They may have been around since the 90’s, but I only started coming here maybe in 2004. My prior go to pizza spot was KPFM and as when I became an adult I came to Carlsbad more often. They have been around WAYYYYY longer than the dozen places that popped up since 2011(Port, That, Rev, Blaze, Red, Pieology, KO, Sammy’s Crust, Allen’s) They have seen it all. Business’ nearby come and go, I’ve seen staff grow up and leave I’ve seen Carlsbad change as well. I’m updating my draft on this because they are being evicted by their landlords for a Subway so I figured I’d finish before they close. My favorite pie is the white pie, mushrooms, peppers, garlic butter(though the garlic isn’t that pronounced). I also like their classic Pepperoni. What people like most is that they are fast, they are local, they deliver and are inexpensive. Monday Madness has $ 10L is the way to go. It’s pretty hard to beat. Ok so the crust can be a tad hard to get right, the thin version is usually overcooked, while the standard version can be dry, maybe that’s why the parm crust is so popular. I can’t put my finger on if it’s too much yeast or old dough, but you gotta eat it quick or use dip. I like the chicken broccoli ranch shuttle sprinkled with a little red sauce. The key is consistency as you can get wildly varied pizza’s. Their appetizers are pretty meh as to truly do wings, poppers and mozzarella stix you need a fryer. Salad’s are forgettable, garlic bread is pretty good thought. I actually get subs about half the time except when I use a special. The Italian sub is actually good, but the bread isn’t ctusty enough, but at least it doesn’t fall apart. The grinder is the Italian, but bot and with marinara sauce, ditch the red onions on this one. It’s a shame to see them go. If you live within a mile of here you really should be coming here despite the entire shopping center falling apart I hate to see corporate green push out M&P Shops.

Here on vacation, we ordered pizza and wings. Everything was amazing! My kids killed the pepperoni and mushroom pizza and the Bbq wings. I couldn’t get enough of the hot wings. There was nothing left!

If you live nearby call in an order for pick up. They will usually have a pizza ready for pick up in ten minutes. The menu has a good selection of toppings that other places don’t offer. The price is fair and the people that work there are always cool and friendly.

Underrated pizza… Located along Tamarack Rd in the small strip mall between the Rite Aid and Von’s supermarket. So unsure what was for dinner one night and really unmotivated to cook dinner, I thought giving Shuttle Pizza a try might be a great idea since it is always busy. We grabbed the Veggie Pizza and a meatball sub. Both were a pleasant surprise, with fresh ingredients and the pizza base and bread for the sub being well made. No complaints here, the service was good and the pricing was reasonable. If you have kids they have a done of those quarter slot egg toys to keep them busy while you shop or wait. Overall Food: 4 – 5 Service: 4 – 5 Coming back: yes

After an extremely long day and being indecisive on what to eat for dinner, unfortunately the clock almost ran out to where my only options was fast food. So thankfully this place is still open relatively late on weekdays. You can place your pizza order online, but after it seemed to be complicated and time consuming, I just called over there and literally placed an order in less than 30 seconds! Told me it would take 10 – 15 minutes, which was perfect timing for me to just drive over there. Pizza had a good thickness with the perfect sauce to cheese ratio, but I wish they amped up the pizza with some more flavor. The pizza is inexpensive as well and is definitely a lot better than most chained pizza places!

Oh boy! If I could I wouldn’t even give this place a star. I am no pizza snob! I lived in Chicago for awhile and I have to say pizza is just pizza but what we had delivered to us the other night was the worst pizza I had ever eaten. We ordered the meat pizza, mozzarella sticks and garlic bread. The pizza was burnt, the meat was uneatable and there was no sauce.(I said light sauce I didn’t know that meant no sauce) The sticks tasted like freezer, like that had freezer burn and they were cooked anyway. And the garlic bread was frozen tasting too. We had been swimming all day and nobody wanted to make dinner pizza sounded good so we ordered from here. Never again. Never ever again. (Oh, and that night most of us were sick to our stomachs) No thanks.

