Sharp knives(and gardening or woodworking tools) while you wait or shop — Terry Beech delivers on his promise. People don’t know if, but Terry has a masters degree in physics. He brings his knowledge of science to sharpening. He understands metallurgy as well as knows exactly what angle to put on every blade. He uses the best sharpening equipment which prolongs the life of tools — other sharpeners may grind away too much metal. If you’ve had your knives sharpened at a grocery store the sides of the knives may come back scratched — not a good sign. Terry is very professional and courteous as well. He’s the one I trust with my knives.

Terry is excellent. Dependable, skilled and affordable. Best knife sharpening in the county. He has sharpened all of my good Henkel, Wusthof and Williams Sonoma knives for years. Never a problem.

Terry at Sharp Quick does a terrific job. I take my knives to the Farmers Market in Aptos and they are done by the time I’m done shopping. Terry is polite… efficient…and affordable. Not sure how he could make me happier.

Nice guys, good prices and they work fast. But they somewhat ruined a few of my very nice knives, not sure they know what they are doing with the high grade steel.

Ruins knives! If you care about your knives do not take them to Mr. Beech, who actually dulled my fine quality Henkel and Wusthof kitchen knives. After unsuccessfully searching in the Santa Cruz area for anyone who knows the craft — because it is a learned craft — of sharpening I found Thom at William’s Cutlery in San Jose. He knows what he’s doing and he will sharpen them in a single day; in before 2 pm and and ready after 4 pm. Pretty cool.

Mobile knife and scissors sharpener. Very reasonable prices and can do stainless steel.
