Omigosh, how have I not been to this great Apple Hill place before? Sooo glad we found it, because it’s now one of our new faves :) Hubby was starving and said I had to find a place that offered food, real food, not just hot dogs. So, using my handy Apple Hill app on my cell phone, plus of course using Unilocal,I found out that Apple Ridge has nachos and chicken wraps and tri-tip sandwiches and pulled pork sandwiches and… well, you get the drift. We pulled up at just about 11am, and got our grub. Also perused their bake shop, which smelled heavenly and had oodles of yumminess from which to choose. I got a raspberry blossom, and one of their awesome apple dumplings, and some delicious hot apple cider. Wonderful! And the staff were so sweet and friendly :) Parking was easy, and the place is easy to find. But, we got there before Noon, which made things easy. It was getting pretty packed by the time we left.

Our 55+ group from Antelope Christian Center has a bus trip to Apple Hill each year. This is year two of eating at Apple Ridge Farms. Great experience. Candy, the coordinator who helps with the meal arrangements, rocks! So does her crew of wonderful young people who are courteous and helpful. The tri tip sandwiches are great along with the other menu items. Awesome chili! The bakery has the most delicious pastries and pies. Fresh baked and filled with apples, etc. Lots of things to see and do. You have to see their country store and vendors. Something for everyone.

So people give a one or two star review because there are no more animals? Come on. Be smart about your decisions to downgrade a great farm because they chose not to have farm animals anymore. You don’t know the reasons behind their choice. Relax and enjoy a great farm.

They don’t have the animals anymore. Lot’s of places have apple pie, but all the animals were what set Apple Ridge apart from the others. This was always a regular stop, but not really much of an attraction without all the animals. Sad to not see them.

Well this place has ruined my world. I love crumb cake. I buy it whenever I see it. I even buy Hostess Crumb Cake. That is how bad my addiction is. The Apple Ridge Farms Crumb Cake is easily the best I have had. The cake is homemade and was hot out of the oven. The cake was super moist and had a ribbon of apple throughout. The crumb topping was cinnamon-y and delicious. Also ordered a Apple Cider Donut that was too dry for my taste. Anywho that cake was out of this world.

Our family has been coming here for the past 3 years just to see the goats, It was the highlight of our trip up to Apple Hill. This year we decided to bring our visitors from SoCal and were so disappointed to not find any of the animals there anymore. My daughter was so disappointed. Where did they go? Will they return? There are other nice attractions there, but nothing quite measures up to the goats, chickens and bunnies!

Come here, you will love it! Making a decision was tough but I am sure everything is amazing. Warm Dutch Apple Pie was better than Mom’s…shhh!

First Trip here LOVEDIT! arrived just in time for lunch and that meant finding a place to park going round and round but it’s okay. Do stop here for food, shopping, apple baked goods OMG! to eat and not stop :) the kids will love the petting zoo and if the weather is nice just hangout with family and enjoy the day. On the Menu: Pulled pork sandwich — added spicy bbq sauce, it was tender and tasty Desserts– anything with apple it’s good and you can even see them baking in the background. I will have to return to write more, but yes circle this stop on your applehill map

What a fun place in Apple Hill! We didn’t know they were dog friendly until we saw a bunch of dogs there! Next time, we’ll bring Buster up with us! We ordered: Pulled pork sandwich — dry but very good with the sauce. The fiancé I picked at the sandwich with a fork to avoid the mess. Apple dumpling– meh. It was ok… Apple turnover– delicious! We can’t wait to bring more home next time Apple pie– one slice. Yum! Next time we need our cooler and then we’ll bring home a frozen pie Apple donuts. We got a dozen and it was divine :)

Our first stop was apple ridge farm. Seeing their reviews on Unilocal,we thought we’d check out this place first and back track our way out. We parked, went to the store and bought some apple cider, and walked around the craft area. We were there for no more than 20min. The environment was nice if your intention is to go there and enjoy their BBQ/foods. We only bought a half gallon cider($ 5). I did not like the cider. Upon opening the container we realized it was pasteurized. I prefer apple cider to be more tart. This one tasted like apple juice yet not the sweet freshness. We got a chance to spend a few moment gazing at the beautiful scenic view away from the activities being held on the farm. They also had fudge which were $ 3.50 per piece. The pieces were ¼ lb each. They were huge! It was nice giving the place a try but we won’t be returning. Not for us but perhaps might be good for others.

