Super Bowl Sunday 10AM. Go to breakfast place, with 7 locations in San Diego. There’s even a beach named Swami’s in Encinitas. Upon arriving, you must sign-in but also specify for either inside table or outdoor patio table. This morning the wait to be seated inside was a quick 5 minutes, unusual for Sunday morning. As always, staff was friendly, talkative, and all servers greeted all customers. For coffee drinkers, the freshly brewed house blend was delicious –hot, mildly strong and was served In a big cup. I also had the 3-egg Green Omelette. It was loaded with asparagus, spinach, green opinions, bell peppers zucchini topped with feta cheese and slices of avocado… So good, it wasn’t a big breakfast, but portioned-controlled with the right ingredients. Definitely would recommend this breakfast choice to my running friends and family.

Best local breakfast around. Food is fresh and the menu is very extensive. Fish tacos are amazing and acai bowls are the best! Great service and prices. Come early or plan to wait for a table because it fills up fast, especially on weekends.

Came here for brunch on Sunday around 10am. Thankfully there was no wait. Lots of cute puppies on the patio so be sure to bring yours if you come. Acai bowl 4⁄5. 8.95 Loved the bee pollen touch. Bowl itself was pretty good, although it’d be hard to mess up. I still like banzai bowls better because they have more toppings and they’re cheaper too Lobster Benedict 0⁄511.95 Wth is this? I cannot believe this is on the menu. Shredded pieces of FAKE lobster mixed with some sort of ketchup concoction slathered over English muffins. The only thing I liked was the poached egg and fruit on the side. Thankfully i asked for hollandaise sauce on the side. I tried it and it was not to my liking Also, there is supposed to be a free dessert with Unilocal check in, however they don’t even have dessert and the manager said it was back when they used to serve dinner. If you have to come here just stick with the Acai bowl

Yummy in my tummy, and great gluten free options for my husband. Started off with my favorite Pitaya Bowl, and a large freshly squeezed orange juice… Spiced it up with an egg muffin, with bacon, cheese, tomatoes and mayo! Yummmm! My husband got the bison and egg burger, with gluten free bread and he LOVEDIT! The service was great, quick and we loved how it felt welcoming. Very very welcoming, it’s hard to find that now a days. But it was that, it was welcoming!!! :) Usually come for lunch, but I have to say breakfast is my new fave thing to get here!!!

I’ve honestly only had the breakfast there but we go all the time and we love it! It’s consistent and delicious. Wonderful service and great atmosphere.

Good fresh food and a lovely outdoor seating area. Service is average. They got our order wrong and were nowhere to be found to hello address the mistake. were. Also, the Acai bowl was really bitter and not worth it.

Food is good. Not fantastic. Concept is favorable as well: order at the counter, they bring you your food. No tipping wait staff so that will save you a few bucks. Self serve water & coffee. Food came out pretty fast. Their smoothies are unique and they have a lot of healthy options. Stuffed french toast was pretty good and it’s nice that you can easily add two eggs and breakfast meat to make it a well-rounded meal. I haven’t had lunch here but in time I’ll return to check it out. Prices are reasonable.

My wife and I have been coming here since they opened this location. At first it was great, but it seems the past few months it has lost it’s luster. We would normally have breakfast here at least once every 2 weeks. For some reason the service has gotten worse and the food is just ok. I’ve had to wait to long for a coffee and water refill. The one older gentleman that is always working outside is probably one of the hardest workers I’ve seen. But he is only one person, and can’t do it all.

Great place to stop in for lunch on our way to LA Jolla. Fish and chips with pineapple Cole slaw and 50⁄50 sweet potato and regular crispy fries. The fish Mahi Mahi oh so yummy. Hubby had Swami club with sweet potato fried and he says they are the best he has ever had.

The outdoor patio is killer. The menu is focused more on the healthy side. Nothing wrong with healthy every now and than.

My girlfriend and I decided to stop in here after surfing for something«small and healthy» since we weren’t quite too hungry yet. I got the Mango Madness smoothie and an acai bowl. My girlfriend got a burrito and the acai smoothie. I wished they told me how big the acai bowl was because I couldn’t finish it and had my girlfriend knew that it was so big, she wouldn’t have ordered the acai smoothie and just eat half of my acai bowl to help me out. I’m sure the mango madness smoothie didn’t help either, it made me full a lot quicker so I was stuck trying to wolf down a large bowl of an acai bowl, which still went to waste because I couldn’t eat anymore, it was so large. I like how this place is cute, quaint and simple, fresh food. Parking at this location isn’t as easy as the one in Oceanside but I like the layout of this place more.

I love this place. I was so happy when the decided to open up shop in downtown Carlsbad right next to the beach. I think the food is consistent and most of the staff are amazing. I’ve gotten pretty much everything on their menu. Lobster Benedict, avocado toast, Abc omelette, breakfast quesadilla. You name it, I’ve probably had it. I think what they’re best known for is their stellar Açaí Bowl. If you haven’t had that, at least come down and try it. Easy walk to the beach and close to some local stores. Dog friendly patio and usually plenty of parking.

