What a great, new experience. Maggie was thorough and organized. She was patient, safety-minded and encouraging. I love the sport and can’t wait to do it again! The difference is in the details though and Maggie went above and beyond. Can’t recommend enough.

I live local and have experimented with paddle boarding for the past 8 – 9 months and finally purchased my own board about 3 months ago. I found out about Maggie/Blue Paddle SUP via a group I joined (SoCal SUP Chicks). I really enjoyed our lesson as she covered items I felt I needed to fine tune (paddle position and technique, turns, and provided advice of how to tackle swells and eventually ocean paddling). She has a great personality and is a true joy to work with and made the day a lot of fun!

Maggie was absolutely fantastic as an instructor! I was a bit apprehensive as it was my first time going paddle boarding. Maggie was patient, very encouraging and kind to help me get at ease in the water. She was organized and had everything ready when we got to Mission Bay. She provided step by step instructions off the water before we started and continued to help with suggestions on how to move your paddle and stand while in the water. She is a great instructor and I would highly recommend her. I could not believe that I was able to move along with everyone. It was a fantastic day overall. I would do this again. Thank you Maggie for a great experience.
