Very disappointed with the quality of the Ice vanilla lattes I have received at the Mcdonalds in Carpinteria. I’ve lost count with how many times they have butchered my coffee drink. The food is good the place is clean but the staff needs to familiarize themselves on how to make coffee please, its your job !

This is the best managed McDonalds I have ever been to. Rosario took care of the order that another McDonald’s location messed up. This is now my favorite location!

This McDonalds is very conveniently located off the 101(though a little hard to see if you’re heading Southbound). I stop here to grab breakfast if I’m in the area, or to use their restroom if I’m on a long drive home. The staff are respectable and polite and the food is typical McDonalds grub. The location is generally clean and well maintained.

No surprises here– regular McDonald’s with good fries and relatively fresh Burgers. Ok pit– stop :)

I’ve been seeing these commercials about a free Big Mac when you but a regular price one after nine, I’ve been dieting so I was excited to make my first meal off the diet a Big Mac and another, so I order and they tell me right when I pick up my burger, oh we don’t have that hear, the owner said we don’t have that special, then he said it’s because that’s only in southern CA, I will provide a map that states what is technically So Cal, and yes the fine print does say at participating Mc Donald’s, so with that being said this shows that this owner doesn’t care about his cliental when he tells his management staff to give excuses instead of giving saving to such a small town where everyone knows everyone, it’s really a sad place, but I do have good news there’s a few Mc Donald’s just north in Santa Barbara that are open 24 hours and do offer all specials they care for the customer and they’re about 10 – 15 mins away. Very worth it, by the way no one ever cleans the restroom at night, I was there for my limit half hour, by the way they have a sign in the entrance to limit your dinning, and although customers reported it over and over again no one cleaned it. So do not use it you’ll lose your appetite

Came here for a quick stop to order a lil caffeine(caramel frappé) for a road trip and quickly realized there is no drive thru! I’ve never seen a McDonald’s without one, but hey, I guess it works for them. I wasn’t inside log enough to review extensively, but it was very clean(always appreciate) and the staff was friendly. I knocked a star off because although my frappé did what it needed to do, it was very watery and not tasty as I know they can be. I cannot review the food.

I can’t help but review any of the cheap fast food establishments as only one or two stars — but this location is convenient and usually has fast service as well as friendly(although not very organized) staff :)

I got my big breakfast fast and it was hot. Great job McDonald’s. I’ll be back to this one. There’s no drive thru because the condos next door complained of a lot of noise. So the city made McDonald’s shut the drive thru down

Sure, the restroom smells like farts. But it’s McDonalds. The whole place smells like farts. They sell farts.

We stopped here on Thanksgiving day while on our way to San Diego. I went into the bathroom first before ordering. As I was washing my hands, an employee came in and used the toilet. He peed, zipped up and walk back out the door. When I came out immediately behind him, he went right into the food service area and started doing something with the trays. Needless to say, we I told the rest of our group, we all left without ordering, never to return.

Hey everyone hating on Carpinteria: Get over it! We are a quaint beach community and we do not have drive thrus, practically no drive thrus throughout Santa Barbara County. I actually like it because it forces you to engage with small business to eat as well as forces you not to be a lazy fat ass and order take out fast food all the time. Even the carl’s jr. in carp is walk in only. It is fine people, walking in to a 24 hr clean as hell Mcdonalds and you still are griping? This Mcdonalds is right off the freeway, across the street is a cheap gas station as well as lots of banks, starbucks, huge cvs and albertsons. This mcdonalds is always clean, fast, and friendly. I love going there on a walk and grabbing a snack size Mcflurry. I have never waited longer than 5 minutes for my order. If you go further south about 15 minutes you will hit Ventura and there you will find a myriad of drive thru lazy fast foods. Enjoy!

If only no stars can be given. This is like the worst McDonalds I have ever been to. The service was sooooo slow and no one cares. Not the manager nor the folks working the cash registers. Ordered my food and it took 30 minutes to get them filled, after at least 5 time asking«where is my order». Meanwhile, all those who ordered after me were picking up their orders, some with the same items as what I ordered. After asking about my order for the umpteenth time, the manager looked over and found my order sitting on the counter waiting to be bagged. Really?! Their fill process is extremely poor and the employees’ nonchalant attitude is appalling. Don’t go there, ever. Skip it. Just keep on driving…

I am also giving this McD’s two stars because there is no drive through. I’m sorry but the point of being a McD’s is to have a drive through so lazy people like me don’t have to get out of our car.

Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been too! It was late at night and nothing in Carp is open after 10 o’clock so I decided to give good ol mickey d’s a shot. They are right next to the freeway and there’s no drive thru! The customer service is poor and the place doesn’t look like it is sanitized and needs the health board to pay a visit. So sad and is a poor reflection of all McDonalds.

Come on, everyone secrelty love mcD’s. I love the mcdouble and the new chicken sandwiches. I am also addicted to the ice coffee. However all the MCd’s in this area are slow and packed with people. This one has a drive through

1) There is no drive through here. 2) The service was slow and bad. 3) It is a pain to get in and out of because of its proximity to the freeway, stop signs, and bad traffic in general. And it only has the one driveway. Skip it. Go further in either direction on the freeway to get to another McDonald’s, especially if you’re going to a quick bite. It’s not to be had here.

No drive-through? And it’s off of a freeway? You’re kidding, right? Nope. And my apologies to my fellow Unilocalers for my influx of fast food-related reviews lately — money is tight!
