I’ve visited Parlez-Vous Crêpe a few times and I will definitely be back for more! So far I’ve tried la Bonne Maman(brie and sliced apples), nutella, and butter crêpes. For me, the Bonne Maman was the standout — truly delicious. The nutella crêpe was delicious if you are in the mood for a sweet crêpe and I’d recommend adding strawberries or banana for some extra goodness. I wasn’t pleased with the butter/sugar crêpe. The joy of such a crêpe is that the sugar melts into the crêpe but it seemed like they used raw sugar which just tasted grainy. The line can get fairly long but it’s certainly worth the wait!

SEXY is the word I would use to describe the flavor of the crepes at Parlez-Vous Crêpe Food Truck. I had the pleasuring of devouring a La Florentine Crêpe this morning while my partner had a La Bonne Maman. Both crepes themselves were soft with a crisp edge wrapped conveniently for the consumer to enjoy without making a mess. The fillings were fresh and appealing to the palate as they each brought a different flavor that when combined, was SEXY. I particularly enjoyed La Florentine more but only because if I were going to consume a crêpe with apple butter, like La Bonne Maman, then I would want to have more apple butter included than what was presented. With that being said, I still give this food truck 5 stars because i enjoyed their creations. I will be returning. Thank you for the experience.

One of the most popular food trucks that rolls up to Duke’s campus. I’m sure that in the past year, I’ve tried every one of their crepes. The lines can become long, so I order from here at night when they’re about to close up for the day. The menu is divided into savory and sweet crepes, with savory crepes including meat or other filling items. Sweet crepes are excellent desserts and I typically get one savory and one sweet crêpe. Extra ingredients can be added to their menu-listed crepes for an extra charge and they serve a few soft drinks, too. As a few other reviewers have mentioned, the crepes are relatively large and work well for Duke students on a food point budget. I wish Duke stores sold bottles of Bonne Maman,

Love this food truck!!! The crepes itself is the perfectly soft texture with crispy edges. All the fillings are delicious, especially the savory fillings as I have yet to try the dessert crepes. I get the Brie and apple quite often, and the sausage egg and greens is delicious as well. I have been many times and the food is always very consistent. My mom insists on me bringing her here every time she comes from out of town!

I tried the savory crêpe today with fried egg, cheddar, caramelized onion & fresh spinach. It was a beautiful balance of flavors. I look forward to the next time!

This place was awesome! Made to order crepes with fresh fillings. So tasty. Worth waiting for in line. I got the Nutella crêpe with bananas, and it was still hot when I bit into it. Soooo good! Find them and eat here.

Got the bananas and caramel crêpe and it was so good. These are traditional crepes, crispy, flat, and folded into a triangle, filled with the perfect amount of fruit. My friend got the nutella crêpe with strawberries(you can never go wrong with nutella). Served from a cute pink food truck with French paraphernalia.

My FAVORITE place to eat. Love the service, love the employees. Eat there every Wednesday and gorge myself on two crepes; one savory one sweet. I call it the crepocalypse :) The staff is super friendly and know my name and order since I go there so much. And the crepes are absolutely delicious and I love that you can see them making them right in front of me.

This food truck is amazing: the food is great, the people are friendly, and the price isn’t too expensive. All of the savory crepes I have tried have been good, but I particularly like the brie, apples, and organic salad greens. For the vegetarians, they offer imitation sausage that goes well in most of the savory crepes. For sweet crepes, I’ve always liked the nutella crêpe or simply sugar and butter. You really can’t go wrong with what you order here. This is a great place to go for a late breakfast on a weekend in Carrboro when they park inside the Glass Half Full parking lot until the early afternoon. They typically set up tables in the shade so you can also eat close by.

The sight of this pink food truck on Wednesdays always brings happiness and long queues; after all, it is one of the most popular and consistently delicious trucks here at Duke. Featuring a selection of savory and sweet, the crepes are a bit on the pricey side($ 10 savory, $ 6 sweet). My favorites are the Bonne Maman and the Napoleon, with leafy greens, cheese and tomatoes/green apples aplenty. You can add ham or veggie sausage for some extra cost. Dessert favorites include the Nutella crêpe with fruit, banana being a good combination. Sizes are pretty big; one crêpe is a decent dinner for me. You walk up to the window and order(for students we use food points) and wait around for our name to be called. It’s pretty cool to see them making the crepes especially in spreading the batter. My only complaint would be that there is always a line, but that’s about it.

