Heidi’s Hair Extension Palace

1. I’m not a chair hopper and I didn’t want «cheap» hair. I wanted hair that would last past one month.
2. Heidi didn’t highlight my hair. She simply colored it to make sure the extensions matched my real hair color which should be part of the total cost anyway. The first day, she had me leave her salon without blending the extensions with my hair & making sure the colors matched. I had to go back in the next day to complete the process. That’s after my first appointment when she started on my extensions 2 hours past my original appt time.
3. I’m not cheap. I realized you get what you pay for. I found an extensionist who sold me beautiful hair and applied extensions in a much more comfortable manner than sewing in wefts. It cost me $ 2,000, but it was well worth the price. No coupon «deal.» But she was worth every penny.
So before you issue a rebuttal, you should be sure you understand the reality of the situation. I’m not a chair hopper, I’m not cheap — I simply learned to do my research and understand that you get what you pay for with extensions.

I’m officially hooked! Heidi has done such a great job of educating me on extensions. You definitely get what you pay for with the quality of the hair & you get what you give when maintaining the hair. I was a little nervous because I have very fine hair & have struggled to grow it past my shoulders. Heidi, Clair, & Roni have gone above & beyond to make me feel comfortable caring for my new extensions. Each of them have given me practical tips on how to maintain my hair.
These ladies have such a personal approach with their clients that I don’t hesitate to call them friends. I look forward to my appointment because I get to relax, have fun, & feel beautiful. I love my extensions & can’t imagine myself without them. I love Heidi & her team & can’t imagine going to anyone else.

I am very upset with my experience here. I, like many others, were lured in by the living social deal. But before I bought it, I called and asked specifically what kind of extensions it covered and what was included. I was told that the deal was really for tracks, with hair that was a mix of human and synthetic hair. But that, «they’d take care of me» and do the keratin extensions with the deal, because my hair was very short and that would be the most natural.
And that if I wanted all human hair, which would last longer, I could pay extra for that. That sounded good, and I was trying to get these extensions before a last minute trip. The reason for the extensions being that I had just gone through cancer treatment, and no longer had the long hair I was used to.
When I showed up for the consult, the result was that they would charge another $ 100 to do the keratin extensions. I guess we had different definitions of «take care of me».
Then the hair would cost $ 495!!! For like 200 bundles. It’s possible it was 150. But I could have sworn it was 200 she said I would need. Which would allow for «a little extra». Also. This hair would last 6 months! I’d just have to come back at 3 months and have it removed and reapplied.
So. I did it. Trusting that this lady wouldn’t be screwing over a distraught cancer survivor right?
Wrong!
She did fine with the actual extensions. My hair looked pretty good when I left. I asked what I needed to do to take care of them. She told me nothing special!
Long story short. It’s two months later and the hair is disgusting! I read online how to care for the extensions and have done anything I could to keep them nice. But the hair just mats up for no reason. I ended up getting them cut, cause the ends were soooo gross. It helped for like a minute. But quickly ended up the same.
But the biggest thing that they should be ashamed of, is I counted the number of bundles on my head. And there was less than 75… BUT. More than half of them were cut in half before being applied, so it’s really WAY less than that. They sold me 3 to 4 times as much hair as they actually gave me, and that’s just plain WRONG!!!
Don’t trust this woman. She steals from cancer victims. Disgusting.
Wow. I just read the response to my original post above and I’m in complete shock. Nearly everything she wrote is lies. Like flat out lies. Everything I wrote above was the truth, and well. Why would I lie about any of this? Of course she will lie to try and protect her business. It abhorrent to do this to your customers. It’s not slander, it’s how it happened. And I think it’s awfully interesting that she does not address the issue of ripping me off and selling me 3 times the amount of hair than what she put on my head. You are just hearing from me now cause I have a life, and just never found the time to write the review. But just for the record, I gave you a chance to deal with the issue before it hit Unilocal,I wrote an email a month before, and got no response. I mean of course you didn’t respond. You sold me something you never gave me. You literally took money from me and I didn’t get what it was for. You might as well have reached into my purse and taken money from me when I wasn’t looking. You are a thief.

