We should have walked out the minute we walked in… lesson learned. If SNR was a paid subscription I would cancel it JUST for their review of this place. We wanted to like it since it’s local and we always like finding a new place to hang out, but I’m being 100% honest with this review. So here goes… BBQ? Eek! Me thinks not! You have no idea what BBQ is. PUB? Eek! Me thinks not! Pubs don’t have childrens’ movies blaring and have the kids«keep an eye on things» while you go in the back to microwave a frozen patty of meat. I’m pretty sure it’s illegal for a child to «keep an eye» on your bar anyway. NOBODY puts canned pork and beans on nachos… well, nobody except for you. And I’m willing to bet that if you twisted the end of a paper towel and stuck it inside the taps, you would find that they haven’t been cleaned recently… or ever. The beer was rancid and my husband was sick an hour later. Same with the filthy plastic cup of silverware that was brought outside to our table, with dirty forks inside. This place is a joke and the rest of the vendors, including the in-laws of the business owner, should be ashamed to have this poor excuse for a pub as their neighbor. If the owner needs a place to babysit and entertain her children while she«works»…she should run a day care and charge the parents.

We just drove all the way out here to go to the pub and were really excited to try it out and it was closed at 6 on a Friday night. The article in the windfall advertises that they are open till 8, this Unilocal listing says till 2 am and their phone message says till«slow». I would never imagine that for a pub, slow would be before 6 pm on a Friday. We were really looking forward to going here and now we have to take our business somewhere else. Please update your hours and perhaps mention that you primarily serve lunch.

UNSAFECONDITIONS Hubby was enjoying a beer as I went to go join my friend at wine tasting. I opened the front door of The Stumbled Inn and the rug in front of the door slipped out from under me. Throw rug on concrete with no sticky back to secure it to the floor. I fell and hit my head on the door threshold. I actually saw stars and blacked out for a minute. The person working there came over not to check on me but to state«Thousands of people have walked on the run and no one has fallen» REALLY? Not are you OK, do you need ice a glass of water? NOTHINGNOCARENOCOMPASSIONNORESPONSIBILITY as the goose egg on my head grew and grew. Another couple saw it and verified the rug slipped.(i should have got there info but I was dazed and confused.) My girlfriend took me to Findleton winery and they offered me ice. I then realized that the fall had broken my ruby ring and one of the rubies was gone and the prongs broken. I went back to the dreaded Inn where the now dangerous carpet was removed. The owner still offered nothing but did sweep under the couch in a weak effort to assist. my Husband found my ruby. Had I not been in a limo with friends I would have gone to the ER. Turns out I have a concussion, a bruised knee and shoulder and a severe headache. I have lost time from work and my holiday was effected by this. This is not how you handle this type of situation! No accident report no care no compassion REALLY?

We came here on a impromptu wine tasting trip on the way back from Tahoe. They have an amazing peanut butter burger on Texas toast. The chef is a pretty nice guy. The place is tucked in a shopping center with four wineries. Come here after a few free tastings. You have to pay for the food upfront, which I thought weird of a sit-down bar/restaurant, but I guess when you get busy and you are the only employee, it simplifies things. Def come here if you are on your way back from Tahoe.

PERFECT stop on the way back from skiing! Wonderful location off Route 50. Great customer service. Try the pulled pork — made with apple cider! Say hello to Tommy. Extensive beer selection.
