I loved the place it was very clean and the people that worked there was nice… Prices were AAA+ I had 2 roles and spent $ 12.22 or some where around there no more then $ 13 I had a spicy tuna roll and some crunchy spicy tuna roll idk the name but look for the pictures I will post. I left a tip but I wish the cheif got it all he did most of all the work. I went on Thursday around 4pm ish. I forgot to mention the place had a bar and tables definitely a family or alone place

I’ve never had quality sushi for a price this good! My husband and I go here for a quick sushi fix. While the ambiance isn’t eye-dropping, don’t judge a book by its cover. Fast service, my drink is always filled, and the sushi is AMAZING. The Las Vegas Roll is my hands down favorite. I would recommend Super Sushi!

Excellent service and VALUE! ! Variety is outstanding and take out party tray is recommended. When i asked about fish sourcing I liked the answer. I almost forgot about this place! I’m glad I came back in. Only reason it’s not 5 is. although it’s EXTREMELYCLEAN, I would prefer to dim the lights and turn up the current romantic style R & B tunes. I’ll come back and tell my friends about this neighborhood gem. Great prices on drinks, too!

Perfect for to-go or a very casual bite. I drop in to Super Sushi about once a week for my quick sushi fix. It’s the perfect local discount spot that’s serving above average flavor & quality. Service is very friendly, very prompt, and all around fantastic. Super Sushi is pretty void of style, so I really recommend takeout only. I have dined in for a quick dinner before, and while it isn’t the worst, there’s a lot left to be desired as far as ambiance goes. Service is excellent & the giant TV showing the game doesn’t hurt, but I still wish they upped the style factor a bit — slip covers over booths are an all-around no-no! **TIP** Avoid the special sauce(looks like gravy) but say YES to the simple rolls & kid’s orange chicken.

It’s hard to get my kids to try new things when it comes to food, but they both love coming here and always ask when we are going back. The place is off the beaten path — sort of tucked in between the other restaurants and shops so it is easy to miss if you aren’t looking for it. The prices are great and the miso is spot on. The sushi rolls that I’ve tried have always been fresh and very yummy. My favorite dish on their menu is actually an appetizer — the pork steamy dumplings. One of the things that comes to mind with Super Sushi is their choice of chopsticks. This might seem like an odd thing to consider, but it’s one of the things that I always pay attention to. Many places use the lacquered or heavy plastic ones which can be slippery and hard to use — especially for the kids. While other places use the very cheap ones that always seem to have little wood shavings coming off them. The management at Super Sushi uses a brand that is made of wood, but is well balanced with no wood shavings — by far these are the best quality choice for a disposable chopstick. It’s little choices like this that I always look for in restaurants, because each choice they make speaks to the care that the management has to their craft and customers, and Super Sushi does a great job hands down.

I was pleasantly surprised. Some of my friends are regulars at the place, I had overlooked this place for many years. The staff was friendly, the prices were great, and the sushi was yummy, I had a scallop roll and rainbow roll and a cup of Miso for $ 13, I was pleased. The décor didn’t bother me, My friends said it as partially redecorated now. I’d recommend the place

The cheapest sushi dinner I’ve ever had! The sushi itself is also very good. We got a dragon roll, crunchy roll, and crazy roll plus 2 beverages all for $ 25. The workers are very friendly and helpful. Worth every penny and will definitely be back!

I have been coming here at least 3x a month for the past 2 ½ years. I absolutely love this place, their food is amazing and the prices are fair for sushi. They recently just remodeled the place and I believe are still in the process of making it better which is literally all this place needed. I give this place 5 stars, for food and price. Staff is extremely friendly and quick service.

They have good sushi, no its not the highest quality or top notch sushi you will ever find but for the price its great. That being said their good sushi is just as good as any sushi place in the area. I’ve been here three times and have always gotten great customer service. All the hosts/waiters are very courteous and polite with great manners. This place is a nice little sushi joint tucked away where I can always get my sushi fix.

With new ownership comes renovations and service that finally match the food quality. They have brand new floors and new booths to come. I’ve been coming here for a couple years & it’s nice to see that they are sprucing up the place. Now with Miguel as the head sushi chef, the quality of the fish has had a major improvement. The service used to be subpar, but has improved vastly within the last months. Staff is super friendly & attentive. The sushi is always good and they have prices you can’t deny. I always get a cup of miso soup, a rainbow & a crunchy roll.

Huge portions, high quality, amazing prices. Period. just overlook the atmosphere being kind of drab and service a little squirrelly lol. They are all nice and kind, just a little short staffed. Lighting needs to be dimmer, need to invest in an actual bluetooth speaker or sound system vs what sounded like an iPhone behind sushi bar lol. Chair covers are tacky but hey Americans like us have high frickin standards, food was seriously tasty and again awesome portions. Recommend!

