This is one of my favorite places. Whenever I’m feeling healthy but still want to eat a lot, I come here. I love the Deep Kettle House Chile. Also the blueberry muffins are so delicious. Great service, good prices, and most item are local produce.

I have been coming here for years and let me tell you how much I love Souplantation. It gets pretty crazy here, the lines will be super long and sometimes you will have to wait for a table with a ton of people behind you, but the employees here are very polite and try and make things go faster for you. They are very adamant on cleaning tables and around the salad bar and where you get bread and soup. The food here is pretty fresh and I like that it’s made to be a bit healthier for you. Overall I love this Souplantation, so much better than the one in Vista. 4 stars. I took off one star because the bathrooms here are repulsive and smell so bad. I walked to the bathrooms with a group of my friends and they smelled soooo bad, I feel bad for the people that have to sit by the bathrooms because you can smell the funk in a good sized radius from the bathrooms. I was literally about to pee myself but we went to a store nearby.

I’ve always loved souplantation but cleanliness is HUGE. When I came here one night with my parents, it was fairly busy like any other location but there was literally crumbs everywhere and the ground has so many spills, other food was mixed in with things next to it. It was just a bad look and made my dinner less appetizing. :/I wish they would try to keep it clean. Other than that service was great and workers were helpful and fast!

I love Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes anywhere, anytime. I’ve gone to this specific one on several occasions and it’s usually pretty good. The staff is always smiling and the salad bar is my favorite part. Sometimes the salad isn’t as fresh as other times which is a bit disappointing. The hot food is OK and the selection is decent. Overall I give it a 3.5−4 star. Sign up for the e-mail too, they always send out weekly coupons!

Food: great, fresh food here. Best thing is that it’s unlimited! They have a variety of salads and you can also make your own. Everything here looks so colorful and delicious. They have tons of different soups, Mac n cheese, cheese breads, muffins, potatoes, and soft serve. My favs are definitely the cheese bread and the blueberry muffins. Get extra ranch dressing at the salad bar to dip your bread into. Also, don’t forget to try the honey butter for your blueberry muffins. $ 10 for a weekend lunch. Service: good service here as well. Our plates were definitely stacking up throughout our visit. They were cleared once initially and that was it. You fill up your own water and get all of your own food. Salads are refilled quickly when empty. All food is replenished promptly. Atmosphere: lots of tables here, including some booths. There are few high chairs left when it’s busy, so if you see one and need it, make sure to snag it right away. It gets packed here on weekend nights. Go for lunch to save some cash and hassle of tons of people. Sign up online for their emails and they will send you coupons quite frequently. Parking: lot is large, but always pretty packed. You will have a difficult time finding a spot on weekends. It feels a little tight when trying to park here too so be careful w the cars next to you. Definitely eat here when craving a good salad and you want to carb up. Don’t forget the fresh muffins and cheese bread. Also, make yourself a root beer float by using soft serve and root beer at the soda station.

Souplantation is always a cool place to go. All you can eat soup and salad? Sounds good to me! The featured salads usually rotate every couple weeks, or you can just go make your own with a plethora of different toppings. The«deli salads» are fairly consistent, with the broccoli madness being one of the most popular. The soups can be hit or miss, but a safe one for me is the clam chowder. It goes pretty well with a slice of the sourdough bread from the bakery area. One of the best soups that they offer, is the cream of mushroom soup. You’ll have to visit during the first week of the month to get that one though, since they only offer it at the beginning of the month. One of the things that need to be looked at for the soup lineup, is the ratio of broth to solids. Two of the soups they had were pretty much broth only, since all the solids normally sit at the bottom and are usually the first to go. While the broth had some pretty good flavor, it would have been nice to have the rest of the ingredients to complete the soup. The bakery area usually has a few types of foccacia, a few breads, and some of my favorite item: the blueberry muffin. This is always my go to «dessert» with the little cup of either the maple or honey butters. They have some other things for dessert, a soft serve machine, some different jello type offerings, and some puddings. Overall this is a good choice for eating healthy, as long as you can avoid going overboard on what you eat, with this being an all you can eat buffet restaurant. Sign up for their mailing list for coupons, and to see what they’re offering that week in terms of featured items. Also try to get here before dinner hours, because this place can get packed.

Price is super affordable! But each time I visit I do not get my money’s worth. Staff is professional and attentive to the many costumers that visit, so my stars are for them. Not happy with the soup selections nor the bread. This is my 10th time visiting. Salad Bar is normally why I visit.

Normally would give 5 stars but they don’t have eggs anymore. For me that was the best part of my salad. Hope they bring it back soon. Outside of that, no disappointment.

My kids live this place. It is a good option when you have a bunch of kids. All my kids have different opinions on places to go, but they can always agree on Souplantation. This is our to go place when the kids cannot agree, so we having coming to Souplantation quite a bit lately. There is always something here that one of the kids like. It is healthy if you don’t eat too much, and it does not break the bank.

