Excellent first experience at Hayden’s while visiting family in Michigan. Sharrine made that possible — went over the top with accommodating friendly service. Because of her(and the food!) we’ll be back! Reco spicy shrimp sub on the fish tacos — delicious!

Food: 4.5 stars Service: 1 star I’ve been in the service industry for over 10 years. With that experience, I’m always the first person to defend poor service, especially if the restaurant is busy. I have been here on two separate occasions, once for a work lunch and another for dinner. Both times, the service has been slow, and I’ve felt like I was inconveniencing my server, merely by being sat in their section. The most recent experience, for dinner, we walked in and it took the hostess 30 seconds after seeing us to stop her conversation with her coworker. She seats us at a booth in the bar section. The drink service is a bit slow, but whatever. We order apps. Our girl apparently then took a smoke break with the bartender, as about 15 min later, us with our incorrect food, I see her come in from outside, pull her keys and cigarettes out of her pocket, and proceed to not come see if everything is OK for another 2 – 3 minutes. We were obviously not touching our food, and since no other staff member had come to check on us, we had to wait for her. I doubt I’ll ever go back, which is sad, because their good really is great. Nice work, back of the house! Now if only your FOH staff can pick up the slack.

Can you say, THEBESTPASTAEVER!!! I flew in from DC today and decided to go to THE best restaurant(according to Trip Advisor). Since my hotel is in Canton, I ended up here. I could KISS whoever ranked it #1!!! I walked in the door and was immediately and warmly greeted. I was offered my choice of seating typr/location and my waitress, Jenna, greeted me quickly!!! I asked for her suggestion of the best non-seafood meal. Her recommendation, which I took, was the Cajun Chicken pasta… It was perfect! The noodles — perfectly al dente. The chicken — not only was the portion within the dish proportionate, it was cut into the perfect bite-sized pieces!!! The sauce — LAWDHAVEMERCY!!! It was flavorful, the right«weight», and had just the right amount of heat to it. The bread — I wasn’t a fan — not because it was bad, I just preferred a SOFT, cheesy bread. The service was EXCELLENT. After Jenna offered her suggestion, which I took, she then followed up to ensure I was satisfied with it. She refilled my drink and brought a to go container without being prompted… ATTENTIVE!!! And my food was delivered lickety split!!! I strongly recommend this restaurant and dish!!!

I have been here several times and each time I hope it gets better and it doesn’t. Overpriced under flavored bar food. Honestly I just think it wasn’t that great.

Pretty weak. Was good a year ago, but now TA nasty. Smells like rat urine when you walk in early evening before all the fans have had a chance to clear it out. Food was ugly. Chicken park was a chunk of Lees Fried Chicken on a bed of pasta with a slice of cheese on it. Oily hand smudges all over Windows and frosted glass. We came to celebrate… Now I’m celebrating leaving.

Stopped here from out of town to watch a game at the bar. Started with the combo app platter with jalapeño dip and bruschetta. Jalapeño dip was ok – though it was basically floating in butter. Bruschetta was almost inedible. Bread was so soggy you couldn’t even pick them up. Service at the bar was so slow that with the combo of bad apps and being ignored we left and ordered a pizza instead.

I LOVE their fried pickles… The rewards program is easy to enroll in and they are very helpful in providing you with points status and available rewards… The atmosphere is cozy and modern, a nice night out with that special someone or with friends.

It is a nice dine in restaurant. Ample space to sit. Coming to the food we ordered Shrimp, crab cake and Bruschetta from the combination platter(which is basically small size appetizers). Keep in mind if your a large group this might not be a good option as the portions are small(3 crab cake’s and 3 mini bruschetta). They were OK. For the main course I tried the Grilled salmon with thai sweet and sour sauce. The salmon was perfectly cooked but lacked flavor. For the desserts we ordered Deep fried Oreo, OMG Chocolate Layer Cake and the Hot Brownie fudge sundae. The deep fried oreo were soft not cruchy enough, the other two were OK. The service was decent. If you are looking for a decent dine in, you could try this place once.

First off, those people who give this place a bad review, I’d like to know where you eat. They have THE best food in Canton. I am hoping to try everything on the menu, but I am sort of hooked on the sesame crusted salmon. I have never had a bad meal here, and the service is excellent, but on Friday or Saturday night, it’s gonna be slower. I couldn’t care less about the décor, it is the food that I care about, Apps are good, so are the drinks. If you join their rewards club, you get extra deals. 3 more words, sweet potato fries, get them.

It’s been a while since I’ve been here. The last two times I was less than impressed with the place. I would have probably have given them 2 stars. Today I went in for lunch. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. It was OK, but nothing special. It could have used more and better barbecue sauce on the meat. I will give them credit for really great seasoned fries. They were crisp on the outside, and warm and tender on the inside. The place seems to be decorated as upscale, but doesn’t have the food to match. It’s kind of expensive for food which is merely average. The service was good, but it wasn’t crowded when I was there. I might give them another shot some day, but probably not for a while.

4.5 stars My aunt gave me a gift card, so I took my mom out for lunch, right after they opened. Service was great, our server and the hostess were very pleasant. The décor surprised me; for a place called a «grill and bar» it seemed pretty fancy(I am a simple woman). I’d love to come back in the evening and see how everything looks. I got the 2 piece fish and chips and my mom got the bacon cheddar burger with grilled onions(.99 cents extra). The fish was tasty, light and fried well. I prefer my fried fish to be a little crispier, but this was still really good. The seasoned fries were great, and while I didn’t eat the cole slaw, my mom did and she said it was good and tasted homemade. I wasn’t crazy about the chipotle tartar sauce. My mom really enjoyed her burger and fries. Asking for your meat cooked well seems to be a no-no with most people, but does my mom care? Nope. Her burger was cooked well and she was happy. I was too full to try dessert, but the fried oreos sound great. The cocktails sounded wonderful, so I’ll definitely be back.

