Dinner with friends in the area on a Friday night brought us here. Surprisingly there was room at the bar for the 6 of us to wait the hour, which was about right. Good sized bar and service. The calamari, artichoke dip, and spicy shrimp appetizers were all delicious! Salads were more croutons than substance but the appetizers were filling enough. Various steak selections all arrived cooked as ordered, tender, and tasty. I recommend the mashed sweet potato with cinnamon butter, but all sides were good. Amy is a very engaging and knowledgeable waitress. Manager has a great attitude and stopped by every table. Nice to see! Overall a very good place!

We started with the chicken bites. They were essential school lunch quality nuggets drenched in a thick sauce. The salad– I had mixed green– was really a bag o salad with two onions, some croutons, and orange cheese. The mashed potatoes tastes like the crust of gas station pizza that has been on the fridge for four nights. The only redeeming feature was the actual steak. I had the prime rib and it was quite tender and tasty. The waitress was nice. Why do all restaurants have to ask whether or not you’ve ever been there before– as if the experience is so unique that it requires a guided tour? Anyway, go here if you like steak and shitty sides.

If I could base this rating on only the waitresses we have encountered, I would give it 5 stars. Shannon and Ali are incredibly nice and friendly… Even after our unfortunate complaints. I dread going here for food because I hate the thought of my husband having to flag down the waitress, but when my husband wants steak we usually try this place… Unfortunately, every time we have been here, the steak is always well done or medium done even after he stresses that he can only eat raw steak. The last manager we talked to told him to order it «black and blue» instead, and so he has ordered it that way thinking this was the code word for actually getting a raw steak. We learned tonight that it doesn’t matter how you order it, its always extremely overcooked despite what your order was. The steak still tastes great, and I would have no problem with it otherwise. But I think a steakhouse should figure out how to serve a rare steak when ordered. The sides are usually pretty good, some better than others, and the chicken can sometimes be dry.(And we always tip our waitresses really well for dealing with my husbands polite complaint because we feel bad!) I don’t think we will be coming back though!

First off, don’t waste your money here. This place is not worth it. Big hype, not good food. If your business is a steakhouse, the steak should be delicious. My $ 25 outlaw ribeye was a severe disappointment. While it was medium, it was terribly oversalted and cooked on too high heat. The steak had a disgusting charred, almost petroleum flavor. I can make a better steak at home. My drink was empty for about 40 minutes. The service was pretty much non-existent. The wait staff was sitting at their own table eating lunch… At lunchtime?! Please take my advice, go somewhere else. For the amount of money you would spend here, you can get a FANTASTIC meal from great local restaurant.

Great food and service! The fritters were so good, and the salads fresh. Steaks good. Cocktails done right. Our server was a doll.

Great addition to Camillus! I’m perplexed by the meh reviews — we really enjoy this location! The food is really pretty tasty, service is always great and since the building is brand new the interior is nicely decorated and clean. I like that they offer grilled chicken as an option on the kids menu too. The calamari is my favorite! It’s no 5 star chop house but it’s still excellent for what it is!

Good service, overpriced for what you actually get. Ordered chicken wing appetizers, they were as skinny as my pinky. A tiny bites worth of meat. I’ll keep going to delmonicos my Good steaks.

Went here for lunch on a Saturday a couple weeks back, and had a good time. The server was very attentive, had no problem getting refills. Almost everyone got the Tavern Steak sandwich, which was GREAT. I asked for extra onion straws, and let me tell you what, the full sandwich with a bunch of those stuffed in there is FANTASTIC. I would come back just for that. I was not impressed with the Shrimp and Lobster chowder however, I found it very sweet, and extra salt couldn’t save it. I very much look forward to coming back for dinner sometime soon, those sweet corn fritters look great, as does the spinach artichoke dip. And that’s not even getting into the steaks and the epic desserts! Can’t wait to go back!

I’m new to the area but familiar with longhorn. I love coming to this location. I don’t have to go to the mall which is great and the staff is always friendly. The Main reason I come. BESTSTEAKEVER. I am never disappointed!

Good appetizers, our server was excellent, very pleasant and accommodating to my child’s finicky appetite. Was very disappointed with my Prime rib though, very dry and tasted old, like the meat sat around too long. The rest of my family seemed happy with their entrees though.

