O.M.G. I can not stop thinking about my dinner. The melt-in-your-mouth cornbreads with cinnamon butter, the spicy remoulade, the secret ingredient coleslaw. We will be back. I’d love to see a vegetarian entrée on the menu. PS Watch out if you are navigating with your iphone GPS — it’ll take you a mile in the wrong direction.

The food was great I got the Waterfall burger which with bacon with French fries, the burger and fries were pretty good. But the servers were lacking I was there with my family and celebrating a birthday and we got to sit outside which is a nice patio they I’m sure is very popular during nice fall nights. We had some children with us and it took them twenty minutes to bring the kid me is because they didn’t realize that the children menus weren’t out. We also had to wait over 10 min for our drinks and the place wasn’t even busy yet, apparently our sever was busy mopping up a overflowed bathroom. But when the food came out it didn’t come out all at once it came in intervals and the kids were served last!

Four stars for the food since the lobster omelette was pretty delish. I just wish the potatoes were a bit crispier. Two the stars for the personality. Our service was not as warm as it could have been.

Four stars for the food/Two stars for the personality The restaurant is very nice and features a banquet area as well. It is definitely a «bar and grille» environment, as depicted in the name. My wife, 2-year old son and I were greeted by a friendly hostess. Our server was nice, but it was kind of like she was being nice because she had to be, not because she really wanted to be. Look, I don’t expect every person to go crazy over my child, but most people actually show a little excitement and at least greet children at most other places that we visit. It was like these people were just not excited to be at work. Moving on to the food… once it finally arrived, it was delicious. Everything was hot and fresh. Kudos to the chef. We were the only table seated in the restaurant and there were two tables outside. It took quite a long time for our food to arrive, and when it did, it was missing the pancake for our son. Thankfully the hostess(who was actually very caring) went and reminded our server. Our server then came to the table and told us she thought she served it to another table. We then proceeded to wait another 5 – 10 minutes for the pancake, sharing our meals with our son. It would have been nice if she had taken the $ 2 pancake off of our bill, since it didn’t come until toward the end of the meal, but she didn’t. Because she likely didn’t care. But back to the food, the lobster omelette and frittata were fantastic. After we left, we thought«maybe we are overthinking this» about the service. Then we walked into Giovanni’s ice cream shop down the street, where we were greeted by the woman working there(and her friend, who did not even work there) like we were their best friends. It was nice to walk into a place with some life and happy service! Overall, this is a nice place for a bite to eat and some drinks. But I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to get here. If the personality and service matched the quality of the food, this would’ve been a five star review. P. S.: On a positive note, our server did write«Happy Birthday!» on our receipt(we were celebrating my wife’s birthday, which I indicated on my Open Table reservation).

So happy we found this neighborhood spot! I had literally the best turkey burger of my life last night. Fresh, flavorful, and nice and juicy. My boyfriend had the Waterfall burger which was cooked perfectly and also great. Someone next to us was eating the meatball sub and we were pretty jealous! Great drinks and very friendly and prompt service. Can’t wait to go back!!!

loved our meals. Arugala salad was excellent. Fish and chips just right. Country fried chicken sandwich was a special and it was delicious. Great atmosphere on the deck. Will be coming back.

First visited Waterfall for the free tasting held to introduce patrons to the new chef. The food was stellar, the wait staff was nice. Came back a few days later for father’s day. The place was empty — perfect for us because we brought our 9-month old– so there wasn’t much atmosphere. However, the food was five stars. We ordered the Chef Shelton chicken wings to start which were packed with flavor. Our favorite is the herb-citrus. For main course, I ordered the salmon special(I posted a pic) which I really hope they make a permanent fixture on their menu and my husband ordered the seafood risotto which tasted just as good, if not better, than at the tasting. The presentation of all dishes was superb. Finally for dessert, we ordered two helpings of the bread pudding. Fantastic meal, fantastic wait service. I will be back very soon and often.

Heard it was renovated and under new management with a new executive chef… well i say good move. The place looked great. Had an awesome crowd of post work professionals crowding up the place. Wait staff is a little novice, but still worth a good tip. Food delicious is with great portion sizes. Finger-licked good!

Enjoying the night on the patio with a delicious cocktail and some great new menu options. Specifically the fish and chips and the baked citrus wings. Delicious.

