort Lauderdale not a local and my nails look thick and wide which I hate. Cost me $ 40 for a fill in and color change on my toes

I have been going to this nail salon for the past two years and the staff has always been friendly and inviting. No appointment is necessary but is a good idea as they can get very busy. Gel manicures last approximately two weeks with no peeling or chipping. The pedicure service is wonderful and of course the hot towel massage is a great treat! I recommend this salon to others who ask where I go for my mani-pedis.

Very nice staff and welcoming environment. Great price for quality service. My daughter and I are visiting from CA and stopped by after a salon down the street couldn’t take us at our appointment time. So glad we did. This place was much nicer all around.

I have been coming here for months & getting the same green tea pedicure for the same several months. Today, after I asked for only a filing of my nails, the man helping me cut my nails so short that they bled. He did not use all the products that are typically used for the pedicure, & the polish was smeared all over my toes. Never coming back unless I can get my typical girl– who does nothing be but stellar work. I was able to get right in without waiting & the prices are on part with other nail places in the area.

Clean place with friendly people. Prices are reasonable– maybe $ 5 more than other places but this one comes with a mini shoulder rub and hot towels. I would go back!

Been multiple times since my original review. Really love it here. Its very relaxing. They do great work. Got a pedi at a different place from a gift certificate that I received and I must say one of my top reasons for going here is that they DONOT do acrylic nails so it does not smell like most nail places(which gives me a headache) Original: Went to get pedicures with my 2 sisters. My technician(Amy) was great. She turned on my massage chair(my sisters’ did not) and kept asking if whatever she was doing at the time was good. Decent leg/foot massage. Over all pretty good. Even got a hot towel shoulder massage while my toes were drying. No complaints on my end, but like I said neither of my sisters massage chairs were turned on nor were they asked if they wanted them on. And my one sister waited for like 10 minutes before her tech even surfaced from the back room, and the lady that seated her just told her to put her feet in the water and didn’t ask about or test the temperature(it was cold). Just a few minor complaints. Nothing serious.

Definitely the nicest nail salon on this side of town. Lovely atmosphere. Reasonable prices. And they don’t do acrylic, so it doesn’t have that nail salon smell. I got a gel manicure. It cost $ 35, but the technician was very detailed and did a great job. I’m sure it will last at least two weeks. Communicating with the staff can be tough due to the language barrier, but it isn’t a major deterrent. I will definitely go back.

There’s a few things you need to know about this place before you go: not everyone speaks English fluently(although that’s not a deterrence for me and shouldn’t be for anyone else) and there’s a high probability you will have a guy doing your nails(I’m not used to this so it was something that surprised me — there were definitely more men working here than women). I needed a pedicure so I called ahead to ask about the price and whether I needed to make an appointment. The lady who answered didn’t seem to really understand fully and asked me to make an appointment even though I was going there the middle of a weekday. When I showed up, it was clear that I did not need one as they didn’t even check me in or look at an appointment book. This place does get pretty busy though(even when I was there on a weekday afternoon) so maybe you do for busier times of the day? I’m not sure. The interior is clean and has tranquil décor. Strangely, there’s no music(or none that I could really hear) so it was a bit awkward to just sit there in silence listening to everyone getting their nails done. I was a bit worried about a guy doing my toes but he actually did a really good job. My massage chair stopped working after a few minutes for no apparent reason and he kindly fixed it for me when I brought it to his attention. Bottom line: $ 25 for a pedicure seems high(although it seems to be the going rate for this area?) but it has lasted way longer than a normal one does for me and seemed to dry really fast so kudos to the pedicurist. I would probably go back there for a basic mani/pedi since from the previous reviews, they seem to scam(or misunderstand?) people who get the specials.

Absolutely awful. I got scammed out of 150 $ here. There was a special on the board and no price so I asked how much and the man said 17. Then at the end of everything after I got the special with my friend he gives me a bill for 140 $. For two pedicures?! This place is rude, over priced and for my 70 $ pedicure they did a really awful job.

I was living in syracuse for 3 months & needed a pedicure badly. A friend from work recommended this place. I walked in & the place is spotless & very nice. The staff was friendly & did a nice job.
