My favorite dish here is the curry katsu. Unless I’m real hungry, I usually order the mini, which is plenty filling. The musubi are also great. My favorite is the Portuguese sausage musubi. The tricky thing about these dishes is that they may look small but they are extremely filling. No matter how much I try to limit my intake, I always end up STUFFED!!! Even though this is officially labeled as a «fast food» place, the preparation is not fast by fast food standards. I try to call ahead so I don’t have to wait as long. Don’t get me wrong, I think they make the food as fast as they can without making it ahead so I appreciate the freshness. I just need to plan ahead when I come here.

Our go to place for dinner take out when we’re running late. I usually call in my order and it’s ready in 15 minutes. Our usual order of Kalua Pork with cabbage and Katsu chicken is enough to feed 3 of us. For one of the meals, I get steamed veggies instead of mac salad. Friendly enough service.

Great place. Never really ate Hawaiian fast food. I get here and there is a drive through but I don’t think it was open or they used it. Everyone I saw was just going inside. For the prices you get a decent amount of food. I got the BBQ Chicken bowl, and the BBQ beef bowl with a side of fries. It was pretty much the same thing just different meats. Chicken/Beef on top, with veggies(Broccoli, carrots, and peppers), with white rice and lettuce on the bottom. The place looked a bit run down. Typical McDonalds feel. The food was good. I gobbled it down pretty fast. The woman taking my order was nice. The venus itself only looked like it can fit 12 – 18 people total. Vegetarians are cool. All I eat are vegetarians — except for the occasional mountain lion steak. — Ted Nugent

Fast food but really yummy! Staff is friendly. Portions are very large for price. My favorite is chicken katsu by far. I am addicted to it, I crave it, and treat myself to it when I get the chance. Also can’t go wrong with bbq chicken & beef short ribs, so if you can’t decide on a favorite– try the combo. Btw I love that they have musabi here, it takes you back to Hawaii :-) This is also a great place to cater from if your having a get together… Quality of food is good enough to cater.

L&L may not have the best Hawaiian food, but it has some pretty great food in general. The serving sizes are big for the price, and I always get full before finishing the entire meal. I would definitely try the chicken katsu! All my friends and I love it, both the normal katsu or curry katsu. The barbecue chicken is also great. With good service and big portions, L&L is one of my favorite places to go.

My go to Hawaiian BBQ place. Food is on par, good taste and portions. The staff is super cool especially Arianna.

The best L&L BBQ that my boyfriend and I have ever been too! My boyfriend got the Seafood combo plate with short ribs. It came with rice, coleslaw, and macaroni salad. Unlike any of the short ribs we’ve gotten from other L&L places, this one had more meat and less fat! Will be coming back the next time my boyfriend has a craving!

Portions are huge. Service is friendly. Choices are interesting. If new take a few minutes to read the menu and look at the pictures. Pork and cabbage was good with a little sauce. Macaroni salad plain. Must have the Spam Musabi.

L&L is not the greatest Hawaiian food inside or outside of the Aloha State but it satisfies the craving and checks the box when I’m in the Golden State(which is pretty much all the time). On our most recent visit my wife had the Kalua pork, which was fine but a little too salty(as this dish often is elsewhere too) and a little too«wet». I usually go for a couple of Musabi. The Spam Musabi is a great snack so I’ll often swing by even on days when I’ve brought my lunch to my job but find myself still hungry afterward. Super nice staff too.

3.5 stars rounded up I have been to this location 2 times and both times my food was fresh and tasty! I did not mind waiting about 10 – 15 minutes while my shrimp grill because I like fresh food. Décor is outdated and table and chairs have embedded dirt at the bottom because they’re so old. Other than that the food is good. Go for it!!!

I do like their food, but the prices just appear to go up and up. This is in my neighborhood, so I go here whenever I have a craving for Hawaiian food. The people handling the front are always nice and I appreciate that. In this Valley we all need some good hospitality.

I used to come here all the time to get cream cheese wontons for the past couple years. The last time I went I read the sign that said that sauce costs extra so I asked the guy to please get me extra sauce when he was charging me so that I could pay for it. When I looked he gave me the same amount of sauce you normally get so I asked him for extra sauce again and he said we have to charge you. At that point I was fine to pay the 25 cents for the extra sauce but he then told me that he couldn’t charge my card for less than 5 dollars. I told him why would he not charge me for it in the first place when I asked then. He then proceeded to tell me I was wrong and gave me one extra sauce packet. Its sad that they are willing to lose customers over 25 cents because I will never come back to this place ever. I am in customer service and this is the worst customer service I’ve ever received.

