Esperanza is the greatest, give her a raise, I promise I didn’t make her job easy. And she did it all b4 I was off my break. For me and 5 other men

What can I say, it’s Subway. You’ll get the same experience here as any other location. I’ve never had the poor experience offered by previous reviewers. I come here weekly during normal lunch hours and have never had a problem. My sandwich is prepared quickly and correctly each time.

Ahh! It’s a Subway and you know what you will expect. The vegetables were fresh and green. Also, the staff understood english well.

Subway send me an email saying to text socaloffers to 782929. Text responded and got an coupon offer free 6 six with an order of drink expiring in 4 minutes. The guy said ok. He saw the coupon with time left. So I was Ready to pay and a lady named Keyla said said we don’t honor such coupon. So I just left disappointed so I am giving them at least 1 star. Poor service

Zoe is the best Subway employee we have ever run into! She is so nice and does everything right. She keeps the restaurant stocked and never stops working. The owner is lucky to have Zoe! She is awesome.

I can’t believe the staff at this location and that the management here would hire such a rude staff that talks back to their customers! I was presented with a «Free 6 inch Sub» ticket because they had messed up on an order that was for a company event. When I went back to redeem this sub, I gave the card to the gal behind the counter and the first thing that she said to me was, «What is this?!» In my head, I was like excuse me, but I continued and let her read on so she knew what it was. After spending about a minute and a half reading it she called for her other coworker in the back Eileen. When Eileen came to ring me up on the register(I know because I’ve kept the awesome receipt from this transaction) she asked me what my name was. I told her my name and the other lady(an older lady, I didn’t get her name) was calling someone on the phone, I can only assume it was a manager who had the day off. After a bunch of back and forth, I paid for my chips and drink, and went to the soda fountain to get my drink. When I was getting my drink Eileen turned towards me and asked me again, «What is your name?» with a little bit of attitude. After working with customer service and being an assistant manager of a store before, my brain went off, so I asked her back, «Just curious, but why do you need to know my name?» Eileen then shouted back at me in the store, «WHYDOYOUHAVETOHAVESUCHATTITUDE!!!» I then presented myself and said, «I’m sorry, but I’m just really curious on why you need my name?» And then she turned to me and said, «Because we need to know who is using this coupon!» After that, I grabbed my items and stormed out of this location. I CANNOT believe the staff here and seriously am outraged by this event that happened here and will NEVER eat with this company again.

I have to say that every time I go it’s always a great staff; however, I must confess that I do go very early before I start my morning shift. Great flavorful sandwich. The staff(in particular an employee named Yadira) is always so helpful. A couple of weeks back I had an issue with the portion size I was given of pastrami, and they gladly gave me a replacement along with an apology. I don’t know if the issue begins during the lunch rush, but perhaps the morning is a better time to go. Hopefully this was helpful.

I must agree with Joe B. The«welcome to subway» thing is killing me. Something is off with this restaurant. I keep giving them another chance because its close to work, but they keep dropping the ball. DONOT go in on a MONDAY because the bread is DAY-OLD on Monday. Every Monday. Not fresh at all, like they are trying to use it all up instead of throwing away the day-old bread. In addition to today’s STALEBREAD, I get all the way back to my office and the Sprite I bought was just carbonated soda water! Yuk!

It’s your typical Subway sandwich chain near Legoland. My wife and I like to stop here before heading into Legoland so we can have a good lunch at the park. I’ve had good experiences with staff and the quality of the sandwiches is like any other good Subway. The bread was fresh, staff was polite, and they got my order right. It’s cool when people at Legoland ask me where the Subway’s locate inside the park. I tell them I get my sandwich prepared in the morning and I bring it into the park. Some advice, from experience, if you think of doing what I do. Get the bread toasted so it doesn’t get soggy and ask for the mustard and mayo packs to go. You can add it to your sandwich once you are ready to eat it inside Legoland. Enjoy!

People are generally friendly with the exception of 1 person who looks like he would rather be sitting on hot coals in the desert during a heat wave than than be at that Subway. If you ask anyone who has been there during his shift they know exactly who this infamous Carlsbad Subway employee is. I will be nice and not call out his name(rhymes with yack). Perk up guy and try smiling — everyone is coming in from work during their lunch breaks and don’t need to see a sulking person with no expression(EVER) making their food.