The best pizza for miles. Quality product and super low prices. Friendly guys working there too. I highly recommend them. They were a Unilocal find that really paid off.

Subpar pizza and horrible service. Don’t waste your time or money on this place. There are plenty of other good pizza places in town. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Love the pizza here! One of the best in Carlsbad and fairly priced. Only lost one star because the delivery driver forgets the soda half the time.

Maybe the worst pizza we’ve had. The one star is for the nice girl on the phone and the courteous delivery guy. We ordered the cheeseburger pizza, so don’t know how the regular sauce tastes, but the crust tasted a day old and toppings were sparse. Threw most of it away as inedible :-(

Started ordering from here because it was close and they have solid food. My wife loves the sandwiches and I love the pizza Got delivery today and the pizza wasn’t up to there normal standards. Called and the manager said no problem and sent a brand new pizza to us. It’s one thing to make good food any it’s another to have a great customer service. Well pizza shuttle has both. Highly recommend it

Had a good sandwich here, hot pastrami and Swiss made to order. The bread was light and flaky. Similar to a Subway sandwich but a little better in my opinion.

Weve ordered from here twice, because they deliver, we had coupons, can order online, and were lazy. They are SUPER skimpy when it comes to meat in their subs. They boast«generous» helpings of meat, when it’s really very meager. I even paid to add extra bacon in my BLT and barely got enough. The mozzarella sticks were so dry, my mouth hurt after eating them. The subs have no flavor either. It’s just not worth the convenience. Which is sad.

I say it was the worst pizza ever, absolutely no flavor. I just decided to give it a try because I was starving and off the exit killing some time, but I guess my pizza standards are higher than the average, I just no its nothing gormet or authentic

Great turkey sub… Toasted roll fresh tomato, lettuce, red onion, pepper chinos, nice provolone. Best if all they deliver to my open house! Polite and kind delivery guy.

Pizza Shuttle is a great go-to for delivery pizza. Their product is solid, with specialty and basic pizzas available. They quickly deliver and have been very nice throughout the experience. I especially enjoy their broccoli shuttle! The only drawback I see is that they do not offer any discounts on their specialty pizzas.

As I was nannying two teenagers, I got hungry. So I decided the best option was to order some pizza because I knew the kids would help me eat it. I Unilocaled the area and this was the 1st place on the list. I have past by the store before, I frequent the Rite Aid and it’s right next door. I wasn’t going to order from them because of the ratings, but found them to be the cheapest option. Their Monday special was a large pizza, 1 topping for $ 8.35. I gave them a rang, the guy on the phone said it was gonna be $ 9.00, no delivery fee. Sweet! Hence why the place gets three stars, instead of two. Delivery time was reasonable as well, within 40 minutes the pizza arrived. Great deal, $ 9.00 + tip for a delivered pizza. Well the pie came uncut. WHODOESN’T SLICEUP A PIZZAORTHEIRCUSTOMER?! Pizza itself was not the greatest. Hard crust. The only reason I would order from here again is because of how cheap it was.

Incredibly surprised at the 4 star average of a place that sells Ellios old school kid pizzas. I live very nearby and dislike the shopping center(except the Vons) as a whole./ especially the pizza place. I’ve tried it about 4 – 5 times each time scratching my head. I swear I was pulling for this place. But– 2 terribly presented and oversauced pizzas and 2 completely amateur sandwiches, I’ve gone for the last time. It’s either delivery from Knockout or your regular mainstream places. Take a look at the menu and the endless deals they have. It’s says it all. The presentation signifies what you should expect about the quality of this place. Again, it’s just sad that a main exit off the 5 has only this to offer as a reputable pizza place. It’s sad. Some of my friends enjoy it. But they also don’t mind average food.

Truly an institution, and great customer service. Beyond that, great food. The Antipasto Salad is my favorite. Any true Carlsbadian has some Pizza Shuttle action at least a couple of times per year.