We used to love this place but it just keeps getting worse and worse. We ignored the roach we saw on a past visit and suffered through the ants but the place is neglected and falling apart. They don’t spend money on fixing things but they just keep raising the prices. We went today as a special treat without the kids but the«manager» added an extra charge for curry sauce that my husband always gets without even telling us. When we called him on it he told us it was policy. Then he apologized but refused to waive it. He would rather lose a regular customer at his overpriced place than eat a70 cent charge for something that costs him a dime. Bad service!

Had a craving for curry and rice and no time to enjoy a Indian buffet. L & L should work in pinch right? Wrong. Had Chicken Katsu Curry. Large portion of completely inedible crap. Zero flavor. Had to douche entire box in Tabasco to even try to resuscitate this wreck. Even the Macaroni salad tasted like dog food. Girl at counter was very nice though. Drive thru window no longer open. $ for extra sauce, but would not help this thing anyway. Just really bad. Should have stuck with ribs or Spam

This used to be the spot. But over the years, the quality of the food remained the same but the price continues to increase. This place always fills me up and always a place to get my Hawaiian BBQ fix. A cool place to grab a quick dinner to go. The inside looks like a 90s burger joint. You know what I’m talking about. The ones with the swivel chairs that change be moved. Overall: average Hawaiian bqq. Get your fix and get out.

L&L probably gets unfair points because I have sentimental ties to when I lived on Oahu for a year and ate there a lot. It takes me back to happy times, warm winds, and gorgeous beaches. So when I give it 4 stars for serving rice with hamburger, eggs, and gravy on top(loco moco), you have to understand there’s some background there. L&L’s a great go-to for those of us who have such a tie to island life. Every now and then I just really need some Musubi and they’re a good option for it. Most recent trip caught me off guard with posters advertising a new ramen burger(that is, a burger with fried ramen in place of hamburger buns). It said I had to try it — so I did(I’m so gullible for the written word). And it was… well, about what I expected. It needed a little sauce and I added some Sriracha for fun, but, once dressed, it was pretty darn good eats. L&L certainly isn’t upscale — I wouldn’t bring a date you were trying to impress. Unless, of course, they’re from the islands and this will take them home in a small way. Food is pretty good. Prices are reasonable. Portions are HUGE(as you will be if you eat here daily). Ambiance is laid back(which includes less-than-updated furniture, less-than-immaculate dining conditions). Solid 4 star experience in my book, though. PS — $ 5 min for CC orders

We came here for lunch and I was ravenously hungry. It took at least 5 minutes for the cashier to show up. We almost left, but I *really* wanted Hawaiian BBQ, so we decided to wait. It would have been better if we left. I didn’t notice how absolutely filthy the restaurant was until we sat down to wait for our food. The tables, chairs, floors, walls(I could go on…) were all covered in crusty, nasty bits of leftovers. I understand that fast-food places aren’t necessarily going to be the cleanest, but this was just disgusting. The food itself was decent, but the filth surrounding me ruined my appetite. We won’t be coming back.

Had I written a review before now it would have be a four or five star review. Unfortunately that is not the case after last night. I ordered cream cheese wantons to go and when i got home I noticed holes in the styrofoam box, red flag number one. I figured they most likely caused by the silverware in the bag for my meal. I decided to eat them and the first one was fine, the second one I took a bite of tasted like mold! I was so grossed out! I called L and L and asked to speak to a manager and there wasn’t one there and the guy I talked to had no clue when she would be in. I filled in a complaint with the health department and I hope this will be taken seriously.

Dude. Who doesn’t love Spam Musubi? No, but seriously, amazing Hawaiian food. This is my guilty pleasure. I’m pretty sure it’s everyone else’s too. If you’re new, I would break myself in by ordering Chicken Katsu and expand your tastes after. That’s a good intro meal to what L&L is all about, but honestly, I’ve never had a bad meal here. BBQ Chicken, Garlic Shrimp, Kahlua pork, Loco Moco. It’s fried. It’s tasty. IT’S DELICIOUS. Also, you have the option of subbing white rice and macaroni salad for brown rice and steamed veggies, so it can be «healthier.» :) I find that the Campbell location is actually the most consistent and tasty L&L in the area. I’ve eaten at others, but they aren’t as good(I think).
