First time here. Great beer selevtion. Excellent bartender. Will definitely be back when i am in the area. Bee Hoppy is a great IPA.

A very broad selection of available brews, a good number of brews for each variety/​style of beer, averaging four to six brands for IPAs, porters, stouts, wheats, etc,…and of course flights and if you’re not sure they’ll let you try a taste first.
Didn’t get a chance to try the food this time but I have been told its good and the menu has several unique offerings that go beyond traditional bar food. They have a more standard dining area on the West side of the place and a U-​shaped bar on the East side, and entry can be made from the parking lot on the Northside or from the South and the street near the railroad.
The service was friendly and very efficient which was nice given that I was here on a Friday after 5pm in which it quickly became a full house, this place is popular. Definitely worth considering as solid option for those in the area and who are looking for a good beer.

Don’t be deceived she this shows up in you Unilocal «Breweries» search. They have two of «their» beers on tap — but those are «their recipes» made by someone else. Hmm. However, as a «Brew pub» (lots of good beer on tap) or «Sports bar» (lots of tvs and bar food) — all is fine and good. Plus, plentiful parking.

Excellent food, lots of seating including outdoors, and the wait for the food was worth it. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it was amazing. I would totally order it again and look forward to future visits.

Best draft craft beer list in Canandaigua, hands down. In fact, I’ve often seen highly-​rated beers there that I rarely see on draft elsewhere in the greater Rochester area. Great food: large menu with plenty for everyone, from those who just want a basic cheeseburger, to those who’d rather have their burger with avocado and sauteed peppers & mushrooms, to those who prefer their reuben made with kielbasa (plenty besides sandwiches, as well, including daily specials). And always excellent service, too. Also, nice patio to sit on this time of year. Basically, there is nothing I don’t love about this place, other than the fact that it’s not in my backyard.

Went on a Saturday night, didn’t seem like a lot of people waiting but was told 20 minutes. Asked to sit outside and hostess said if possible but when we came in the were 2 open tables. Waited 30 minutes and went up to ask hostess how much longer and she said your next oh I can sit you now. Sat us inside and gave us menus. Sat there for 15 minutes and no waitress ever came over. Fed up at that point and got up and left, on the way out her hostess apologizing to another group because of same issue. Won’t be going back there again.

Absolutely the worst service I have ever received at a bar/​restaurant.
I was in town visiting with my husband, and our friends who are local took us here, as they have had good experiences there before. What a mistake — we all were extremely dissapointed. It was this past Monday evening, after waiting 15 minutes just to be seated (and the place was not full at all) we were finally seated and then had to wait a very long time for one of the several staff walking by to acknowledge us and take our drink order. We were very hungry so we put our wings order in right away. Thank goodness we did because our wings (which were quite mediocre) came out before our beers. They forgot our drink order. Finally, the bartender (we were seated close to the bar) walked by us and we had to let her know we had not received our drinks. She brought them to us, with my friend’s beer in a very thin glass with half of it being head. After being further ignored by the waitstaff, the bartender finally took our dinner orders. Once we received our food and finished our first round of (almost forgotten) drinks, no one came by to ask how everything was (which would have been nice as I did not like my wrap at all and could have politely asked for something to be added to make it taste better) or if we needed anything else. NO ONE EVEN CAME BY TO ASK IF WE NEEDED REFILLS ON OUR DRINKS.
To make matters worse, we saw the bartender drinking a pint of beer and texting on her phone while we are there wanting another round of drinks. My friend asked if she could have more beer in her glass since half of it was head and the bartender seriously gave her a splash of beer in there. We also got to witness the staff having a heated argument, complaining about their tips (gee I wonder why their tips are so bad?!), and I even heard the bartender saying «we have the worst service here hehe.» Seriously what kind of place is this that treats customers so horribly?! They managed to piss off visitors and locals.

The food was ok. Standard pub menu. Good beer selection.
Unfortunately, the servers were rude and the service was slow. When we talked to the staff about the slow service, they told us that there was a concert today and they they were unexpectedly busy. Excuses. Maybe they should pay attention to when concerts are being held?

I decided to take a road trip up to Roseland water park and came here for dinner and I am glad that I did! What a great place. The pulled pork was amazing and the other menu choices looked fantastic. Very reasonably priced and the staff and service was wonderful! Next time I take a trip out this way, I will come back here for sure!

A pleasant surprise! Brought out of town guests and all loved this place so much we went back another evening. Unique menu, delicious food, great service, and relaxed atmosphere make this a winner!

I went there on a Saturday night with a group. I ordered the Prime Rib special, what a mistake! I ordered it medium and couldn’t even cut through the slice it was so undercooked. Plus there was absolutely no flavor whatsoever. I sent it back to see if they could cook it a little longer. it looked like they just stuck it in the microwave. I couldn’t even chew it. I left it on the table. Let the waitress know that it was unsatisfactory, and was hoping the manager would come over to talk to me. That never happe
ned. I left feeling very dissapointed.

Not satisfied. Tried the Waldorf Salad with Chicken Salad on top. The chicken salad was shredded as if it came from a can, and the lettuce was wilted and rusted as if it has been kept several days after cutting. Plus the lettuce was wet. The dressing sounded good, piña colata but it was all oil, no flavor at all. All items sound good on the menu.

Love this place! Whether it’s just grabbing a drink with friends or dinner out I always have a great experience. I’m not a fan of beer but they almost always have my favorite hard cider on tap and the food is always good. They always have interesting specials and I’m usually a picky eater but I love to try their specials! We love it so much we go at least once a month but usually every other week. Can’t wait to go back!

