There is some kind of gas scam going on at this station. The other day I filled up gas and for several seconds after I hung up the gas hose back, the meter kept rolling. I showed the station manager a video I managed to capture — but she wasn’t willing to look into it. If others have seen this, maybe we should put the media on to this.

I was treated so poorly by one of the«managers» on duty. I paid for gas using a gift card that had a remaining balance of 29 dollars. I went in and asked them to run the card for the remaining balance– I went out to the pump and the pump would not pump any gas. I proceeded to call the attendant with the call button on the pump– no one came. I found out later it was broken– although there was nothing to notify customers of this who may need assistance. I then walked in and let Kevin– the cashier — who was very nice– know my pump was not working. He asked the manager on duty for assistance. This so called manager was«counting» snickers bar on the floor near the register. He slowly got up and looked at the register and then at me and condescendingly told me I had canceled the transaction because I had put the nozzle back. I let him know that Infact the pump was never working and I had only put the nozzle back in the pump after waiting for someone to come help me. I asked him to please put me on another pump or let me pump from the said pump again. He refused. He said I had to run my gift card again. I informed him this wouldn’t work as my card now had a zero balance. I showed him my signed receipt for the 29 dollar charge. He again told me I had to run my card. I did… It was denied, as I informed him it would be. Kevin the man at the register let him know this as well. He then finished counting his snickers bars and slowly made his way back to the counter… To ask me again to put my card through. I did– again it didn’t work. He refused to put me on another pump and move my charge and refused to give me Cash in exchange for the money I had paid with the gift card. I had to say I was going to call the police as he now was basically holding my money from me. He then gave me my money back-only after making me write down my name and number so they could call me so that I would have to bring their money back as my money would probably show up on my gift card in 48 hours. All this man had to do was put me at another tank. Not that difficult. His manager ended up calling to explain that they were now going to be short because I had taken the money and asked if the money was reissued to me to please bring their 29 dollars back. She then said– she has a talk with him and let him know the customer is always right? So unimpressed. I spent 20 minutes or more of my life paying for gas– asking for help and being treated horribly — all to leave on an empty tank and only get money back when letting them know I would have to call the police because they wouldn’t move the pump. She also let me know that all the pumps on the side I had been to weren’t working. Genius.

Great price for gas if you’re paying cash — especially for a 76 gas station. The workers are quite nice, and there is a middle-eastern looking woman who is easy on the eyes =) Although they get –1 star for one of their pumps not working. It’s whatever is on the other side of «7» — either 5 or 9. So avoid that one. Even the workers said they’ve been telling the boss to put up a sign at least — but whoever that is is a little too lazy.
