Quatro’s is my favorite pizza in Carbondale IL. I’ve been coming for 40 years(?!). I usually get the Quatro’s Challenge, but I got tired of the Italian Sausage this time and tried the Bianca White(spinach, ricotta, mozzarella, maybe a tad too much garlic). My sister likes to order the vegetarian salad with shredded bacon. It’s a good deep dish with a tiny sauce. Some people say it’s pretty salty.

Although it’s slightly pricy, I’m obsessed with their chicken Alfredo pizza! This place does justice to the deep dish/pan pizza. I don’t usually like eating my pizza crust but the crust is almost my favorite part at Quatros. The Bianca is also a good choice for a bit of a different twist. Service is good too.

This was the first time here. Came here after school was out, so it was very quiet. Food was great! I see why all the Unilocalers rated it so well. Buffalo chicken pizza was awesome! Large Spinach salad to go with was a very well presented and great quality as well. We’ll be back again!

This is an updated review. Following the issues that I had with my last order, Quatro’s reached out to me and apologized, which I thought was really professional. They explained what was going on, and they felt bad for what had happened. So, I gave them another shot. And y’all, it was back to being delicious. I got an order of cheesy garlic bread, which is always good. I got a reuben sandwich which was also delicious, and I don’t know why I don’t order sandwiches from them more. I also got a large deep pan, with extra cheese, green olives, and pepperoni. When it got to my room, the pizza order was wrong. They had all the right ingredients– plus green peppers, which I can’t eat. The man on the phone was super apologetic and even though it was close to closing sent me a remake. Stuff happens, mistakes happen. The customer service was so good that I didn’t mind waiting a little longer to eat pizza. When it finally arrived, it was perfect. There was no more skimpy cheese, it was LOADED. It was hot, bubbly, and just the way a pizza should be. It’s good to have you back, Quatro’s!

Fairly good pizza, service is haphazard, but one of the better pizza offerings in Cdale. Can get crowded and lines can stretch outside. Delivers to.

After hearing about how great this place was, decided to try it. I prefer their sandwiches over their pizza. Still not bad. But i’ve been to better pizza places.

Good food — fast service. I wish the pizza’s were a little lighter and they had more beer choices — not a big fan of Budweiser products. Great for families.

I forgot to take pictures, but we will be back next year to visit the family and hopefully I will remember then. Really good deep dish pizza is hard to find in Texas unless you count Uno’s which as a chain restaurant I don’t count that as totally authentic. It is a dark, small, and cozy place in the heart of SIU. You seat yourself and the place gets really busy during the dinner rush. I love that they give the kids the croûton’s and cheese as an appetizer of sorts. They are older now, but still beg me to ask the waitress if they can get them. The place just has solid pizza and a fun atmosphere. The taco pizza is to die for with seasoned ground beef, lettuce, cheese and that deep crust. Dip that in some ranch are you are in heaven. The cheese and veggie are great options as well. Our menfolk always get the meat lovers one and love it. It is good the next day too! My only wish is they could ship it down to Texas for me!

Quatros is a touch and go kind of restaurant. Sometimes their food is amazing and sometimes it’s just meh. I was able to get a crustless pizza one time(basically a cheese on cheese pizza with no crust) but have asked for it again only to be told«We don’t do that». I think they are selective in who they do this for to be honest. I was with a well known community member when I asked the first time and got what I had ordered and when I went in with family, nope.

I love quatros pizza but the service I received today is disappointing. I ordered a pizza for delivery and I got the wrong one and when I went there the only thing they did is sorry we will change it for you. The sorry is not serious and the service was. In general people order for delivery when they have other plans or they are relaxing at home and they didn’t even realize the fact that was a delivery where you pay tips before checking the order, etc. On the whole a very bad management.

Best pizza in Southern Illinois. French onion soup is pretty good, the buffalo chicken pizza is my favorite. This is where I come when I want great pizza!

It’s a local fav. And since these are my home digs, I’m partial. Get yourself a big salad and a deep dish veggie and chow down. The pasta isn’t bad either. I’ll keep coming back every time I visit.

What a find! So typical of college towns. Really good quality food and extremely affordably priced. Cute place too. We went for a late night dinner. I ordered the veggie lasagna and my husband got his usual pizza(sausage, mushroom, and onions). He is a Chicago native and knows his pizza really well. He was surprised how good this was. The lasagna was not bad not outstanding. Their cheesy garlic bread was excellent.

Mediocre pizza, mediocre service, and drunk SIUC students hanging out front.(The college kids didn’t speak much English, but they certainly knew how to use the f-bomb… Nice job recruiting from outside the U.S., SIUC!) Seriously though… The welcoming committe notwithstanding, this pizza place is below-average.

Good place to eat but definitely overrated. If they were more consistent with the quality of their food then I would have rated more stars.

One of the best pizza places I’ve EVER been to! I’ve never eaten another pizza quite like a Quatros pizza… there’s just something about the crust. It’s been around for so long and hasn’t changed much since I was growing up in the area. It’s definitely a favorite among the SIUC college kids… it helps that they have nights where pitchers of beer are on special. :) They also offer whole wheat crust, which is a nice option. My favorites are their Italian sausage pizza and their taco pizza. They also have great salads! If you get a soda/water, make sure to keep your plastic yellow Quatros cup(they let you). My family had quite the collection growing up and I even have a few with me now living in Seattle. :P My only hope is that someday they offer the option to get their pizzas shipped across country(in a dry ice container, similar to how some other pizza companies do). I would order one every month, haha!

I live on Carbondale for almost 4 years, and this is the best place to eat pizza from. I like their Buffalo chicken pizza. AMAZING, but a little bit spicy I also like their Alfredo chicken pizza which has a great taste and full of cheese. the serve fresh salads with delicious dressing. Try their thin pizza. Staff are so friendly. For dining in your might wait a few minutes before they serve you. It is usually crowded. If you dine in they are going to give you their Pepsi cup. keep as a souvenir

They’ve got the best deep pan pizza around! Everything from the sauce to the toppings is delicious. Plus, the toppings are under the cheese, which prevents toppings from just falling off. And the prices are decent. I’ve never been disappointed – aside from that one time I had nowhere to store my leftovers while attending an all-day event. Don’t go at peak times and expect to be seated quickly. Instead, grab a slice of Quatro’s pizza when you’ve got time to savor the flavor. Otherwise, you might as well buy a $ 5 Hot-N-Ready piece of cardboard.