I used to live in Los Gatos CA. There was a great little restaurant that specialized in crepes. Nothing compared until I tried Parlez– Vous. The crêpe was cooked perfectly and the batter was delicious. I had strawberries and whipped cream cheese. Heavenly.

Tried them for the 1st time last week, the Napoleon and the dessert crêpe with strawberries. The Napoleon was marvelous, meat, cheese, hot, good flavour. I had to learn how to unwrap and eat it, this is no ordinary grab and go lunch. The dessert crêpe was a bit more difficult to eat … very gooey and sort of came open and apart on me. Delicious, but … probably better suited for fork ‘n knife and plate. I hope to get more. I just wish Unilocal would let us check in with food trucks. Grrrr… :(

Great crêpes made to order and easily transported for breakfast on the go. They have desert crêpes for ~$ 4 and more filling omelet crêpes for ~$ 7.

I would give Jody 5 stars for her friendliness and 2 stars for the yumminess of the monthly crêpe that I tried today. The monthly crêpe I tried was a savory one with roasted turkey breast, homemade cranberry-apple chutney, toasted pecans, and swiss cheese. The crêpe was huge and thin. Kind of gooey in the middle and just cooked on the outside. Nothing stood out for the flavor. I have had better ones that had better texture(chewer) and flavorful(eggy-er). The filling was fresh, I could tell, but for some reason, they stayed separate from each other and did not come together as a whole — the chutney slipped away from the turkey, and the toasted pecan pieces were on the verge of falling off every bite I took. The amount of Swiss cheese they used was almost undetectable, not able to at lease create some cheesy-ness in the crêpe. And it was a good $ 8! I could have made some better crepes with that amount, to be honest.

This is my second favorite food truck in the Triangle area. Food trucks are a big thing around here, and Parlez-Vous Crêpe is one of the more original food trucks. Generally, a couple of sweet ladies will promptly serve authentic crepes up to people for a reasonable price. They have a savory menu, which is more expensive and filling as well as a sweet menu, which is very cheap, and sweet, but not very filling. I try to hit this place up every other week when they drop by Johnny’s for a couple of hours. The food is great, the prices are cheap, and it’s the only placeI know of around here that one can buy Crepes.

This place is totally LEGIT! I can’t get over how fresh, fast made to order, locally sourced and still affordable this darling little food truck is. There need to be more of this amazing trucks everywhere. Can we get one in Charlotte too, please? Some local friends brought me here for a quick lunch. I ordered the Florentine(?) savory crêpe, which came with: Organic Baby Spinach, Feta Cheese, Caramelized Onions, Tomatoes, and Balsamic Vinegar. Plus I added veggie sausage. Yes! My favorite thing about Parlez-Vous Crêpe? Super vegetarian friendly! If I remember correctly around 75% of the menu was vegetarian. Ahh, happiness.

You may be thinking — how authentic and/or how good can a French crêpe come from a food truck! Well — Parlez-Vous does it authentic and does it well. My kids love the sweet crepes with either Nutella or their whipped peanut butter/fluffy with chocolate chips. And the addition of fresh strawberries or bananas hit the spot take them up another notch. Their savory crepes are yummy as well. They usually have a crêpe-of-the-month special to keep up variety. And they at least appear to be toward the healthy side as well. They are a bit pricey but worth it!

The first crêpe I had here was nutella. That is when I swore I would never come back here. Seriously — $ 5 for just some chocolate spread in crêpe batter? But I came back today because the food truck was conveniently on campus and I was running late to my meeting. I got the apple butter with apple, brie and chicken one and it was delicious(9 bucks). It’s funny because I was standing in line for 15 minutes waiting for the darn crêpe and thinking okay, a crêpe really shouldn’t take this long. I’m going to give them a terrible Unilocal review and never come back here again… right then the owner handed me back 2 dollars and said«sorry, because we are running out of batter I couldn’t make your crêpe as big as I usually would have. I will give you back a couple of dollars.» Aw, it was so nice of them! Still iffy due to its price and sustainability(you’ll get hungry soon), but I think I will give them another chance.

