Twelve winery is simply one of my absolute favorites for years! The owners, John and Linda are always very accommodating and above all they make amazing Pinot Noir! Don’t go through Carlton without stopping and checking out this awesome little winery.

We were so lucky to catch this place before it closed down for the day! The wine maker’s wife was very patient and accommodating and even gave us some interesting info about the grapes, aging of the wine, and a small history of the vineyard. My mom was able to get a beautiful set of earrings and a necklace assembled by a local artist using antique found objects. The décor and labels were very innovative, and it was nice to get a sneak peek of the restaurant next door and the beautiful art displayed. (The bathroom facilities are available in the connecting French restaurant.) You must make this tasting room a part of your list when visiting Carlton!