I go to subway a lot and usually love it. This location is just off somehow. Like the ingredients aren’t the same or something. Also, stop saying«welcome to subway» to everyone and MAKEMYSANDWICH! «Pickles? — Welcome to subway — Mayo?- welcome to subway-mustard?- welcome to subway.»

Don’t let the negative reviews fool you. When you see bullshit like this you have to consider the source: «The guy asked me what kind of sandwich and I answered him, yes I wanted it toasted. Then after grabbing the bread I wanted, he asked me everything AGAIN. HELLO! Were you listening? Then I told him I wanted all the toppings on my sandwich but still had to ask for a couple things. I’m back at work ready to eat it, and the bread wasn’t cut all the way and everything was just thrown together and is now falling out.» Oh WAAAAAAH did you want him to wipe your butt and change your diaper also? Are you really that unhappy that you have to take it out on the poor guy cause he asked you twice if you wanted your sandwich toasted? Get a life. Anyway. I’ve always had positive experiences with this place. It’s clean, it’s conveniently located, and the staff is nice. I’d rather be called dude than sir but what can you do. It’s a solid Subway establishment, even if occasionally they have to ask you a question twice so they DON’T SCREWUPYOURORDERYOUSTUPIDBITCH! Seriously, I’m flagging that chick.

Uh, its subway. They all smell the same. They all serve the same stuff. They all say, «Hi, welcome to Subway.» when you walk in. Good stuff. Here’s a good question… WHENARETHEREGOINGTOBEDRIVE-THRUSUBWAYRESTAURANTS???

Gah, why do I always get the«new guy» when I order a sandwich? Very stingy on the spinach and the dude didn’t know what he was doing at all. And their Coke Zero was flat… *sigh*

Ugh. Ok, so if you’re going for a $ 5 footlong, we can all agree that that is a decently good deal for an average sandwich. Except now they only feature one a month, so if you don’t like it you’re S.O.L. Honestly, my opinion on the whole sandwich thing is that if you’re in this area and you want a sandwich, go to Board and Brew. Their sandwiches might be an extra $ 1.50, but they are HUGE and AMAZING. Oh, and you can get a beer for about the same price as a friggin bottle of water here at Subway. So I’m basically writing this review to save you from salad hell. If you were planning on getting a salad, I will list options for you that will blow this shithole out of the water. Things that sucked about my salad: –A veggie delite salad costs the same as the salads they load with meat and cheese that you can also get all of the veggies on. That is LAME. –The lettuce was brown around all of the edges and they barely give you any, even if you ask for more –The spinach was wilted and they give you like 15 pieces –The tomatoes have zero flavor –There was only one person in back of me in line because I came before lunch hour peaks, and they still managed to forget to give me a fork. Even though she kept telling the guy to give me one, he never did –They didn’t ever ask me what dressing I wanted. I had to ask after she gave me my receipt if I could please have some oil and vinegar. She gave me one small packet of each. Thanks a bunch. –A shitty, tiny, wilted salad that I ate with my fingers, and bottle of water cost nearly $ 8 –To sum it all up, EVERYTHING sucked about my salad. And the process of getting it. Options in this area that are better than getting a salad from Subway: –Trader Joe’s — gourment, delicious, fresh, flavorful salads for $ 3 – 4 –Souplantation Express — GIANT, fresh, fully loaded custom salad with giant topping bar for $ 6 –Grass from your business complex –Skipping lunch entirely

I understand that you might be busy on a saturday around lunch time, but thats no excuse to give me a shitty sandwich. The guy asked me what kind of sandwich and I answered him, yes I wanted it toasted. Then after grabbing the bread I wanted, he asked me everything AGAIN. HELLO! Were you listening? Then I told him I wanted all the toppings on my sandwich but still had to ask for a couple things. I’m back at work ready to eat it, and the bread wasn’t cut all the way and everything was just thrown together and is now falling out. Thanks a lot Subway. I’ll just keep going to the one on Palomar Airport by Tip Top Meats.
