This place benefits from a serious lack of competition. My overpriced pedicure was hastily done — I came out looking like I had just slapped a few coats of polish on the nails myself. Forget about any real attention to the heels or soles. Polish selection is good, but who cares about that when the pedicure itself sucks? The service was friendly and there was an adorable guy working the counter, but $ 33 for a pedicure only marginally(if at all) better than what I could do myself is not really acceptable. If there were another nail salon close to the beach, I’d drop this place like a bad habit.

Hale Nails is great! They took an off-season request and opened up on a Thursday in early May to do manicures and pedicures for my family and friends right before my wedding. They have 4 spa stations with massage chairs so you can really relax while getting your pedicure. They were kind and courteous and even nice enough to withstand our silly/distracting storytelling when we took over the salon. The only improvement would be to have a greater variety of nail polish colors or a more pulled-together display of the polishes – the main display was hidden in the back, which we didn’t notice until we’d picked out our colors from the small displays scattered in the front of the salon. And of course eco-friendly(low VOC) polishes would be the next step. Overall, they were efficient, flexible, and accommodating, with very reasonable prices. Oh, and my pedicure has lasted nearly one month!