Heidi, Heidi, Heidi… I only wish I could post not only a picture of what you did to my hair, but most importantly our conversation of you apologizing over and over again and willing to fix it all for free. Slander «Nah» …jacked hair? Yahhhh

I am beyond thrilled to have found Heidi’s. I went in for a consultation and felt like my every need was addressed and each question was answered in full detail.
Heidi is so respectful and caring and you can tell that she loves hair and everything that has to do with it. She has a genuine compassion for her clients and has tons of information to help you decide which direction to go with your hair. She has so many options and full expertise in each and every product she carries.
It is obvious that Heidi and her staff take the time and effort to make your experience a great one. I will absolutely be back!

I am very happy I found Heidi for my hair extensions! She promotes hair care while making you feel gorgeous! She knows what she is doing when it comes to hair and it shows. She is professional, nice, very knowledgable, and does excellent work. She examined my entire head, listened to me and then went to work. I have thin hair and she was sensitive to my concerns about hair loss and styling. I am very pleased with her work. I am confident that she will help me maintain my hair beautifully. Heidi is the most professional and educated hairstylist I have ever known. My biggest mistake was going to a local salon a few too many times, because I was in a hurry. When I went back to Heidi for my next scheduled appointment little did I know that hair salon used cheap product. Heidi had the expertise and carefully showed me on a strand test as much as I wanted my hair colored because of the product used (was cheap dye), my hair was not healthy enough to take on another color. Instead of just putting dye in my hair like I wanted her to do she said that I couldn’t do that, it’s going to take some time for my hair to be healthy enough. WOW…
I’ve worn extensions for many many years and I can’t tell you that there’s nobody out there more talented than Heidi when it comes to hair. I have very thin and short hair and when I leave Heidi she makes me feel like a gorgeous woman.
I will patiently wait for my hair to be healthy once again so I can enjoy extensions and to have my dream color but will leave it in the hands of the expert… Heidi.

I tried getting a keratin treatment there through living social and, after they rejected me and said they didn’t want my business or trust me, I’m glad I got my money back and will be getting my keratin treatment in a hair salon I like! Never going back! Heidi, be on time for your appointments!

My favorite salon by far ! Heidi is so generous and so cheerful! I started coming to the salon about a month ago and I can’t go anywhere else ! I got extensions put in over a month ago and like any extensions they started to come out … I started to freak out because my trac was coming out and tangled So I called Heidi she took me in the next day and she made me feel so comfortable and found out nothing was wrong except I needed a move up
Also if you love going to a cheerful salon Heidi has the most two sweetest daughters that help out at the salon occasionally and it makes the salon that much better !
She just doesn’t do extensions and she has a deal where you refer a friend you earn yourself a discount !

Heidi is amazing

Never met Heidi nor heard much of her. Based on information on her website I was particularly intrigued of her compassion in her work with cancer patients.
I sadly left my old hair stylist after years of constant coloring that it made my hair thin and extremely damaged. Had no choice but to cut it short and I loved and miss my long hair. I came to Heidi for hair extensions consult. She explained to me in great detail of what she does and how it will look. that was based on what I wanted. Im amazed of the many options she gave. So I was interested in getting it done. Im glad to know she has a trusted hair supplier & pricing varies on what you want (color, texture & length) and it is expensive. Anyhow I saved up bought the hair and had Heidi do her thing!
Results were exquisite! My hair was full, she matched my old hair color 100% and added highlights as well. I never had so many compliments at work the next day and no one knew I had a hair weave! That was done in December 2013 :) Im writing this review now because I still go to her as of today.
Im glad to have made this investment lol. it was worth it! Not only I feel good about my hair, she really wants you to know and learn how to take care of your hair. She is as honest woman and I greatly appreciate that! Before and after pics posted soon!

Heidi is the bomb! I went from short and I do mean SHORT hair to long locks. Her work is amazing and she takes pride in getting the best quality for all of her clients! SHe explains the process for extensions and how to manage and take care of your hair. In addition, she did my hair and make-​up for a photo shoot and made me feel like a million dollars! Love, love, love her!!!

I never let anyone else other than Heidi touch my hair (it;s to my butt) because when I was younger, I’d ask them to trim my ends and they’d cut off half my hair, Heidi is all about helping you keep your hair long, healthy and beautiful and making you feel good about yourself, she caters to all races, and promotes growing your hair or doing what it takes to make the most of what you have.
