Icon Helicopters

I can’t recommend this enough, so much fun!!! I’d give them a 10 star rating if I could. We took a flight out to the Julian Pie Company to grab some apple pie and headed back home. The flight there was beautiful, the flight back was beautiful as well but a lot more fun.
Our Pilot, Dave, was a fantastic host. It is clear from the second you meet him that he has been doing this for a long time and loves what he does. He was very courteous and friendly. He pointed out various landmarks as we flew and looked like he was having as much fun as we were.
Trust me on this, if you take the flight out to the Julian Pie Company let Dave have some fun flying through the canyons on the way back. Trust me :)
If you have been thinking about taking a helicopter ride, stop thinking and do it, you won’t regret it.

What can I say ! Nothing but good stuff!
This past Thursday April 29,2014 I had the most daring and wonderful ride of my life!
Before I continue with my awesome experience I want to let you all readers know that Dave is the man to go! Before I found him on Unilocal I decided to look up online (google) to find nothing good. I had called 2 other places and not only were they not very informative they weren’t friendly! Who would like someone like them? No one! Well Dave is the complete opposite he informs you well and is very friendly. I will be going again soon for sure! And this time bringing my son along. Good pricing too ! I surprised my guy he has never been up in the air so it was a scary surprise lol even though he didn’t say it I know he was scared lol he ended up loving the feel and experience he is planing to take the classes. Dave made it all happen! So thanks Dave so much!

My family and I did a tour of the San Diego coast and harbor and then landed at the Thornton Winery in Temecula and had lunch and did wine tasting! It’s amazing how well you get treated at a place when you show up in a helicopter! Dave (the pilot and owner) was great with us and patient while we tasted our wine. :) He was very professional and responsive to all of my questions ahead of time when trying to set this up. This was a once-​in-​a-​lifetime experience and well worth every penny! The airport is easy to get to and in no time we were heading out to the helicopter and on our way! They have all sorts of tour options and even do charters if you’re over sitting in traffic to get somewhere.
