Mancini’s Sleepworld

HATE, HATE, HATE mattress shopping. The last mattress I bought was a top-​of-​the line mattress and that ended up being a huge disappointment. I vowed I wouldn’t go back and didn’t. This time around, we stopped in at a number of different mattress stores and spoke with sales people at all the stores.
I stopped in at Mancini’s Sleepworld on Bascom Avenue a week or so before Christmas. I didn’t have my wife with me and it was just a «see what they have» and check the place out type of visit. I spoke with Sean and was really happy with his knowledge, as well as the store’s selection.
The day after Christmas, my wife and I were out running errands and we stopped by the store. Sean was again working so it was nice to be able to work with him again. My wife and I both had a little time to try out the various mattresses and see what ones we liked and Sean was able to talk us through the differences.
The prices are reasonable (as mattresses go), the selection was good, and Sean was a pleasure to work with. After having visited several stores without finding a mattress /​price /​return policy, etc. combo we were comfortable with, we were able to find all of that stuff here. Most importantly, we found a mattress that «felt good» to both my wife and I. The pricing was «doable» and the sales person was great to work with.
Overall, I would recommend Sean and Mancini’s Sleepworld if you’re in the market for a new mattress. If you’re at all like me, you’ll be more than pleasantly surprised.

My partner and I were ready to make a purchase soon, when we walked in, but we were anticipating/​dreading having to deal with pushy salesman. It was a pleasant surprise, however, that the manager Michael was friendly and super helpful, and not pushy at all. We felt like we were hanging out with a friend who was really knowledgable, easy going, attentive, and genuine. He was good at explaining the various choices, respectful of our priorities and our careful deliberation. We made a big purchase and left feeling really good about it!

If you’re in the market for a new mattress I HIGHLY recommend coming here to have a look. Selection and pricing was great and the customer service was outstanding. Mike, the store manager listened to what we were looking for and our budget and gave us great information and time to make our decision. I was diagnosed with a herniated disk in my back, and in desperate need of a new mattress to support my back. Mancini’s provided wonderful customer service, and helped me find a mattress that was fit to my needs. The employee, Richard, helped us go through all the mattresses to measure my comfort level, then described which beds were best for back support. Overall, I was very pleased with the customer service, and quality of Mancini and their products.

Went in here after shopping at a few other places for a mattress with the intention of looking and shopping. Richard was easy to work with and knowledgable. Gave us a great deal — bought the mattress on the spot.

I was in desperate need of a mattress and happened to pass by this new location of Mancini’s. Walked in and was left to browse a bit (no pushy sales people). Then Mike asked a couple of questions… he listened and got to know what I was looking for.. . I now have the best mattress ever and received service way above and beyond expectations! Mike went out of his way to make sure I had exactly what I wanted. He helped to coordinate the delivery, and followed up to see how the new bed was for me. I HIGHLY recommend getting your next mattress at Mancini’s!

My mother (age 83) and I (age 60) came in on 8÷3÷15. From the get-​go, we both felt the employee who «helped» us was a bit rude, but we overlooked it. However, his tone gradually deteriorated until he became so offensively rude and condescending that we independently and simultaneously declared we were leaving. Mancini’s also covers up all pricing information, which I consider an
anti-​customer business practice designed to hinder price comparisons.
Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to buy a mattress.

Amazing Buying Experience! My husband and I just started talking about upgrading our mattress and we popped into the brand new Campbell store after dinner yesterday. We were just browsing and trying out the different beds. Sean would check on us from time to time and answer all of our questions. He was so wonderful, helpful, an professional that we actually ended up buying a mattress. It was delivered today so we’re hoping it will feel just as magical as it did in the store. With Mancini’s money back guarantee I’m not worried about it though. I still can’t get over how great Sean was to us. He didn’t pressure us or make us feel like we were putting him out at all — he just talked to us about different options, the pros and cons of the mattresses, and what may be the best fit for us. This is what customer service should be like but rarely is. Just as a side note, Michael ain’t so bad either :) We came back this evening for something else and Sean wasn’t there but Michael was every bit as great, professional, and helpful as Sean was. I NEVER gush in Unilocal reviews but this was such a great experience it’s surreal.

This is a great new location. So convenient, ample parking, but most importantly the salespeople were exceptionally helpful and courteous and really went out of their way to find me a great bed at a price I could afford. They even gave me a bed bug! (A stuffed animal, lol.) Thanks so much, guys! I will definitely bring my business back to you!

Just purchased THE best mattress EVER!!! Sean was so helpful and knowledgeable. Compared to other mattress stores I felt like Sean cared about what I wanted and not tried to sell me something I didn’t want… Like other stores did. Thank you so much Sean.