Our first stop in apple hill. First thing first is to get something to eat. The line seems long, but it moves pretty fast. They have a cash line and a credit card line(obviously cash line moves a lot quicker). I got the tri tip sandwich which is pretty good. My friend got s chicken club sandwich which looked amazing. After we ate we check out some of the shopping stands and then we were off to the next stop.

3rd stop in Apple Hill area they have a Bakery where you can buy pies, baked goods, caramel apples with and without nuts. They have BBQ& grill items next to the bakery. There’s a petting zoo area for the kids, not sure how much to buy a little cup of animal food, kids seemed to like feeding the animals. We did the easy Upper Nature Trail back to the parking lot — was just ok. Maybe worth a stop.

Very cute place with so many attractions. First thing first upon arriving was getting some food in our bellies! My friends and I went for the food shack selling sandwiches and burgers. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and my bf got the tri tip sandwich. His was a bit more pricier but it was definitely tender and juicy. We then ordered a slice of hot pie with a scoop of cold ice cream next door. I even ordered a whole slab of apple strudel togo(which by the way is SUPER flaky when rebaked at home!). I got the chance to drop by and feed some of the cute goats while taking pictures with them. There were some very interesting craft stalls all around. I was almost tempted to buy a dream catcher but was convinced I didn’t need one.

Every year this is our final stop when visiting the area. We wait to stop here last as we ALWAYS purchase our holiday pies here. Favorites from the last few years include Dutch Apple and Strawberry Rhubarb. I also purchase my annual pumpkin carving selection here. The selection amount decreases as you approach the holiday. This year we came only a week before Halloween and though the selection amount was fine, the majority of the pumpkins already had moldy stems. I was able to find one after some searching but definitely more effort and careful inspection was needed than previous years. Craft booths were up this year that hadn’t been there in the past. Opted for a carmel apple before heading home. They sliced the apple, placed it into a bowl and then poured the carmel on top. Pretty nice as I hate trying to rip the bottom of the apple slice away from the rest of the apple. Easy to eat. Carmel pour was heavy and even after finishing the apple there was plenty left! This will continue to stand as our go to holiday pie stop but next year I may commit to a pumpkin elsewhere.

Pat the face painter is THEBEST, and certainly NOT a racist! I was there when that crazy lady(Mary B.) called her many names, after requesting to see a portfolio that was not being used for her designs this year! After 14 years, people come back again and again, including me and my friends and their kids! Shame on anyone who would use that language in front of kids, right in front of the petting zoo!

Your face painter is racist! I was looking forward to this place but will not tolerate ignorance. Stood in like like 45 min for a b****. Do not have good words for your estanlishmemt! I’m going to tell all my friends and family not to ever come here! I wish i could give you 0 stars due to this witch.

We purchased what we thought was a fresh apple pie from this farm. Fortunately we looked before we took a bite! The entire inside of the pie was filled with mold! Really disappointed after paying $ 12 for the pie. On the upside… the blueberry crumb cake that we got out of their freezer section seemed fresh. The caramel apple was ok but no better than a store bought one. Feeling let down.

We stopped by Apple Ridge Farms after stopping by Grandpa’s Cellar. Unfortunately we had just had a slice of apple pie at Grandpa’s Cellar so we did not get to try the pie at Apple Ridge Farms, so this review is just on the farm area. When we arrived, we realized that it was much larger than Grandpa’s Cellar, with quite a few things to do. First of all, there were farm animals(goats, etc) and they are very cute(see attached photo) and FUN for children! There was also a face-painting area, a bakery, a store and a BBQ place — just a variety of things to do and eat there! This would be a nice stop for families or anyone camping in the area.
