Love their salads. This location isn’t my favorite because it feels cafeteria like. I love the drinks they offer, different lemonades and teas. Healthy food options. I love their bowls also. Their tofu dishes are great and if you like curry, they have a great curry dish. This location is in the Costco center.

I was there a couple weeks ago– yesterday and I will never come back again… I’m only putting it as 5 stars so that everyone will get the chance to read it! A couple weeks The blonde girl that wears a lot of makeup messed up my order and I tried to have it fixed but she’s way too busy eating nachos(SHEWASN’T EVENONBREAK!!!) She was yelling at the cooks to make her them. I ended up leaving because no one helped me(My fries were seasoned when I told her none) I have been to the one in Irvine and also in la Jolla and at this one in carlsbad and carlsbad by far the dirtiest. The seat cushions are black and don’t look like they have been cleaned at all. The plastic cup I was given had lip stick stains on it and seeds in it like it hadn’t been washed and I felt gross! I’m very disappointed!

Love the different types of teas and lemonade especially like strawberry lemonade! Outside has heat lamps to stay warm. Lots of seating for everyone. This was my first time at veggie grill. I just got home from picking up a to go order and was upset that my crispy grains and greens bowl was missing onions, almonds and carrots. Everything else about the bowl was amazing! My husband got the b-wing salad and it was delicious. I guess I should have checked my order before leaving. Lesson learned! I will definitely give it another try.

I come here when I have a break from school, although I am not vegetarian I absolutely love their food! First dish I had here was the Bombay bowl, if you like curry this is an amazing dish. I also love how this company has seasonal menus that change up every now and then. They offer lemonades and ice teas which have such great flavor compared to other places that sell lemonade/ice tea. This place is also very cute inside and has an area outside that is dog friendly highly recommend this place

I’ve been eyeing the place few times and wasn’t disappointed. The place is clean and has nice seating. There’s also outside patio. I got harvest bowl and kale was fresh and tender and sauce was spot on. Serving was big. You can add chicken and other stuff for extra price. Will come back for healthy yummy lunch.

It is hard to believe anyone could make vegan food unhealthy and awful tasting(for a true vegan) but this place has done it! The roasted vegetables are swimming in grease/fat. The vegan wraps too are greasy and, i believe, they have added sugar to improve the taste. True vegan/vegetarian food needs no added fat or sugar for making it taste good. Stay away from this place! I am still suffering from indigestion.

This place is quite good in service and food. Female staff member recommended the fish tacos and was surprisingly very flavorful and presentation was pretty nice! I was expecting a fastfood-esque medley of messy veggies but it showed up pretty presentable. The guy who dropped my food to the table was nice enough to ask what else I needed. So I give this place some pretty high marks. Restaurant was clean and I was also surprised to see adult beverages served here as well.

First time at Veggiegrill, and we were all very impressed. The«crabcake» sandwich was delicious(the wife and I both got that) and the kids enjoyed thier«chicken» nugget kids meals. The staff was very friendly and everything on the menu sounded good! We will definitely be back soon to try more of the menu!

Everything is vegetarian, but it is all delicious! Great portions with a highly varied menu with everything from«burgers» to Mediterranean style to Asian style bowls. Service is friendly. This is an order-at-the-front-and-take-a-number type of place. Drinks include some delicious specialty iced teas. I’m a big fan of the blackened«chikin.» Outdoor seating with umbrellas and space heaters. Private lot inside the Costco compound.

This is my go-to local vegetarian place. There’s a good selection to choose from with food and the deserts are AMAZING! Would recommend the nachos with taco ‘meat.’ It’s a game changer if you’re on the fence with veggie nachos. The chicken appetizers(buffalo and naked) are also the bomb! The burgers there are decent, but I’ve had better. The deserts are some of the best I’ve had at a vegan place. Tacos are recommended and always good to try a bowl at least once! There’s lots of BOGO deals and discounts too, so sign up for their rewards program!

I love this place! I come here quite a bit when in the area. It’s located in the Costco shopping center off the I-5 and Palomar Airport Road. Parking is a little crowded at times as it’s also located next to a few other popular hot spots(ironically a burger lounge). This is one of the only vegan options in North County but non-vegans enjoy this place too! They have a nice selection of food items(tacos, burgers, salads, bowls, wraps). I really enjoy the macho nachos with extra jalapeños. The wraps and burgers are good. Everything I’ve had is tasty. They have a really good ranch dressing and a spicier version– chipotle ranch dressing. They have strawberry and regular lemonade, flavored sweet teas, and dessert! Their cookies are tasty and I always grab one to go! Seriously though, this place is so good, sometimes I forget it’s vegan. You can choose to sit outside or dine in. Several people actually order to go from here. If I recall, there may have been an app but you can also call ahead. Staff are always friendly and can answer any questions regarding menu items. This is one of the few places I can go and not have to specially request a vegan meal or ask for a substitution. It’s a relief to know that everything on the menu is vegan. And for non-vegans, it’s worth a shot! Just trying to incorporate more of a plant-based lifestyle is easy when you have places like this.

