Great food, and when they say fast, they don’t mess around. They have a very friendly and attractive staff. Perfect for a quick, healthy bite to eat.

My experience at this restaurant was great the cashier was super helpful. It was my first time going there and I didn’t know what to order to the cashier helped pick it out. I believe her name was Ashley. If you ever go to CBW male sure you get Ashley as a cashier because she will make your experience wonderful I am for sure going there again soon.

See, I come here pretty often after work, get the same thing – Stir Fry Bowl w/the fixings– and I usually get decent service. Today, on the other hand, I received absolutely ATROCIOUS service. I got there around 3:30ish so there wasn’t a lot of people there. In fact, after I ordered, I was the ONLY one there. It took quite a while for it to get cooked, but I think it’s because it looked like there was only one chef back there? OK, that’s fine, I didn’t happen to be in a rush. The cashier’s name was Ashley. I think she might be new or something. Anyways, I order my food as usual, but she didn’t ask what kind of sauce I wanted, which was unusual. So I had to add that into my order myself before she finished putting in my order. I also asked for extra sauce on the side, which I believe she misheard as, «Actually, I want a Fajita Bowl,» which I DIDNOTSAY, I repeat I DIDNOTSAYTHIS. Because after I ASKEDFORMYEXTRASAUCEONTHESIDE, she took longer to finish typing in my order. Sure, I probably should’ve checked the receipt before I actually got my food, but who would when you go there often, order the same damn thing, and specifically DIDNOT say I wanted to change my order to a Fajita Bowl. So, still without checking the receipt or my bowl yet, I get my bag of food, and put it in my car. I open the bag to find that it was not my Stir Fry Bowl. Confused, I walk back into the place and tell Ashley kindly, «I actually ordered a Stir Fry Bowl, not a Fajita Bowl.» She proceeds by saying, «No, you changed it earlier. You said, ‘Actually, I want a Fajita Bowl.’» I looked at her really confused and said, «I don’t remember saying that.» There’s an awkward pause, she then responds, which upset me more, «It tastes really good, I promise.»(BTW it tasted REALLYBAD!) Not to mention her tone was very defensive the entire time she was talking to me. Her useless coworker doesn’t even say anything either, and just watches me from behind the counter. Like, I thought the customer is always right? The thing they were SUPPOSED to do is APOLOGIZE to the customer and MAKETHECORRECTORDER, NOT argue with the customer and tell them what YOUTHINKTHEYSAID. Sheesh! What kind of people are they hiring these days? It seemed like she got the job through her friend, too. This was, by far, the WORST customer service I’ve EVER experienced. Usually, like I said, the customer service is OK when I go to CBW. I should’ve asked for the manager, but at that point, I just wanted to get out of there because of how rude and defensive Ashley was being toward me. It was so bad, that I knew they were talking about me as I left. To them, I may be a «difficult customer,» but they don’t realize how much customer satisfaction has an impact on their establishment, and how much these kinds of reviews would deter customers from coming back. That being said, I’m never coming back to this place. As much as I enjoy the food, it’s not worth experiencing that ridiculous service.

BUYERBEWARE They over charge you. Many menu item have 2 proteins. As soon as you choose your second protein they charge you, ALL proteins are extra except chicken. It happened every time we ordered so we stopped ordering from here, Instead of your item being priced at 8 – 9 per the menu they actually charge you 10.

Here’s the deal on this place. The food is OK. Like ‘meh’ OK. Not ‘pretty good’ OK. But here’s the problem: it’s ridiculously overpriced, the portions are small, and it seems like everything on the menu is $.50 or $.75 or $ 1 or $ 1.25 extra if you want anything. It’s like really? Why don’t you just raise everything $.75 and stop charging me a dollar extra for beef or quinoa or beans or whatever?

It’s was pretty bad. I called ahead and ordered the protein bowl to go(half chicken and half salmon +$ 1.25 extra). The service was really friendly, gentleman who took my order and who took payment both very polite… The food was yuck. Rubbery/over cooked vegetables topped with extremely dry/bland/fishy salmon and a few slices of dry chicken. Sauce was served on the side and«salsa bar» was a weird mix of hummus, soy sauce, raw ginger and buffalo chicken sauce. I ended up throwing more than half away

Man, I was really hoping this place would rule. The menu has lots of choices and they all sound great. I usually love places like CBW, where they serve grass fed steak, etc. But the actual food does not taste good. The chicken was dry, the vegetable combination was odd and not flavorful, and the sauce selection is off. Bowls are a big staple when you don’t eat gluten, wish this place could deliver on quality.

Healthy foods and excellent service. I had the chicken Caesar wrap. The wrap was bigger than what I’m used to but it was so delicious I ate it all. The lady at the counter was very helpful with what her favorite items on the menu were as this was my first time eating there. The choice of juices were also very tasty and healthy. They have a salsa/hummus bar that looks fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place. I’m looking forward to bringing my husband and kids here.

I’m a big fan of all of the«create your own» places that seem to be popping up, and this is a good one. I had a bowl with brown rice, chicken, steamed veggies and a ginger sauce. I loved the different veggies that came — very colorful with red pepper, purple cabbage, kale, carrot, etc. Not your typical steamed veggie selection but tasted great! The sauce was a bit salty for my taste, though. I’ll probably be back because the portions were large and the price was really reasonable.