Great little spot just off Main Street in Canadaigua. A large number of beers available and a lot of recommendations. Very extensive menu for food. Very friendly staff. Great specials, lots of TVs to watch games in the bar area if you want to do that. The wings were superb and the cheese covered fries were also amazing. Great spot and I definitely will be back.

Absolutely wonderful! Food and owners are amazing. Usually order the broiled haddock on Fridays and it is just fantastic. Have never had a bad meal here. Also a LARGE assortment of draft beer on tap for you beer drinkers!

Loved this place. We had so much fun at this location. The beer selection was awesome and from all over the region. Had a great meal as well. A great spot located off of the main strip of the town. Check it out next time you are in the area. It’s a great spot.

Yummy! Went with friends a few months back… while the sun was warm enough to sit outside. Funny enough, there were quite a few bees and we had a little one with us so we moved inside. The food was SO good! Can’t wait to return. Usually only head out towards Canandaigua in warmer months but I may make an exception soon. I’ll update review at that time since I can’t remember exactly what we ordered. I just remember leaving there feeling satisfied!

Fantastic food. They clearly take the time to get it right. I had the fried pickles and quesadilla with chicken. Both were fresh, not greasy at all. They have an extensive menu and also had close to 10 specials, all of which sounded good. I get the feeling whoever is cooking here really enjoys it.
I’m not a beer drinker so I’m leery of ordering red wine at a brew pub. But they had a very nice California dry red that was freshly opened.
Atmosphere was fun, clean, casual. Lots of big screens with multiple football games on. But it wasn’t too loud.

AWESOME craft beer selection. And a menu with just as good finds. Overall the place to go to if you are a beer advocate.

Went for lunch to see if we thought they had the BEST HAMBURGER in the Finger Lakes. When we got there on a Thursday around 12:30, there was only one other table… within the half hour, the entire outdoor seating area was full and only one waiter. So service wasn’t great. I ordered a beer, that came back half full due to the keg had to be changed. The sad thing, this never happened and they brought me a small glass of Bells and not the beer (Climbing Bines) I had ordered… which was awesome and I get Bells all the time :-/​
I ordered the seafood bisque and side salad with their homemade blue cheese dressing. The Bisque was very good. Enough seafood, not too thick, and not too many potatoes. The blue cheese dressing was a disappointment.
But the reason we had come was to try their Burger. Ordered the «Standard Burger» which is 8 0z, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, 1000 Island; pickle spear and homemade potato chips. I thought this one was the best of the 3 we had this week, so it gets my vote for the «Best Burger» in the Finger Lakes. My husband ranked this a very close, but nevertheless 2^nd place (Glen Pines in Cayuga Lake is first place.) The homemade chips, in his opinion were perfect — tasty, and crispy.
The pizza ordered by a nearby table looked very good. Round, and just a little bit thick crust — not too flat.

Stopped in here on the way down to Ithaca for a bite, and damn!
I had the burger and fries while my wife had the quesadilla. Best goddamned burger I’ve eaten in recent memory — which on face value is worthless until you factor in that I’m pretty much all about eating, and my food memory far exceeds my actual memory.
Five stars for the super friendly staff, and one million stars for that burger. I swear, if I was a bird, I’d feed that sucker to myself while my chicks starved. It was that good. Sorry chicks.
Even if you’re not into food, and prefer a liquid lunch, these guys have you covered as well. From IPAs to ales, to strong ales and wine. I’m not sure what their policy on drunks is, but I’d imagine it they’d prefer it if you weren’t an asshole. So, my recommendation?
Try the burger. It’s worth it

Stopped in for the first time tonight and had a very good experience. There was a pretty full crowd tonight but we still were able to walk over and sit at a table with no wait at all. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. One of the owners was tending bar and helped talking our food order as well. Very friendly, very knowledgeable, and she took the time to let us know of the kegs just tapped earlier today that weren’t not on the menu yet. We are definitely going back soon and will go over to the brewery tasting side for some samples of more brews.
With many new brew pubs opening these days, this is a SOLID choice, you won’t be disappointed.
Now we know what all the BUZZ is about… lol

After a hike in Naples, my mom and I made our way to Canandaigua to grab lunch. The main stipulation was that we wanted a place with a patio and beehive was the winning spot.
The bar/​restaurant is located next to Twisted Rail brewery. The bar is big and would be where I’d prefer to spend my visits. The restaurant is good for a family dinner or group outing.
We loved the patio, which was filled with sunshine the day of our visit. Most of the tables had umbrellas too which was good for me – I moved in and out of the sun every 10 minutes. #fairskinproblems
I started with the Bee Hoppy pint — $ 6.75 — brewed by CB Brewing Co. It was the perfect beer for the 75 degree day — just hoppy enough, with a nice floral finish to balance it out and not too strong either.
I started with a Caesar salad since I’ve been on a kick lately. The dressing was awesome — assuming it’s a homemade creamy dressing. Then, I had to have their Mac and cheese. It rotates daily… Gotta go back for more! You can get a side portion or a bowl (as seen by the photo it was a lot). Leftovers for both me and Willy to share. The Mac and cheese offered that day was buffalo chicken — they use their standard creamy cheddar sauce to coat the capellini noodles and mixed in diced buffalo chicken and bleu cheese crumbles. It was just enough heat and the a savory cheddar sauce — very well-​balanced flavors. I can’t wait to try their other options.
If you’re making a trek to C-​lake, this is a great stop on the way. Be sure to swing in to the brewery for a tasting too.

Sat down at bar. Bartender served guest who cam in after me. Everyone else got menus and specials of the day. I just sat there being overlooked. I guess if your not a regular your not treated the same. This is my second visit with the same left out experience.
Now I see how it works. After sitting at bar an hour, Any couple that came in was treated with food menus and specials. Any single person was treat like second class. I left an eat elsewhere. Won’t be back.