Went there today for my birthday dinner, after looking forward to it all week. It was really quiet for 4pm. Waitress was friendly and attentive. We ordered our salads, I had the tossed with Bleu & crumbly, hubby had the Ceasars. Both good, mine was great, lots of crumbly. We ordered our steaks, medium rare, with loaded baked potatoes. Steaks came, and I immediately asked my husband. .does this look like 8 ozs of steak? Come to find out, they gave us the wrong order. Right one came but the baked potatoes were not only not fully cooked, they were cold. Steaks were delicious but eaten before the waitress came back. After a bit, the manager came over. He was VERY generous in compensating us, and even allowed me to keep my birthday dessert coupon for the next time. We will definitely go back, but maybe when it’s a little busier.

My husband took me here for my birthday. Although some chain restaurants have gotten better over the years(TGIF for example), I am always skeptical considering the number of great family businesses we have in Syracuse and surrounding areas. My skepticism flew out the window though at LongHorn. We each ordered the sirloin with provolone topping. I ordered mine MR and the husband ordered his M. When our steaks arrived we dug in. It wasn’t even until halfway through that I noticed my husband got mine and I got his because they were so tender and mouth watering. The baked potato was ho-hum and not much to write home about, more dry than moist. But they do offer Kraft macaroni and cheese for the kiddos, a sure hit for your picky eater. I would recommend this if in the area.

Went on a Friday night wait was about 15 minutes, hostess and bartenders very pleasant. Once we sat down we went with their $ 30.00 meal for two and couldn’t believe how much we got for our money! An appetizer, salad, and entrée which were full size not like some other places that make smaller portions for these meal deals. The food was delicious service was ok, but price and quality definitely made up for that! Will definitely be back.

Went last night and the server wasn’t very pleasant. Took an hour for our food to arrive. Will try again but service needs to improve. The food was ok.

It was our first time here. I wasn’t too thrilled he picked this place because I’m not big on steak. We were sat immediately. The atmosphere is nice. Our server was very quiet but sweet. We had artichoke/spinach dip for an app and it wasn’t that great. Not terrible but I wouldn’t order it again. I ended up getting a steak and it was amazing! I enjoyed it immensely. The rice was over seasoned but the steak made up for it. We had chocolate cake for dessert to share. I loved it and I would honestly go back just for steak and cake :)

Saturday night wait was quoted at 45 minutes but were seated in 25 minutes. Sweet Chili Calamari appetizer was wonderful. «Boldly seasoned» steaks were not boldly seasoned; neither were seasoned fries. Asked for more seasoning which waitress brought. Calamari appetizer tipped this up to 4 stars; flank steak, ribeye, filet, and sirloin were about 3 ½. Service was attentive but sometimes required a second request on a busy night.

Well, the hostess took us to a table that was not ready for people to be seated. It took a while for us to get any drinks. We finally order drinks and the appetizer. The appetizer was the lobster and shrimp dip with warm tortillas. We couldn’t eat it as the chips looked as if they were dipped in oil. They were drenched in oil. The server noticed and brought us back another batch of chips. Same story. We couldn’t eat it. The manager came out and apologizes, but wow. We ordered three steaks cooked at the same temperature(medium). They were all cooked at different temperatures and to make matters worse, mine(the $ 25 steak), was charred and bitter. All and all a bad experience. The service was not bad, but the food, not worth going. Really sad, because the place is really nice.

Beer and wine were expensive and there were no specials. Food was no better than any other chain steak house and cost more. Fillet mangan tasted like regular over salted steak, and the lobster on top was a joke. On the plus side. The kids cheese burger, which was sloppily made, was half ars plopped from un frozen beef and tasted suprizingly decent. Service was slow. It seemed like they just opened and were working on getting their act together. Had to make multiple requests for drinks, ketchup and water. Wrong food to wrong people etc… We arrived at 5:40 and weren’t seated till 7 after we were told it was a half hour wait. More expensive than other chains of the same type. But no better if not worse. I like taco bell. So im not looking for a restaurant that would please a celebrity chef. But this place needs to «kick it up a notch» or three. It’s a chain and should at least provide solid value and a smooth experience.

No wait for lunch which was nice and service was okay, if a little slow. Food was dry and overcooked. Four Cheese pasta has basically no cheese and medium hamburger came out well done and the roll had the flavor of a rock. Would not recommend going here until they get it together.