This is my third visit to Waterfall and I enjoyed my meals on the previous two occasions immensely. However, they changed the menu and while I appreciate the management has to change things that aren’t working, this will probably be my last visit. First, at 12:30 I was handed a «dinner menu» and when I asked for the lunch menu, I was told, this is it. So the entrees became quite expensive. My son ordered steak tips $ 17 bucks for lunch, not right. I ordered a medium rare burger and came well done. I should probably rate this higher because the service is so good. I’ve now had three different people wait on me and I couldn’t have asked for better service. Still, the quality of the food and the price is what the dining experience is all about. Lunch today was a solid 1 star

As much as I trust The Algorithm, and Stoppleman and the Boyz, I have been leery of businesses that seem to have a relationship with San Francisco before they even open. I put alot of time into«The Hobby», and it is of the utmost importance to me that everything is on the level. So, a certain coal fired place near me came out of the gate like that, and seems to have many suspicious Unilocal, which made me wonder if San Francisco was playing fast and loose with TOS if one was an advertiser or not. This place, Waterfall, is listed as a «Hot New Business» so my Spidey senses were tingling, that the high average was not Legit. As you might know, Unilocal Inc is not now and has never been profitable. I want them to be. I want them to be able to keep us crowd source honest reviewers and generate a profit. So, I am pleased to announce, that despite the fact that this place seems to have some sort of relationship with Unilocal,it rocks. LOCATION /AMBIENCE:(These words were typed Caps, I hope the software doesn’t nerf it, it makes me like like an Idiot) 4.5STARS Next to a pretty Pond. Square plates, linen napkins, lots of windows. Private lot off Washington St. SERVICE: 5STARS Tina was flawless and easy on the eyes. APP; IRISHSUSHI: 4.25STARS Cabbage wrapped around corned beef and Dijon. ENTREE, PARMENCRUSTEDCHICKEN: 4STARS Mine. Presented like from a more expensive place. Good pasta. Good sauce. ENTREE, SHEPARD’S PIE: 4STARS GrandMa, who if she has her own Unilocal account would be all 2s and 1s, said it was just OK, but almost licked the plate how little was left. DRAFTS: 2.75STARS Not too many Taps, but they don’t claim to be a beer joint. VALUE: 4.5STARS The entrees were quite good for the price, especially considering that the place is nice looking. Ten dollar Chicken parm is one thing at a Pub sort of place, it is more impressive at a place like this which takes itself more seriously. Will definitely come back, and hoping that our experience was not some sort of anomaly, would enthusiastically recommend.

I fear without some rapid intervention in their operations these folks time in business will be limited. Atmosphere: We went there to watch the Pat’s game. Who ever sets the TV’s must either be hard of hearing or they buy into loud makes people drink /eat faster. The TVs are so loud it was uncomfortable to sit at the bar. The volume was deafening. The overall atmosphere is pub like but more modern than I expected. C Service: The first bartender we had was sharp. The second one seemed completely confused. 1st One A /Second One B Drinks: They pour a solid scotch but when a tap beer arrived it was flat. Sorry folks but getting your beer taps right is simply a basic expectation. B /B– Food: Their home made chips are killer. Their nachos are abysmal. Chips with pre-shredded packaged cheese mounted on a plate. Once past the first layer of chips the rest were stone cold. F Parking: Available B+ Overall while their menu is promising their execution is sub-par.

Went here on Saturday night. The place was very busy, but we managed to find seats at the bar. The place is beautiful inside! Classy looking pub with a cool, relaxed feel. Once we sat down, the bartenders were being very attentive despite having so many customers. We had a couple cocktails and dinner. It was all pretty amazing. The cocktails are unique and delicious. My friend and I tried three different cocktails and they were all tasty. The White Cran Cosmo was definitely my favorite! The food menu had a good variety of old favorites plus Irish twists on American classics. I ended up getting hamburger sliders that had mashed potatoes in the slider. SO good! I have to go back though because there were so many other items I wanted to try… Potato skin pizza, Guinness shepherds pie, Sweet Potato fries, etc! Overall, this place was great and I already recommended it to everyone I know! The two people who wrote bad reviews are CRAZY and need to go back, give it another shot, and change their rating. Go check this place out!

Went here expecting to go to Centerfields but found from the bartender that Waterfall has been there for the last month. There weren’t too many people there, just s few at the bar. I was a little nervous what we were getting into going to see the Pats/Dolphins game. Nice Surprise. The bartender was attentive and helpful. She made recommendations on Appetizers to snack on during the game. And yes there are TV’s around the bar to watch the game on. We had the loaded nachos with chili. very good and a large portion. Also burger sliders with onion rings, very tasty. I’d like to go back and have their full sized burger. Good drinks, and very good service made the Pats win all the more better. The nice atmosphere, relaxing, makes Waterfall all the more promising for return visits. 4 stars for now. I’m pretty fussy. I’ll upgrade my rating if they stay consistent.

