All Starbucks are not the same — They all have a different vibe and I think the management makes the difference. My bet is that the nice red haired manager is the secret ingredient that makes this loker ave Starbucks deserving of 5 stars! From what I’ve observed he’s smart, good to his staff and actually spends time training them, and he knows his coffee. Glad this place is so close to home.

Why is the music so loud in here? I thought this was a coffee house not a night club. I spend so much time and money on Starbucks, it would be nice to have a relaxing lunch instead of feeling rushed and anxious with this loud fast music. Can’t even carry a conversation in here unless you shout.

This particular Starbucks gets a lot of traffic, morning and noon, though I usually only swing by in the AM. Service is peppy and staffed by cheerful people, which is important when the place is full. Decent parking and seating for the area, and centrally located to numerous businesses. Order accuracy has always been on point, and the grab-​n-​go items are well stocked, the place is pretty clean too.
I would love to see a seating expansion in back, but the land is owned by the airport I think. +1 for a festive menu last Halloween!

Matt, Laurent, Alex, Erin, && Abby make this place amazing! Come here almost every day and I am never disappointed! The customer service is top notch! The drinks are always great! And The wait is never exaggerating. I love Starbucks in general but this is by far the best one! :)

The reason for my 5 star review at a big coffee chain like Starbucks is my barista Matt. He was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my custom drink. Thank you Matt!

All stars simply because I came here at one of the busiest times of the day… Lunch hour… They seriously know how to handle traffic flow in a great amount of time! I also had multiple orders and they didn’t mix up or confuse them with other orders! And i made it back to work in time with some time to spare

Terrible Starbucks. We ordered a cotton candy frappucino and they gave us a vanilla one. We ordered a chai tea latte and they gave us coffee? Not only that: the pumpkin bread we ordered was stale and tasted like someone dumped pumpkin spice flavoring into a mix of their lemon bread and decided «eh. Whatever.» This has never happened before at any starbucks. Worst one I’ve ever been to.

Customer service here has changed a lot!
I think that with different management and newer staff, this place has made a major turn around.
Had a lot of difficulties with awkward situations with staff at this place for a while, now they know me by name and try to make sure they try and guess my drink. Totally my fault that I change it up on a regular basis.
I think that quality service is a huge part of Starbucks.
The change at this location for a regular like myself is huge, and I can see that there’s more synergy involved in the staff. Great job on improving the quality of your service!

Love this place! Starbucks is almost on every corner but this one is on my favorite list. Why? Because they care. Yes. It’s that simple. Staff here care, and take time to make drinks spectacular. 5 stars for a 5 star Starbucks. The staff is what makes it special, and worth any wait. I will drive across town just to visit this one. Don’t believe it’s that great? Check it out for yourself. I promise you’ll love it! This is the best Starbucks in town!

I don’t usually review chains. But I frequent this Starbucks a lot since it’s down the street from my work and am a fan of the location, their hours, and their friendly service!
They open at 4:30 am… so nice since I work at 5 am sometimes. It’s hard finding a coffee spot that early!

Friendly, inviting and efficient Starbucks! The parking lot is shared with a lot of other businesses so just be aware of that parking situation, but overall it’s a great location and outside area is lovely :) the baristas are friendly and efficient. I can’t really comment on whether they would mess a drink up or not, because I’ve only gotten their blonde roast (hard to mess up black coffee lol). But I’m sure it’s all wonderful :)

There are 2 starbucks from my work… Same distance. I prefer to come to this one because they’re quick and fast. You have 2 barista’s making the drinks vs other places where there’s only 1 barista. Sometimes I’m about to sit to wait for my drink but the drink is made so quick that I don’t even have time to sit and check in Haha.

One of the best Starbucks locations for the following reasons:
1. High volume store = fresh coffee all the time.
2. If you opt for latte’s the steamed milk is steamed fresh for your order. Other locations tend to let that milk sit and re-​steam it for the next cup… ew.
3. Clean! Trash is never overflowing, and the dairy bar is always wiped down.

This is a good solid Starbucks overlooking the landing strip of the Carlsbad airport with nice views of the ocean on a clear day. This location has a cool outdoor patio for peaceful sitting while drinking your tea/​coffee. This holiday season the peppermint mocha Frap is back, soooo good, it tastes like a huge York peppermint patty!

Have to agree with those who say this is one of their favorite Starbucks. It’s right along Palomar Airport Road, but it’s set back from the road and from the back patio you get a great sunset view over the airport.
Robin sat outside and calmed Joey down so he wouldn’t hyperventilate while I went inside and got my drink, and then we both relaxed and chatted and watched the beautiful sunset from the back patio. Coffee+chat+ sunset = nice evening activity.
