The clam chowder was succulent, flavorful and full of plump, meaty clams. We each had the Kale Caesar salad and enjoyed it immensely. B ordered the short ribs bolognese and described it as intense and complicated. My experience with the carbonara was similar. Our only complaint is that the dining room is small, crowded and dark. I knew a bit more about the party at the next table than I wanted.

Stopped in for lunch and were very pleased. They are a BYOB restaurant and we would definitely bring a bottle of wine for dinner. The mushroom risotto and House Burger were prepared to perfection and our server was excellent. they had a bustling lunch crowd so I can only imagine dinner was the same. Definitely will be back.

Excellent chowder, mac and cheese and love the fish fish! They also make a great kale salad. Hubbie always goes for crab cakes or fish too Delish desserts but too full this time! Byob or buy an expensive local CM wine here! Great lunch or dinner stop!

Another great meal. I tried the NE Clam Chowder. Excellent. Beef filet for dinner. Very tender and tasty. Sauce was loaded with flavor. I will be back again.

What an amazing meal. Worth every penny. I had the Thai Salmon served on a bed of red potato and Brussel sprouts. My wife had the pork Dijon . Pumpkin cheese cake was a must have. Wonderful atmosphere and very good service. BYOB is a real plus. Will return for dinner on our next trip to Cape May.

I have been dining there multiple times over the years when on the Beach. Always for spectacular dinners. This time I went for lunch & it sucked! Food took too long, was cold upon arrival. Waitress was young and clueless! No ice tea refills — waited ages for H20. Going back for dinner again, but never for lunch! For a long

Very good food with a casual atmosphere. We ate at the restaurant for my birthday celebration and brought our furbaby along. We were able to sit in the back patio which was a lot more calm and relaxed than the front patio. Waitresses were nice and didn’t mind Daenerys laying down in be middle of the walkway. Scallop risotto and lobster bisque is everything the other reviews say, YUM. I was starting to regret not having the scallops as an app when the salmon in Thai chilli sauce came out. Cooked well and I love thai chilli sauce. We also got the crab cake special with shrimp and lump crab meat. Again good but smaller than I expected. I would def go back the next time I am in town.

Tisha’s is a regular for my family since it opened. We never had a bad meal until last night, not sure if there’s an issue in the kitchen but hopefully they correct what’s coming out. My wife had to send her dinner back because it’s was un-edible. The waitress who was amazing said its not the first time so it looks like the food quality might be dipping. I hope to try again soon but I hope things change. The reason for the three stars is because of all the great meals in the past, otherwise it would have been 2

Ohhhhhmygosh. Where do I even start? My dinner at Tisha’s was hands down one of the greatest dining experiences that I’ve ever had. Mouthwatering food combined with outdoor patio seating and BYOB? :drooling: Albeit a bit pricey, everything that you’ll order here is outstanding. They also have BYOB with no corkage fee, so you really can’t go wrong. We started off with the lobster bisque and an appetizer portion of seared scallops and risotto. The lobster bisque was creamy, salty and had a heaping portion of lobster chunks. I could have probably bathed in this stuff. The petit scallop portion paired well as a starter, and two scallops each with a few forkfuls of flavorful mushroom risotto was the perfect precursor to the meal. Because of the seafood start, I decided to go with meat as my main. Veal stuffed with prosciutto, spinach and fontina cheese? Done and done. The mashed potatoes underneath meshed perfectly with the sauce and I liked how there was a generous portion of meat and not too much starch. The bf ordered some sort of crab cake and shrimp combo. It was kind of unrecognizable because of all the sauce but whatever it was, it tasted reallllll good and had a ton of shrimp and crab meat. Two apps and two entrees ran us about 100 dollars for two, but for a hearty meat and seafood meal in a touristy town it was nowhere near surprising. Prepare to leave in a food coma, Tisha’s is well worth it.

We ate here last night on a Friday with 7pm reservations. We were seated immediately and had a nice table for 2 in the front. Our server, Sara, greeted us and gave us menus and the list of specials. For appys I ordered the lobster risotto. It was a flavorful dish with nice pieces of lobster. However, the rice was significantly overcooked and although I will enjoy the leftovers, I would not order it again. My bf got the clam chowder, which he loved. It was very good but had an occasional bite with grit. For dinner the Thai salmon was excellent, served over yummy potatoes and green beans with two huge shrimp which were well cooked. My bf opted for the filet which was a bit tough and required some effort to cut. The sides were the same, but the crispy onions on top were soggy. We chose to split the warm apple pie sundae a la mode served in an ice cream bowl. It was great and really hit the spot. Overall, dinner was very good with excellent service. It helps that it is a byob to keep the price down. Would like to return for breakfast or lunch whose items sound appetizing.

My in laws are in town so we dropped by Tisha’s for brunch after Sunday mass at Our Lady Star of the Sea. We arrived around noon and the restaurant only had a few tables. We opted to sit outside on the back patio which was warmer. The restaurant is clean with plenty of seating inside and out. They only have 2 restrooms which caused a little line for the ladies waiting. Staff and service was friendly and prompt. For lunch we ordered: Fried oyster po-boy w/side salad — this sandwich was delicious! There were 2 large and plump oysters that were perfectly fried and crispy. The bun was soft and warm. They didn’t use the traditional french bread for poboys, but that’s okay because I’m a fan of any buttery, soft, and toasted bun(almost brioche-like, my fave!). The sauce and pickles provided a nice tang which balanced the fattiness of the fried oysters perfectly. The balsamic vinaigrette that came with the mixed greens salad was seasoned well. Ask for the dressing on the side to avoid overdressing of your greens. I highly recommend this sandwich! Crab cake tacos — my hubby LOVED this dish. I didn’t care for the fishy-crabbiness smell and taste of this taco, but it could be due to my increased sense of taste and smell from being pregnant. My MIL enjoyed this taco as well so it must be yummy. The fries weren’t that crispy which was a disappointment. Buffalo chicken wrap w/side salad — my FIL wasn’t too impressed with this wrap. I tasted it and thought it was tasty. Good amount of crispy chicken and it interestingly had hard boiled eggs, too. We did a few adjustments by subbing the bleu cheese dressing for ranch instead. Nothing spectacular, just a crispy chicken wrap. Scallops w/risotto(small plate) — my MIL raved about this dish. It came with 4 sizable scallops that were perfectly seared. The risotto was light and had shiitake mushrooms and spinach. A good choice for a light lunch item. Overall, this was a nice spot for brunch/lunch especially for al fresco dining. We would definitely come back to visit, but only after we’ve tried the many many restaurants Cape May and South Jersey has to offer.

From the moment we sat down our server seemed overmatched and annoyed. She wouldn’t touch the wine we brought because it was in a paper bag, than when we took the bag off she seemed annoyed she had to throw the bag out. We sat for 20 minutes after that, knowing what we wanted… Starving, just waiting to order. Finally her miserable mug came around to take our order and every little request we made seemed to be greeted with resistance. Ok fine. Just bring us some bread. We literally got two of the smallest dinner roles you may ever see…2. You just don’t do that to a pregnant woman and a hungry man. The food was ok but not worth the price. The menu left us choosing items that we really were just settling with. Our server was not very nice and seemed overwhelmed for a Saturday in May. Hate to see what happens to her in July. This place is below average, spend your money elsewhere.
