The owner is one of the rudest people I have ever meet. Every time I go in there I’m charged a different price for my bagel. I think that is ridiculous. I was charged $ 4.89 for a bagel today with extra cream cheese I think that’s outrageous. I would never recommend Main St. Bagels to anyone. I would tell them to go to one of the Starbucks and get a bagel for $ 2.25 and for extra cream cheese you are only charge $.25 cents.

Great bagel place. They not only have a variety of options but its at a super cheap price compared to other bagel places and they are also very quick. Here and then they have messed up my order but locally they do a great job

As I sit eating my first bagel from here, I realize how much I miss Noah’s bagels. There are a few things about Main Street bagels I find disturbing. The first is the cost, which they are not worth. Twelve blobs of dough and 3 flavored cheeses (NOT) $ 30.00. Second, the dough is not proofed long enough and not baked long enough. Third, flavored cream cheese doesn’t come close to a flavor. Plain cream cheese with roughly chopped veggie does not equal taste. Still craving a bagel, go to Costco and pick up the Einstein bagels (Noah), $ 5.49 for twelve, which I was going to do until someone suggested trying Main Street. Won’t do that again. Good taste to all those hunting for something worth eating.

Great prices, fresh bagels and their bagel breakfast sandwiches are amazing. The prices are a little higher than others around, so 4 instead of 5 stars, but yeah, I’m still a fan!

I’m from the east coast, so I’m picky abouy my bagels. These are the best in Saanta Cruz county, by far. Love the friendly staff here, too.

The bagels here are really tasty. They seem fresh and not hard or stale after toasting. I had a blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese. The cream cheese was nice – not the overly processed strawberry tastes that you find at some other places. Seemed slightly overpriced from other places I’ve been though, that’s why I took off a star.

Amazing fresh bagels, very nice and fast service. Drink area was messy and missing some condiments but that’s just me being picky! Overall great stop!

Have been here before in the morning when everything is stocked and ready to go. This last time we went in the early afternoon and everything was blown out. The employee was talking on her bluetooth to someone in Vietnamese the whole time. But the bagels are really good and toppings, also.

I got sick here soon after I drank my mocha drink. I made it clear that I wanted yogurt instead of ice cream (which is an option on the menu) and the lady just stared at me like she had no idea what I was talking about. The drink tasted like blended icecream and I could not finish it because it was too heavy on my stomach. I also ordered a ham and cheese bagel that was average at best.

Can’t go wrong … It’s great when you get the bagels and they are still warm.

Stopped here and got a tuna on onion begal. It was good. The wife and I took two bagel dogs to go. We heated them up and ate them for lunch. Both the wife and I got the shits that night. After realizing they don’t refrigerate the cooked bagel dogs, we have decided not to return there.

The bagels here are really really good! but don’t get the coffee, because the milk is always bad, they don’t keep it refrigerated. And there is always flies around the sugar for the coffee. It’s always too hot in there, so take your bagel to go &eat it some where better because the seats outside are very uncomfortable and not meant for sitting up right.

OMG! Best bagel ever! On my way out of town the other day I was craving a bagel so we stopped into the place for a quick bite. There was a lot of choices but I settled on a Jalapeño bagel with Jalapeño Cream Cheese. It was so damn good! The Cream Cheese is unlike anything I’ve ever had, it was super creamy and squished out the sides from every bite prompting me to slurp up the delicious goodness. The cream cheese was full of giant chunks of jalapenos that were a bit spicy but not overwhelming. The bagel itself was toasted perfectly and nice and gooey in the middle filled with chunks of tasty jalapenos just like I like em.
I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area!

Pretty good bagels, but really disappointing on the amount of cream chease they put on! Today was the equivilent of how much butter you might have used instead — barely anything at all! Normally they aren’t generous with the cream cheese anyways (and in general, I’m a Bagelry kind of gal but if I’m in a rush I’ll stop in here) but this one was a little ridiculous.

The line out the door tells you all. People were friendly and quick. Just the guy in front of us, after waiting in line, he gets to the front and wants them to explain everything, ahhh it’s a freakin’ bagel, your not buying a car. Helps me to work on patience, so thanks mister.
Anyway the bagels were very yummy, also had a strawberry/​banana smoothie with yogurt.

Not sure if this location is affiliated w/​the one in San Jose but the same friendly service surfaced. Asian owners, possibly Vietnamese but I didn’t bother to peel the onion. I had a hankering for bagels.
End result: jalapeño and cheese bagel, onion bagel, and whole wheat blueberry bagel plus a jalapeño cream cheese container for me, myself, and I. Also bought my little one a croissant.
Great reward after a 4 mile run!
I can’t complain. Bagels aren’t diet friendly and they’re dense but full of flavor. I don’t eat seafood but will try lox sometime. Sometime.