I recently remarked on the Unilocal Elitist notion of self-importance and being«pleasantly surprised» when eating at certain spots. Well, while passing by this place, I have been subconsciously dissing it all these years. Upon finally girding up my loins and bravely dining, I came up with another phrase for us self-important, Unilocal Elitists to heap upon our reviews. Super Sushi is «impressively average.» When you see sushi restaurant signs proclaiming 50% off all sushi(and selected rolls!), you automatically think two things. One, they probably have lesser quality fish and, two, their prices on the menu are jacked up before that 50% slash in cost($ 8.50 for a pair of sake nigiri, so it’s $ 4.25 now? … seems legit). Anyway, after enjoying Marvel’s latest, and craving raw fish, but only having a few bucks in the wallet, we went over our options and decided to finally give this place a go. Upon first inspection, it really isn’t much to look at. The décor is very drab, the ceiling is stained in multiple places, the chairs are uncomfortable, the booths are cramped, and everything seems … old and faded. Basically, imagine like you are coming to a place that opened in the 70’s and no one ever spruced things up or bothered doing anything but the the very basic of repairs. «Is that mold? Just spray some stucco over it, that should take care of it.» We walked in, ignored how sticky the doorknob seemed, and stepped across faded carpet with a few threads sticking up. There are only a handful of other patrons, most of the place empty on a Friday night, never a good sign. Sitting at the bar, we see fish behind the glass we imagine has that sheen of ‘sitting out too long’ to it and expect the worst. We make a good-sized order, a fair spread of our standard rolls and choice selections off their special menu and wait. What comes out is done quick, is of impressive size, and doesn’t look too shabby. We started with California Rolls, a good indicator of how everything else might be; if they can’t put any care or quality into something this simple that everyone orders, how much better can the rest fare? They were very large, packed with fresh avocado and a healthy amount of crab meat. The end result was sweet, good crunch from nicely cut cucumber, with the right amount of fat, and fell in that nice spot between too dry and overly moist. Not the best tasting California Roll I’ve ever had, but a great start and a nice filler. My biggest complaint was the odd taste to the rice; chilled well, but didn’t seem like it was prepared properly. This didn’t ruin anything, just a nagging thought. Next up was the Salmon Nigiri. This was a small cut of fish, though long, with nothing extra put on top(oh, how I miss my fresh wasabi), and served straight from the slab behind the glass. I don’t expect a place like this to have chilled belly hidden away for such occasions, but this version was still a bit of a letdown. We moved on to the Crazy Roll, essentially a California Roll with cream cheese stuffed inside before being fried and served with Masago and sauce on top. My girlfriend didn’t care for this one, opting to eat her Philadelphia Roll instead, but I enjoyed it. It was messy, the frying doing little to keep the whole of the roll sticking together after being cut, but the sweetness I wanted was there. Again, not by any stretch a great roll, but it was good enough. Last was my favorite, and god help me, but I can’t remember the name of it was. Looking at their menu, nothing really fits what I remember eating and what our pictures seem to be. It looks like a California Roll with a few Shrimp Tempura rolled inside. On top there was fresh salmon, thinly sliced oranges, and a drizzle of both tweeted soy sauce and the spicy mayo. It was surprisingly tasty, and no where can I find an exact match on any Unilocal picture or review. All that, with a drink, enough to feed two hungry people to the point of being pretty stuffed, and the bill was a little over $ 20. That was impressive. So, we came with reservations and ended up leaving happily surprised. It’s by no means great sushi, in many ways it strives to be just«good» while being«eh, it’s alright.» But, all of that alright food for the price, wrapped up in a dive atmosphere, makes Super Sushi impressively average. I know I’ll find myself coming back for cheap and not too disappointing bites from time to time. EDIT: In the month since we’ve been here, they’ve remodeled a bit. The heinous carpet is gone, replaced by wood paneling, there are new covers on the booth seats, though the chairs at the bar are still uncomfortable(am I sitting at 80 degree angle?), and the sushi was better this time around. The rice was made properly and roll choices were good. The Ocean Beach Roll was alright, it loses much of its flavor in the tempura frying, but the Alaskan Roll was brilliant. I have to say, Super Sushi is in danger of becoming a four star place in my eyes.

You simply can’t beat the price at Super Sushi. It’s not the most amazing, jaw-dropping instagram-worthy sushi, but it is good and consistent. This is another of those sushi spots that advertise 50% off the menu. I’m not sure why places do this… just make your overall prices lower and it makes more sense, but it’s fine. With that discount, rolls are about $ 3 – 9. And they’re good! As far as décor, you simply can’t care about that, here. Old draped booths and furniture — but you’re there for affordable sushi, not atmosphere. Some of the rolls are quite unique. There is one with tempura banana that I like a lot. And, the fish is good! It’s never tasted«off.» We go here anytime we’re craving sushi but don’t want to break the bank.

The sushi is «50% off» for a reason, it’s not very fresh. I was served the wrong roll, I didn’t realize that I hadn’t ordered it until I ate a piece — it was not until noticing my look of confusion did the sushi chef admit to making the wrong roll. What prompted me to write a review after a few prior visits is the albacore special roll. The albacore was unsightly and old looking. I tried to smell it, but it was covered in slices of pickled garlic. I find it suspicious that you would need to mask the smell of fish with pungent garlic — needless to say, I didn’t eat more than a piece out of curiosity. The spicy tuna and the garlic were overbearing so I couldn’t taste the albacore that was on its way out. The restaurant is seemingly dilapidated. From the moment you grab the sticky restaurant door handle, sit down on old seat covers, look up at the water-stained ceiling, watching the dust-covered fan blades go round and round — until you go to the restroom with sticky floors to wash your hands, this place could use a makeover. It’s a shame the owners seem to care more about their profit margin, rather than their establishment, employees or customers.