This is probably my favorite restaurant ever, because I feel like I am stuffing my face with carbs and can balance it out with delicious soups and salads. I personally have a craving for their cream of mushroom soup, even when it isn’t the first week of every month, because it is so f*cking good. I am also a huge fan of their macaroni & cheese(with the new corkscrew noodles) and their apple cobbler with vanilla soft serve. I often feel guilty for eating so much, but it is oh so worth it. I am also a member of Club Veg, where I can get discounts for meals often. Favorites: Cream of Mushroom Soup w/cheese Joan’s Broccoli Madness Macaroni & Cheese w/Bacon Bits Apple Cobbler w/Soft Serve Baked Potato w/Bacon & Cheese Banana Walnut Muffins Kettle Chilli w/Cornbread

Been a fan of this place since I was a kid. Back then some of my favorites were the mac & cheese, & the big chunk chicken noodle soup. I still love those but now I like the other options as well. They recently revamped the place & made it a bit more modern. Some of the things they added that I noticed were some new dressings like the fat free honey mustard which is very tasty, as well as edamame, small wine selection & some local craft beers. Souplantation to me is classic clean eating at a great value. I love the broccoli salad that has bacon & cashews. They also offer three or more pasta choices & flatbreads along with an assortment of other breads. I try to fill up on veggies before I get to those though;) As the name implies, they offer a variety of soups. Some of the ones they always have are the big chunk chicken noodle soup & chili with all the fixings. I noticed that every month they have a few featured seasonal choices. For example this month they featured chicken pot pie soup that is delicious. In the summer months I remember them having a strawberry salad. Of course as you would expect they have a dress your own frozen yogurt area with a few light deserts. I really like that now in addition to the baked potato offerings they now include sweet potatoes. Like I said been going here since I was a kid & still love it the same.

I like Souplantation but the food is overpriced. The coupons they give out suck also. I like how they label everything vegetarian or not and everything tastes good but definately not worth it for the price.

Wow this place has definitely stepped up their game in a good way. The place has a more modern look. Workers wear denim jeans and have a casual look without the formal uniform they once wore which I think is nice. Grab a tray and a bowl and head down the line for salad and additional toppings. My favorite is the won ton chicken happiness salad. There’s 3 salads at the front they usually switch out different ones drpending On the week, month, etc. The counters always seem to be clean and the staff work really hard on clearing dishes off your table as your done eating. The prices have increased, dinner is $ 11. That’s the average price for salad at least it comes with soup, pizza, baked potatoes, muffins, corn bread and other treats. Another plus is they serve beer.

I absolutely loved this chain when I lived in San Diego and that’s saying a lot because I don’t like chains but this place has always had a special place in my heart. I have to admit that the heart grew about two times when I visited one this past week. It’s been an year since I last stepped into one and they have upped their game! They have updated the décor, made everything farm fresh and fantastic and they now serve wine and beer!!! Are you kidding me? I was completely overwhelmed with the changes and the salads and focaccia and soups have remained the same… fresh and delicious! If you’re looking for a family friendly, inexpensive, healthy option for dinner… this is the place for you!

I’ve been to this Souplantation a few times. It’s the one closest to my apartment. It’s Souplantation… what do you expect? Just your typical local one where you can always find coupons in the mail to use for lunch and dinners. Expect a lot of families with little kids, hungry teenagers, or the senior citizen community to be here. Can’t really fail with the food here though! If you want soup and salad, and plenty of it, you go to Souplantation. Just don’t expect a lot of protein unless you only eat the mashed up hard boiled egg in the salad bar, or the giant chunks of chicken at the bottom of the barrel in the chicken noodle soup;) Love they’re blueberries mini muffins with their honey whip butter!

Soup plantation is somewhat of a family tradition, so we end up going here fairly regularly. This location has a nice modern atmosphere, and the food is usually nice and fresh. Especially if you want a massive salad, you can’t beat the value. It’s nice for a group since it is buffet style… everyone can get exactly what they want!

On the occasion of my body is intensively craving copious amounts of vegetables versus meat, Souplantation satisfies my body hunger. After recently making the discovery, they renovated it from top to bottom, the food got a face lift as well. Salad bar has such unlimited amounts of possibilities and I love the fresh vegetables and sophisticated dressings(Raspberry Balsamic Vinaigrette is my fav). The soups lack flavor, but at least every month they rotate and change their menu items, so there’s something new to try. Don’t forget to sign up online for their Souplantation coupons, so you can save a few extra dollars.

I have been going to the Carlsbad Soup Plantation for a number of years. I regularly meet a couple of friends there. Price for lunch is amazing. Usually either $ 6.99 or $ 7.99. Salads are always absolutely fresh and tasty — and plentiful. Many different soups are available; the same goes for the baked potatoes, home baked bread; honey butter(yummy). There’s a huge variety of food — no one could ever leave hungry. Oh, and plus the restaurant is super clean and the staff are amazing.
