Foundations Hair Studio

Let me first start by saying that Molly is a hair and makeup prowess! With that being said, I was in need of a total hair transformation so I looked to my trusty LivingSocial app to see what local studios/​salons were offering hair and/​or makeover packages. I came across Foundations’ deal that I could not not purchase. What self righteous person would pass on a deal that offered a divine scalp massage, shampoo, deep conditioning treatment, haircut, blowout, and a makeup application all for less than $ 70?! Not me! I do have to say that I would have, without a doubt, paid the full price for all of these services because the quality of work and the attention to detail along with the professionalism of the staff is almost incomparable. The ambiance of the studio is so inviting and relaxing that it is near impossible to not enjoy your stay. I am confident to say that I have found a new salon/​studio for all my hair and pampering needs. Kudos Molly and Heather, kudos!

Molly is awesome! Great with cuts & I especially like her color work. Price is very reasonable, too. :-)

Just had the best experience with the talented and artistic Molly. She took my hair from fine and stringy, to Vavoom volume.
Her makeup application has transformed me from Miss Plain Jane to someone who exudes confidence and feels happy with her appearance. The cosmetics they use are very reasonably priced, and a whole lot less than Estée Lauder, Lancôme, Clinque, Dior and the usual brands I buy from Macy’s. It goes to show it isn’t always the makeup but the application, and blending of colors that can make you look your best.

Molly was awesome, patient with my questions and an absolute magician with my long fine hair!!! THANK you!!!

I broke my leg and dislocated my ankle in February 2015 and haven’t been able to see Heather. There establishment is on the second floor and I am not able to climb stair nor walk with walker. They send me my reminder of my appointment and I have had to cancel two appointment and Heather is going out of her way to come to my home and do my hair. With what I have been going through with my leg I appreciate the extra she is giving me. I have never been dissatisfied with what she has done with my hair ad we have done some out of the box experience. I trust her and want to let everyone know that Heather and Molly are the BEST!!!

– My Haircut –
Perfect every time! She’s done a great job with my hair, and she convinced me to do my hair a little bit differently so it looks more feminine.
– Up-​Do –
Perfect! She did my hair for a fashion week, and it was fabulous. Not only did it look great, it also stayed in all night without budging. OKAY, not gonna lie, it stayed in the next day too even after sleeping on it! I gave her just a general idea of how I wanted my hair, and she made it great.
– Make Up –
Heather also did my make up for fashion week… it was great! She listened to how I wanted to look at made it work. The make up she chose looked great.
– Kid’s Cut –
Hey, so they also do kid’s cuts! My two year old son screamed like a wild man, but she still did an awesome job on his hair. She understood the texture of his hair and did an awesome cut. He looked super cool (not like a normal lame kid cut.)
My husband is getting his hair cut here for the first time on Saturday too, so he’ll have to write his own review. All around a positive experience.

Heather is awesome! Be assured that everything you communicate to her in terms of what you want, don’t want, like, don’t like, will culminate in a glorious ‘do that’s just what you were looking for :)

I always look forward to my next appointment here with Molly McCormick. She works MAGIC with my hair and has such a fun sense of humor and great stories to tell, I laugh throughout the entire appointment. I leave feeling pretty every time and get tons of compliments on my hair. She is so fun, pampering, and talented, I won’t let anyone else cut my hair as long as I’m living in NorCal!

Molly is an awesome stylist! I have frizzy wavy hair and she’s the only person who knows how to cut and style it! Love the new salon. Great location and tons of parking.

Molly is fantastic! She always has a smile on her face and fits me into her schedule (even when it is last minute). She has given me helpful hints for my thin hair and always does great styling when I have some place fun to go.