A fellow reviewer told me they changed their hours. Great! I’ll now focus on the food. Everything is mediocre but I only go here if I need something healthy(or healthier) and quick. The vegetables are dried and not cooked well. I think all I saw were purple cabbage and they were not soft and crunchy. The chicken taste like rubber. I tried the pesto pasta and it was drenched in the sauce. I was eating pesto sauce and it was overwhelming. The only thing I do like is the tostada salad. Maybe bc it is a simple salad and gets the job done. However, I’ll just walk over to CYO and get a salad there since it’s bigger and well made. I think the owner needs to retrain the staff on the menu or taste what’s being sent out. Arrived at 850pm on a Sat and it was closed! I thought it closed at 9pm. Awful I really liked the chicken bowl and wanted to come here right after work. I know it’s cutting it close but dang… You can’t just close shop early. I’m kind of bummed.

Excellent wraps! My first time here today. I had the recommended buffalo chicken wrap on a tomato tortilla. I had them grill it which I highly recommend. The wraps are healthy, and have healthy portions in em! The wrap was a little dry but add a little Del Taco sauce and you’re in business! They’re a little pricey, but I don’t feel like I overpaid. The service was with a smile and they made my wrap quickly. I’ll definitely return!

CBW Fresh Food Fast is one of our go to take out establishments. Food has great flavor and there are a good amount of healthy food options. I am bad with carbs and oink out on the Buffalo Chicken Wrap with brown rice. I get that 9 out of 10 times. Their shining star is the sauces bar. They have a nice variety of different sauces you can choose from for your meal. I recommend the cilantro jalapeño sauce. Crew is always friendly and service is pretty quick. They have a lot of USB connections for those techies who need to charge their iPhones terrible battery. Parking can be trying at times but that’s not their fault. Although if you come on a weekday around lunch time, you are better off just parking at the Lowes and walking to the CBW because the parking lot is like the opening 10 minutes of the movie Saving Private Ryan. Enjoy the food, we have since the day they opened. Thanks CBW.

Just left here for lunch… This is the 2nd time I’ve been. It’s a great little spot, especially for to go orders. Staff is friendly and helpful. The food is delicious! I got the spicy buffalo wrap and it is super spicy(for me). I really enjoy spicy food though so it’s perfect. Overall tasty, fast and friendly. I think it’s a little too pricey for what it is though. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5. But I’ll still come back, very nice alternative to greasy fast food!

Ok I’ll admit it they got me hooked. Today after sitting at my desk debating if I buy lunch or skip it the pesto wrap entered my mind and I was stuck from there. That wrap just keeps pulling me back dammit

I sometimes go to the Jersey Mikes that is next door to this place and have wanted to give it a shot. This place announces very loudly that is very fresh and good for you. This is appealing to many people and myself. The price is just off. I ordered a Thai chicken wrap with qinoa. I mean is was OK tasting but it was pretty small. The total was just over 10 dollars. For what you get, just not worth it to me. I feel like some places abuse food labeling for higher profit.

Smaller place to eat but nevertheless still pretty yummy. Limited seating and minimal decorations, and the employee that helped me(shaunny) was quite rude and snappy. I hate complaining more than anything after being a server myself but the presentation of the bowls is crappy at best! flavored are good but almost meld together and nothing stands out. I get it… Mistakes happen but when you up sell me to a regular and charge me for it and for a large tea and then you give me a small soda an the small size is just blatantly done. I will give this a few more tries before I decide if it is worth the pricey food.

OK — I got a C.Y.O.B.(create your own bowl) with Jasmine Rice, Steamed Vegetables and Grilled chicken. The olive oil lime dressing sounded nice, but they forgot it. Grrr. The rice — you know, it’s rice. I’d give it about a 7⁄10 on the cooked perfect scale. Not the best around, but still pretty good. The steamed veg — if you remove the cabbage there were a few, yes a few, broccoli pieces and about 5 – 6 pieces of carrot. I should have taken a picture, I blame hunger levels. At least it was fresh and nice — I just don’t happen to care for a fist full of cabbage. I have learned my lesson and will get straight broccoli next time, should there be one of those. The chicken — honestly there wasn’t much of it, and what I did get was totally dry. Too bad they forgot my dressing eh? Sheesh… Soooo… while I suppose I would give them another shot(one of my good friends loves this place,) I’m not likely to do so unless an eating companion requests it. Just total meh.

Fresh food, but prices are quite steep for the portion sizes. My chicken spinach salad come out to $ 10, and was probably 1⁄3 of the size Panera serves right next door. I like the variety of sauces and dressings they offer, especially their tomatillo sauce. I’ll try a bowl or wrap next time, definitely going to skip their salads.

Came across CBW this past week in a newer mall off of Palomar Airport Road. It’s a small place that is tucked away next to some other smallish restaurants. You could easily miss it if you weren’t looking for it. Anyway, it was calling my name as I was looking for something different, quick and sort of healthy with Thanksgiving right around the corner. The menu features Bowls and Wraps(ie. the B and W in the name). How the C fits(crazy) i’m not exactly sure. You can also find salads on the menu. All are reasonably priced. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. It came with jazmine rice, lettuce and the spicy chicken. The spice wasn’t overwhelming, but definitely had some kick and flavor! There is also a salsa bar that has additional sauces you can try. My son had the sweet and sour chicken bowl also with jasmine rice, red peppers and sauce. Didn’t try a bite, but looked good. The menu specializes in fresh fast food. Minimally processed which is good for the body as well as the mind. The flavors are amazing. I’d love to try some other menu items in the near future. Keep on Unilocal’n!

Nice surprise to a «fast food restaurant» Admittedly I wasn’t expecting much– just a chicken and rice bowl with some veggies. But was totally impressed that the focus is healthy and fresh. Much of the menu is organic and GMO-free. On different occasions, I’ve tried the chicken, beef, and salmon with different sauces. Everything is good. I would go easy on the soy and the ginger sauce because it does seem to be a bit salty. One thing I totally love is the sauce bar. I’m not calling it the salsa bar because while it does have pico de gallo, it also has different types of freshly made hummus, verde salsa, and others. Great casual food at a great price.
