Massage was Late October 2014. I was down CM overnight and I nearly crawled in with back issues that had been plaguing me for weeks. I seriously could only walk 70% upright when I entered. I am no stranger to massages so I can say this was one of the best massages ever because I was walking straight when I left. They determined I should have a gentle therapeutic one. She also employed what seemed to me to be some Physical Therapy elements with bending and stretching my legs to relieve the sciatica. It it appeared she had some training in the PT area. Or maybe she was just great? Sadly, I have forgotten her name but I know when I call to schedule for my return for a planned weekend in December they will remember and assign her to me. She and the place were incredible

Great experience. The people were great, the massage was awesome, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more.

No joke, the best massage I have ever had and I am no stranger to massages. Came here for a much-needed non-prenatal massage after having my baby 2.5 months ago. I booked my appointment effortlessly online for a 90-minute well-being massage 2 days before for $ 145 Katie was my therapist and she was awesome. She had continuous deep but not too deep pressure the entire 90 minutes. They do use an oil during your treatment but you are given a hot moist towel to wipe off afterwards. I told my husband that I will be going back every summer we come down to this area. If you’re looking for a spa-like experience with an often times mediocre massage this is not the place for you. The center is located in an old-house with creaky floors and treatment rooms which may deter some. However, If you’re looking for a great massage and do not mind the lack of frills then this is the place for you. I wish I lived in Cape May year-round. If i did, I would most definitely get a treatment here once a month!

Outstanding service and amazing massage from Amanda. Deep tissue massage was the best I’ve had in years. And not the first. The location is small and not a fancy spa atmosphere but it is exactly what I wanted in Cape May. Love this town and this is the perfect privately-owned massage and wellness center for a great body treatment.

Pros: I contacted the spa hoping I could be squeezed in that day, and I was. Prices were not unreasonable Con: The owner of the spa provided my massage. While I will not go into details about what happened three quarters of the way through the massage, suffice it to say that I would not recommend the spa. I would have thought that if someone has been in this business for 20+ Years, as the owner claims to have been, that he would be committed to making sure that professional boundaries are maintained.

Hands down best massage I have ever had. Katie was my therapist and in one hour she did what it often takes an hour and a half for others. I have a massage every six months to work out terrible knots I get in my upper back from stress. And this time I had extreme lower back and hip pain so bad I could barely get out of my car! Got the deep tissue massage and I feel like a new person. In just an hour she worked my back, legs, feet, hands, arms, everything! And the price was just right. Even liked her music. Better than that stupid ethereal stuff you get at other places. Thank you Katie! I can now enjoy the rest of my vacation pain free! I only wish this place was closer to home.

I had a great massage with Martha. I went to see her for neck pain and she knew exactly what to do for a therapeutic yet relaxing massage. It’s in a quaint relaxing room upstairs. She is one of the owners and they are both really sweet.

I had a massage here over the summer. It isn’t as high-end as other spas in Cape May but the focus here is more on the massage therapy. I think Drew was my thearpist. He was very throughout with getting to the root of my back/neck problems. After some questions he began work on my back neck and arms, then worked his way down to my legs and feet. Then he also had me face up and worked on my shoulder and neck. I have never had that done before in a massage and actually it makes whole lot of sense! The muscles on the front facing part of your neck and shoulders are where you carry stress. Drew also was able to pinpoint why I have such bad back/neck issues. I have seen chiropractors and other massage therapists and they all just tell me my neck and shoulders are stiff from stress. While, yes that is a contributor, Drew was able to figure out underlying muscle issues. I do not live in Cape May full-time anymore so I am not a regular customer. But if you do live in Cape May year-round they offer very nice specials.

Wow. I had a deep-tissue massage with Martha and was not disappointed in the least bit. To start off, Martha commences the massage face-up and REALLY works the shoulders, arms and neck — the primary carriers of stress. As she moved on to my legs, I didn’t thinks things could get much better but… it did! When I flipped over and on to my back, Martha worked out all the kinks and knots. All in all, a decadently delicious massage. And the price cannot be beat! Book Martha and see precisely what I mean.

It was OK, but I think I was expecting more. My massage therapist was Drew, who was very nice but I felt that the massage itself was not relaxing or smooth. Usually most massages I’ve had, start out with the head facing down and working on the neck/shoulders and lower back. This one started with me facing front and more time spent on arms and legs. Granted I also need work in those places, especially since I had injured my arm a few years ago, but I was expecting equal concentration on the shoulders/neck and lower back. I selected the Lava Stone Massage: «Lava Stone The Stone is the penetrating heat of smooth river rocks working out tension locked in limbs & back. The Lava is heated volcanic ash-packed compresses on neck & back loosening tightness for a deeper massage. All together now… aaah!» I didn’t think that the heat that was used was comparable to description and I’ve had hot stone massages which were more effective. I can only rate and compare this massage to other massages I’ve had in the past, which left me feeling more relaxed and with less discomfort.
