Kim Cameron, Valencia, CA I stop at Gulen’s Mediterranean every time I go to the Topanga mall. The gyros are hands down the best Gyros I’ve ever had! Not something you would expect in a food court. The beef/lamb meat is really tender, and the pitas are really soft and moist. And the Tzatziki Sauce(cucumber-yogurt dip), to die for!!! Love this place!

Despite Westfield’s fancy remodeling of the eerily half-vacant Topanga Plaza, its sleek new food court doesn’t have much going for it. There are lots of great looking new eateries but nothing really tastes good. Well, what do you expect for a place populated entirely by teenagers testing out their fresh new breast implants they just got on their 16th birthday? This is no place for the educated palate. In this cursed plaza of mediocrity there stands one beacon of hope – Gulen’s. A fine spot for quick Mediterranean fare. I particularly like the Chicken Kabob plate. It’s fantastic. The Lamb Shank isn’t bad either – but it’s a little small. I wish you could double up for a fee.

Had their food few times. I usually order the chicken kabob. Waiting time for the food can take anywhere from 15 to 20 mins, since the chicken is grilled when your order it. Gotta say that everytime I go there, their chicken is savory, and juicy. Their hummus is the best I’ve ever had. Over all, service is friendly, good is great.

I had a falafel sandwich, and it was«okay». I’ve definitely had better. I asked for double-salad instead of salad & fries, which was fine, but the salad was absolutely bare… no dressing… pretty weird.

A heaping helping of sliced beef and lamb spilling out from a soft pita. Now that’s what I call a gyro. Gulen’s is one of the many quick-dining options in Westfield Topanga’s new food court, and like most of the other eateries(New York Deli, Chop Shop, Hana Grill) they have plastic-wrapped plates on display of their menu items. So you can actually see up close and in person what you’re going to get for the money. The gyro plate, served with fries and a salad, is $ 7.95 and I call that money well spent.