After an extremely long day at work I wanted to try a new place and since I was in Canton I thought why not try waterfall after reading the nice Unilocal reviews. Not the best parking situation since the parking lot was located in what looked like an apartment complex but no biggie. Went at sat myself at the bar. Menu looked interesting and the place looked nice so it was promising at first. Bartender was friendly but seemed a tad frazzled but I couldn’t blame her. From what I saw the tap beer that she was pouring from didnt seem to work well and just kept foaming, the manager was jumping in and grabbing drinks which seemed to disturb her flow, and there were extra steps to everything she did. She was much busier than she should’ve been for the amount of people that were at the bar and in the restaurant. So for the food. I ordered Irish sushi… corn beef with mashed potatoes wrapped in steamed cabbage. seemed interesting but for the price I got two tiny rolls with mostly mashed potatoes and nothing else. It lacked any kind of flavor and was bland bland bland not to mention cold cold cold. The 3 pieces of greens that lay in the middle was sad and wilted. I also ordered the bolognese served on rigatoni. As soon as it came out I tasted it and it was stone cold. Also tasted mostly like red wine. The sauce was certainly not reduced enough but was OK. When the manager asked how I liked it I told her the truth. It was OK but cold. She asked if I ate the appetizer first and perhaps that’s how it got cold. I informed her that I tried it when it came out and it was already cold. The chiffonade basil leaves were also sad, wilted, brown. She kindly offered to have to kitchen warm it up but I declined. At that point I was already upset that the tiny portion of my $ 16 bolognese was a disappointment the two tiny pieces of toasts that the bartender brought out were hard as a rock… I almost laughed but ate it anyways. I just swallowed it down and still felt hungry so I decided to order sweet potato fries. These were good. Nice and hot not shriveled up. It was interesting that they sprinkled sugar on top of already sweet fries. Couldn’t say I loved that but it was ok with ketchup. I asked for my check and I believed the bartender heard me while she was trying to work out a problem with punching in bottle bud light instead of draft for a different customer with the manager… so I waited… and waited… and waited… I would think since I don’t drink alcohol and my soda was done… my food was done… maybe she would give it to me even if she did not hear the request? Nope. So I asked again. Left her a very nice tip since it was dead and I could tell that she was working hard despite my experience. So…no follow up with the manager before I left which I thought is pretty careless. Since I am a single person sitting at the bar. not drinking alcohol and still spent $ 36 on dinner. Maybe she should’ve cared a little and made sure the rest of my experience went well? Nope. So…all in all. Great potential. Not great results. Hope to come back one day to better food since honestly that’s what I care about the most. Sorry I couldn’t give you guys a better review.

I’m fairly new to town and have made it my goal to try all the bar and grills in town. The wait staff/bartenders were very friendly. The burger was seasoned well. The other occupants all seem to know each other, so this must be a good place for the locals to meet up. The jury is still out if I’ll call this my watering hole but I’ll definitely be in again.

To say I was excited that this place was opening would be an understatement — when I first moved here I was thrilled to see a cute restaurant in the center of town with a patio, but when I found out it was closed, I was devastated. Enter Waterfall… Dined with the husband on Waterfall’s second night open. I only found out that it was open from looking them up on Facebook — kinda surprised it wasn’t advertised more(I am too new to Canton to be a part of the townie gossip club, I suppose). Anyway, plenty of parking, and no wait. Started with the calamari, and the lemon aioli was really, really good. I had the pesto chicken sandwich, which was tasty. Kicking myself for not getting the paramesan chicken(next time, for sure!). Husband had the steak tips, and he was thrilled that they were cooked EXACTLY how he liked them. That’s seriously high praise from him. Waterfall also has a gluten-friendly menu, but our server informed us that it hasn’t been printed yet, but we could definitely get lots of things made gluten-free. I look forward to bringing my celiac family member here. After dinner, we were incredibly full, but if I had any bit of room left, I would have loved to try the peanut butter pie. I’m coming for you, peanut butter pie! I love that this place has an outdoor patio on the«water». I did not like that I saw several guests smoking out on this patio. Sure, it’s not patio dining season, so it doesn’t impact diners now, however I sincerely hope that once the patio is opened to diners that there will be NO smoking out there. I’ll patiently wait until spring, and look forward to enjoying a nice margarita outside with some friends(and hopefully no smoke fumes blowing my way). Seems like after a year and a half or so of living in Canton, I may have finally found my «spot»!!! More to follow…