Terrific little breakfast and lunch spot. Has a great family owned feel and the staff is all amazingly warm and attentive! Not TOO many vegan menu items, but they’re more than willing to make your meal vegan-made-to-order! I suggest the veggie burrito no cheese/egg. Good stuff! They do offer the Acai and Dragonfruit bowls which are huge, filled with coconut and delicious. Vegans, be sure to ask for no bee pollen if that’s a restriction! Outside patio too! Great spot in this terrific little town.

This review is on what I saw in the parking lot. ADA compliant your are not — shame on you. One spot in your lot and you made it a storage area. Also Steps only– no ramp. It’s 10÷1÷2015: Hope they cleaned up Please let me know if this review was useful, funny or cool. Thank You so much

I knew we were going to have to wait awhile on a Sunday I wasn’t bothered by that at all what I was bothered by was that we were rushed to eat and then leave. We finally sat down about 20 – 25 minutes after we showed up. We ordered our drinks and that’s when it all went down hill. She forgot my coffee, I asked her a question about the menu and she didn’t know(nor did she say she would go find out) I honestly don’t mind all that I know how it is when you’re busy but the one thing I can not stand is when I feel like I am not wanted at a table and being rushed. She dropped the check BEFORE our food even got to the table, we said«We haven’t even eaten yet» and she just replies with a smile and a laugh. I had my toddler with me and my mother in law and anybody who has kids knows that it’s not easy to wait awhile for food and he was getting cranky. Food took forever, finally arrived at out table and it was very good, cold but good. I got an omelet, my son got a burrito, and my mother in law ordered a burrito also everybody loved their food. It’s just so sad that we were treated so poorly. Rushing us out the door. I will for sure come back but hopefully this time we can stay awhile and enjoy it next time.

I’m not used to dining near the beach where the price is inflated so I was a little unhappy that a wrap, iced tea, and an acai bowl was about $ 27. Our first order was the acai bowl which came out quickly. The acai bowl is best shared with 2 people alongside another dish. It probably won’t satisfy most people as a standalone dish but it’s a great healthy alternative for dessert. The second order was a salmon wrap. It took a relatively long amount of time to prepare and was smaller than I anticipated. Still, it was decent and felt healthier than most«healthy» wraps. The bar chairs outside were slightly broken in that they couldn’t turn but when eating it’s not that important. Service was very friendly but it felt a little rushed. Overall, I might return but it isn’t a favorite I’ll crave anytime soon.

Food here is pretty good. They have a lot of options to choose from. Portions are adequate. I got the granola French toast that was really good. It doesn’t come with anything else beside fruit on top so you may have to order something small on the side of you have an appetite. They have mimosas, bloody Mary’s, and beers if you are a drinker. Staff is personable and friendly. We have been there on multiple diff days. Recently we went on a Saturday for brunch and waited for 30 minutes. We had a party of 6 and wanted to sit outside, so it took a little longer. I would not recommend going here w any larger groups. 4 seems to be enough. Definitely give this place a try. They have healthy and unhealthy options. Try the wheat grass shot. It tastes like lawn mower clippings, but kinda sweet too. Oh and try the acai bowl too!

We stopped in here over the weekend on a whim. It was 1pm and my husband was craving breakfast and I wanted lunch. There were several people waiting outside but we were told the wait would only be 5 – 10 minutes if we chose to be seated, first available. We were seated within our quoted time and lucked out with getting a table outside on the patio — or so we thought. The weather was perfect so it would’ve worked out nice except the table next to us was a little annoying. Frat boys from out of town who were hung over and felt the need to relive their evening at the brunch table. Loud and obnoxious! Despite the obnoxious frat boys at the next table, our outing overall was considered a success. The waiter even apologized for the rowdy table and offered to move us mid way through our meal. We appreciated the offer and decided to stay put because the alternative was near 3 big dogs and I could see the hair flying loose in the air and that didn’t seem appetizing. The good news is, the service, food and company(at my table anyway) was great. I went with a tuna melt sandwich and my husband went with a single pancake. I was a little worried that the single pancake wouldn’t be enough for him but our waiter assured us the serving size was pretty large and it’ll be plenty. He was right, it was plenty as they filled the entire size of the plate and were nice and thick. My tuna melt was prepared PERFECTLY! Crispy buttery bread and the tuna mixture was not too heavy and seasoned well. The mayo was not overpowering. I ordered this with french fries and together, this meal left me satisfied. It probably wasn’t the healthiest of options but I didn’t care. I needed the treat and it was worth the splurge. I saw a couple of bloody mary’s go by and I was a little envious. I’ll be sure to come back post pregnancy to give one of those a try. They looked absolutely delicious!

Whenever I family family or friends visiting me, I usually take them to Swami’s. Café Topes is close to me but Swami’s has a bigger menu to choose from I think. I’ve had a few of their dishes, from the smoothies to break and lunch entrees. Last weekend we got: — Acai Bowl(huge bowl, shared it and still couldn’t finish) — Corned Beef Hash — Crab Benedict We sat on the patio. They have a small parking lot behind, but we walked. Everything was good and yummy as usual!