I’ve been having a love affair with crepes for the last oh. three years or so. I stopped by Johnny’s a while back to try out a crêpe one weekend, and fell in love with yet another savory crêpe! This one had brie and apples! and. Arugula! most of my favorites, all wrapped into one. Then, I began to notice that they’re next to GlassHalfFull every Saturday morning(in mild weather). Given that its where I typically end my weekly long run, its natural to want to refuel with a snack, right? So the Crêpe Food Truck deserved another visit for that. And it was just as wonderful as I remembered — they use high quality, very fresh ingredients, and wrap it all up into a package that is almost artistic. I have yet to try out a dessert crêpe, but I can definitely tell you that its GOING to happen!

I must say crepes to go is an interesting idea! However, i think it is more a novelty than a sustainable food option. We hit up this food truck during a Carrboro weekend rodeo and was definitely delighted by their strawberry and chocolate crêpe. While it was very light and tasty, it was nothing more than a snack and slightly hard to eat out of a paper sleeve. I think I will habe to give them another shot, and this time actually eat a crêpe meant for lunch or breakfast. Regardless, I am a fan!

So crepes and I have never really understood each other. Me: I feel like a yummy meal that’s not a sandwich or a taco or a gyro… Crêpe: I’ma fill you up for 30 minutes, and then you’ll be hungry again! Anyway, I decided to get a dessert-y crêpe to finish off my food truck feast at the recent Carrboro rodeo. They had three on offer, and I picked the raspberry & dark chocolate. For $ 4, it’s a neat treat — the filling folded inside and packaged conically in paper. I don’t know that raspberries are in season(?), but this crêpe made them taste like they are! It was juicy and tart, with a heavy hand on the chocolate(which is just the way I like it!). Four stars!

I think I have mentioned before that I love crêpe. It’s been a stable part of my diet back when I lived oversea. So when I saw Parlez-Vous Crêpe parked in front of Al’s Garage, which is Chapel Hill at the intersection of W. Franklin and E. Main and S. Merritt Mill, along with other amazing food trucks –Poncho’s Taco, Blue Sky Dining, Only Burgers, and also Will and Pop’s– you know I have to check it out. [Selection] From the menu, I ordered the following: La Florentine(filled with organic baby spinach, caramelized sweet onion, feta cheese, tomatoes, to which I also added mushroom, flavored with balsamic vinegar), and two sweet crepes, the more conventional Nutella(and you get a choice between banana or strawberry slices… you want to pick banana, trust me) and Raspberry preserves & shaved dark chocolate.(See the business photo if you want to check out other selections on the menu) [Taste] Never mind the fact that this amount of food was too much for one person to consume, the crepes were quite delicious. La Florentine was flavorful, spinach, onion and mushroom work well to tone down the strong Feta taste; The nutella and banana? that’s the kind of savory that stay on your tongue for a while after you long finished; Raspberry and dark chocolate was just an indulgence for a chocolate fan like me. [After-thought] It would be remiss of me not to mention the following: while I praise their taste, and their presentation was well, IMO, they can pack in a bit more content because I felt like I can taste the ingredients, but not really eating the ingredients. Also, it was regretful the quality was not consistent; while some crêpe was packed well, some were not wrapped so neatly, and for savory crêpe that contain a number of ingredients, it was quite messy to finish from the first bite to the last without a few napkins. Overall, I would give 3.5 Star, and since the rating system does not allow half star, I would just add another half for the warm reception from the proprietor.

I’ve had 3 kinds of crepes here, and they’ve all been delicious. Right up there with the Vancouver sidewalk crepes, which is my gold standard. My favorite all around one is the egg, caramelized onion & cheddar one(it’s on the menu, but I skip the spinach). The apple, brie, greens & apple butter one and the November crêpe of the month(turkey, swiss, cranberry-apple chutney, crushed pecans) were both fun, tasty & seasonal. It’s best to fold it up and wait to eat it, so the cheese melts into the rest of the filling. Yum. Owners are great. Love the crêpe truck!
