Denny’s

This is the worst «restaurant» ever. I don’t even know how it’s still open.
I’ve had a close friend get sick from eating there, I’ve been served raw chicken.
I would give it less than a star if I could.
Calling for takeout is a joke, sometimes you have to call a few times to get someone just to answer the phone. Food is never hot, not good or consistent.
The last time was it for me. Ordered a turkey club with fries. Simple enough right?
I get home with my takeout meal, take a couple bites, open up the sandwich to confirm what I had thought. My turkey club had no turkey or bacon.
I just paid over $ 10 for bread, a piece of soggy lettuce, 2 slices of tomato and soggy cold fries.
I called and asked for a manager or supervisor, they told me they would let the store manager know tomorrow when she was in, told me they couldn’t replace my food without a managers approval first?!
What if I were dining in? If I was given that meal I would NOT have paid for it. I’m
Assuming they would have made it right and not just said «oh sorry, pay anyway.»
The store manager that I had to call to reach the next day also told me it is policy to not replace meals without her permission. I told her it was ridiculous and I wanted my money back. I told her I would bring her the meal back. She said I could have a replacement meal that I ordered, but after them always being so non consistent with their food and service I was already done forever.
Also, there is ALWAYS A HUGE group of employees sitting and smoking outside at any given time. Must be why the phones never get answered and food is never right.

Food was aweful, had to ask waitress 3 times for a water. When I called her out on it she apologized and said she got busy. Yet I saw her bring water to other tables as soon as they asked and have time to conversate with others she knew. There were two parties of 8 or more the hostess told she couldn’t make accommodations for because it was too busy after they waited for 10 minutes. Rude, can’t handle traffic on a Sunday morning and not worth any $!!!

Is a good thing that they were open on Christmas Day. The two stars are for the service only. The server was very courteous and attentive. The food took forever to get to the table. I understand that they were slammed but your restaurant kitchen is supposed to support a full dining room. The food was not good either. Asked for crispy hash browns and they were soggy. The eggs were ok but the pancakes were supper dense. My wife had the gingerbread French toast and it was like a piece of dense cake. Not very good. The prices are fine but you get what you pay for.