It has been at least three years since I have been here. Today at lunch we had a turkey Rueben, ultimate Mac n cheese w chicken, potato soup tomato basil soup and the deep fried Oreo sundae. Very slow lunch hour arriving just after noon. Took about 5 minutes for server to get to our table. I don’t remember her name and she was technically sound in her job but had no personality and did what I dislike the most. Placed the check on the table when we were half way through our lunch. Manager in charge surfaced a couple of times to the floor, once for a lengthy phone conversation. On the expensive side for lunch which could be cause of lack of guests. Lunch entrees and the soups were solid but we weren’t impressed with the dessert. I would say don’t mess with the Oreos

This is another one of those Meh places IMO. It will do in a pinch but, I wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way to eat here. At first glance the place appears to be falling apart and could use a good top to bottom cleaning. The carpet is dirty and their fake aluminum trim is hanging on by a thread. We stopped in for lunch and had their potato soup, a bufffalo avocado chicken wrap and the cajun chicken pasta. While it was all edible, nothing was really good if I’m being honest. The soup was good but it was cold. Cold soup sucks! The chicken wrap was loaded with filler and had one buffalo chicken tender in it and one slice of avocado. For $ 10 this was a piss poor sandwich IMO. Definitely stay away from this! The cajun chicken pasta probably would of been decent if it was made by someone who tasted the food they were sending out. I think they put a quarter cup of cajun seasoning into this single serving. It was so freaking hot it almost wasn’t edible. And I like hot shit! So anyway, like I said — another Meh type place. I might give them another try in the future but it won’t be my first choice when looking for a place to eat on the Ford Rd. corridor.

Each and every time I come to Hayden’s I have a fantastic experience. The martinis are little sweet and a little light on the alcohol side, but that’s what shots and beer are for! Lol. I’ve had stuff all over the menu and I love everything I’ve ever had here. It’s location in front of the Emagine movie theater is grand, the building and interior is also very awesome. Their rewards program is great too!

Great food. Great martinis. Our waiter was attentive. Will definitely be returning. 4 stars because our order was incorrect and my meal was not hot enough.

I finally made the effort to check this place out and was pleasantly surprised. The vibe inside is much different than I expected. It seems like a sports bar trapped in the body of a proper restaurant. Its a place that would feel comfortable for both a beer after work, or a proper meal. I really like having the ample collection of TV’s around, without feeling like I am at an Applebees or the like. I got the veggie burger and fries when I went last time. It was amazing. They clearly make it in-house, which is a vast improvement over the usual reheating of a morningstar patty that most places do. The food was good, portions were above average, and the price was absolutely reasonable. Would recommend.

Every time we go to Haydens, we have amazing food! I have never had a bad meal there. You can be dressy or casual, burger or osso bucco. It’s always great. Our server Daniel was super funny and friendly. Went out of his way to make us feel welcome, and never skipped a beat refreshing our drinks. Thanks Hayden’s for another fantastic meal.

I want to like this place, I want this place to like itself. The exterior is modern, brick with large windows. Interior has high ceilings with exposed ductwork. Brick walls, frosted glass(shows greasy finger stains) airy feeling. This is almost all the compliments I have. Last compliment is I love the fried pickles with chipotle ranch. They’re not greasy and are packed with flavor. So, it’s dirty. They neglect themselves. Our wood table was kinda sticky and my flip flops that night were more like stick flops. The menu is like a chain restaurant. No specials of the day. We ordered a trio appetizer with tempura shrimp, coconut shrimp and fried pickles. We got four each of the shrimp. Coconut shrimp had a raspberry sauce that was very sweet. Tempura had a soy drizzle already on it. Both were good. Husband ordered Mac and cheese. This was dry pasta with bacon and rubbery parm on top. Tasted like it came out of a microwave. I ordered the calamari fries but sent them back. I think they’re frozen and tasted like burnt oil. This place could be great. Cleaner, up scaled menu and it’d be a place I’d like to go to more often.

Hayden’s is easily accessed from just east of 275, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere with full bar and very comfortable dining. The décor is beautiful! As an appetizer, the Bang, Bang shrimp is a must!!! Just enough spice and a generous portion for sharing. The extensive drink menu includes the $ 4.99 martini; so may choices like the Purple Popsickle which tastes like — a grape Popsickle of course! I also tried the Lemon which was very tasty! They have a 2/$ 10.99 Walking Taco menu. My first try at fish tacos was great; A burst of flavors with a small thin piece of fish. The Bang Bang Shrimp taco was delish!!! My friend ordered the Whitefish which was a very generous, well seasoned portion. It is always a pleasure to have options that are flavorful and presented well! We enjoyed the food and atmosphere very much. Our waiter was friendly, quick and attentive!!!

I went to Hayden’s on Saturday at 6:00 pm with five of my girlfriends. They do not take reservations so it took about 45 minutes before we were seated. The atmosphere was nice and service in the bar was great while we were waiting. Hayden’s has a variety of interesting menu selections. The table was clean although the condiments(salt, pepper, etc) need to be regular wiped down. They were dirty. I started with the fried mozzarella balls appetizer. It took some time to come out and was disappointed that they arrived cold. I was starving so I ate them anyway. I’m sure they would have tasted much better served hot. The presentation was nice. For dinner I had a simple bacon cheddar burger. Again, I was disappointed that the burger arrived barely Luke warm. The fries were cold and the meal looked like it had been sitting out for some time. It tasted just okay. The service was average. It took some time for him to return to take our order and not once did he come back to ask how everything was. Would I return? I think I «might» give them another chance.