Perfect spot for Vegetarians/Vegans and just those folks looking to increase their intake of fresh plant based gloriousness. It located in the corner of a shopping center with Costco and next door to funny enough, a «Burger Lounge». Vegans and meat eaters side by side! lol Anyways, the food is beyond good for a plant based spot. It’s sauces and cooking method infuse flavor Into the meals so well. I usually always purchase the«Papas Portobello» and a side of roasted veggie or sweet potato fries. A must is a side of there CHIPOTLEDIPPINGSAUCE! Yum! My friend had the children’s Mac and cheese which she said def did NOT taste like«Real» cheese but this review is for my experience so I still give it a 5. I didn’t come here expecting it to taste like conventional processed high fat«real» food; I came here for a fresh, intelligently crafted, naturally flavor packed meal! And that’s what I got! Ps: This spot is NOT really GLUTEN friendly as their buns and all breads aren’t free of gluten. When asked, they said that the only option was to have a steamed kale bed for the toppings.

Awesome! Super fast and friendly service. My review may be slightly skewed, since there are limited vegan options near my humble abode, and I was just so excited to be able to eat everything on the menu. I had the crispy cauliflowe since it seemed to be recommended — it was great. Basically lightly battered cauliflower fried, with some light citrus/vingary/asian inspired dipping sauce. I really enjoyed it. Definitely enough for 2+ people as an appetizer, but I took care of it solo as part of my dinner. Also enjoyed the Bacon Lettuce tomato avocado sandwich — this was a large sandwich, and was good the bread was great. Also had the fries and the salad — nothing special, but still good. Everything was fresh and tasty. The prices were very reasonable. Their menu was great about identifying GF, Soy-free, and other diet limitations. I would come here again in a heartbeat. Just need to get back out to Carlsbad.

Mediocre at best. The menu looks interesting with a broad set of flavors and options. The food didn’t live up to the promise. I got the buffalo ‘chicken’ salad and was thoroughly disappointed. The portion was super massive, as if eating more made up for eating vegetarian. I stuffed myself after barely eating half. The greens were uninteresting. The corn salsa was literally 3 kernels of corn. The avocado was really fresh and perfectly ripe, so that was nice. The faux chicken was fine, but there was way too much dressing, both ranch and buffalo sauce. It felt like everything was drenched in sauce and I couldn’t wipe enough off. It completely drown out all the other flavors, I guess that is why they used boring greens. The staff were friendly enough and the restaurant is very clean. I was generally unimpressed.

I’ve never been a vegan kind of gal, and I wasn’t sure I was going to be satisfied, let alone enjoy, a vegan restaurant. I was really surprised! I went with the Santa Fe Crispy Chickin Sandwich and it definitely exceeded my expectations. I also ordered the sweet potato fries, and they were to die for. And their lemonade was great, too. Overall the food was pretty darn good and while it hasn’t converted me to the vegan side, it’s a place I would definitely eat at again.

Solid vegan fast food. Clean diner like atmosphere. Lots of options, many of them healthy. The burger is good. It’s in a shopping mall so just fast food but for what it is it’s good.

Carnivore in a veggie joint with a burger lounge adjacent to here and In-N-Out a half a mile away. It’s ok Nando, you need to experience this, come in with an open mind. This is what I was saying to myself when I was in here. I also have to say that I owned that Sriracha bottle like it was nobody’s business. What I rocked out here at Veggie grill was a Mexico Mini Wrap, and Sweet fries, which wasn’t to bad. I have to say it was pretty good, and yes I am still a carnivore. Nothing wrong with going healthy every once in a while, got to maintain these days. I could see myself adding places like this to my rotation of places to enjoy a meal. Hip ambiance, cool relaxed vibe to it, the décor had that same look like you were in a Smashburger. I know I just mentioned a spot that is not Vegan friendly, even though they have a veggie burger. I’d come back again to establishments like the Veggie Grill, you guys were ok in my book.

Vegan Fast Food! Sayyyy WHAT?!! Only in America! After attending one of the Unilocal Events, I got a free voucher for a free entrée to try at Veggie Grill. I’m going to be a 1000% honest. If I didn’t get one of those, I doubt that I would of gone! My biggest mistake was going on a Saturday. Why? Well because Costco is in the same parking lot as Veggie Grill and other restaurants. So Saturday afternoon brought back my PTSD of being on the 405 at 5pm when living in L.A. Yes the 405 is the Highway to Hell! So after 30 mins of chaos & hunger, I was OVER it. However by the grace of God, the sky parted, & sun shined down to reveal an empty parking space! Thank God! Finally made my way inside to order the«Chicken» or Chizzeken Sandwich. The ‘ignorance is bliss’ person in me refrained from asking what is in «the chicken»! They brought out my meal & it looked really good! So I thought here goes nothing! Damn! Whatever«meat» made up of the chicken was… SPOTON! Shit tasted like chicken! Texture like chicken! Looked like chicken! Makes me question all of the other chicken I’ve been eating my whole life. Just don’t tell me what you they use if you know! Everything had great flavor and was spicy! I know I could NEVER be Vegan! Sorry I’m Mexican, I love tacos way too much. However although I’m not a converted Vegan-ite, I give them mad props for having some great food here & will definitely bring people here to blow their little minds! Good job!
