You can see the kitchen and they still have food like this, so disgusting. Wonder how the part looks that the diners can’t see, I think they need a surprise inspection by the health department.

Definitely a traditional chain. They have alright burgers and, surprisingly, very good French toast. An update of décor and perhaps a deep cleaning would do a lot of good. Everything seems very old. It’s almost like walking into the early ‘90s every time you walk in here. The service is great. Very attentive and make sure you know all the specials.

I went for ice cream. Only to be severely disappointed. We ordered Reese’s pieces sundae and a milkshake. The sundaes were not very good. No toppings at all. For a sundae of that size there should be more than a spoonful of toppings. Very disappointed in the whole experience. We used to go to friendlys a lot but hadn’t been there in a while. It will be a while before we go back again. For the cost of what they charge you can do much better else where.

Friendly’s has a long way to go to win my wife and I back. I ordered chicken soup and and the Fish n Chips. My wife ordered the Fish a am Jig sandwhich. Here’s what happened. I told my server She did not bring my soup. This was when she brought my entrée. She if course was apologetic. I told her I did not want it now. She brought it anyway. I told her to take it back. She had a Hissie fit. Well, it went away. My wife’s fish was burnt. We sent that back, the Hissie fit from the waitress continued. Apparently she got an attitude adjustment from the manager. He came out and apologized then offered a new sandwhich for my wife., The manager then said he was taking care if the bill. Friendly’s food and service has deteriorated over the years. They really need to work on a plan to get customers back in the door

I went in for ice cream, but ended up getting dinner. A regrettable decision. The service was decent; our waitress was pleasant, although we saw 3 different people as meals, drinks, and ice cream were served. I got the Buffalo Chicken Tender dinner and it was a mistake: the tenders were so saturated with oil that I could squeeze it out of them and they tasted faintly of hotdogs(guessing they use the same oil for everything) and were bland. They didn’t even taste like chicken. The fries were obviously shipped in frozen and were flavorless. The coleslaw was bathing in a soup of buttermilk and mayo; I didn’t even try it. The ice cream was fine, no complaints there. The design of Friendly’s is a problem if you’re dining with more than one other person. The booths are tiny and if you have more than four people you have to sit with a divider between you. The whole place is very cramped and uncomfortable.
