Heavily overpriced, average quality ice cream. Lack of options for hard ice cream, hot fudge sundae $ 7?!? And there really was no hot fudge!

Pete runs a nice business. Everything always seems clean and orderly. I just wish they had more selections of hard ice cream. The prices are pretty good. This is my favorite place to get ice cream in Syracuse. Also decent outdoor seating.

I could eat gallons and gallons of the Red Raspberry Sherbet, and the watermelon sherbet. Highly recommend on those grounds alone.

Worst ice cream ever. They aren’t selling anything unique, or even good. Tried 3 – 4 times at Pete’s and Carols but it just not very good ice cream at all, especially for the price, which usually doesn’t weigh in on my reviews, but at this place it’s like an insult to injury.* Ice cream robbery! *longest sentence ever

Been going here for 20+ years and nothing has changed. Same machines, signage and ice cream. Brings back so many memories. Delish but can get packed on a hot day

Love this place! So many flavors of ice cream and a local joint that has been around forever. A staple in the summer for everyone in town.

Worst hot fudge sundae. Should have just ordered ice cream as there was barely any hot fudge. And it was $ 7 !! Happened one to many times.

When I go to Syracuse to visit the family, and it happens to be a visit during the summer, I always make my folks go to Peter’s Polar Parlor during my stay. I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl(the early 70’s), and I still love making a stop when I’m in town. If you’re a huge fan of soft-serve ice cream like I am and live in the Central New York State area, give this place a try!

Awesome. Pete’s has been around forever, and when I’m in town I come here with alarming frequency. It’s guaranteed to get any bad taste out of your mouth. Lisa knows what I mean. This is a classic American soft ice cream place that’s closed in the winter. It’s got retro design, bright lights, bright employees and any kind of soft ice cream you might want, including frozen custard and, suddenly, wine ice cream. I don’t plan to try the wine ice cream, because at Pete’s I always have and always will get the cookies ‘n cream Polar Storm.
