A disclaimer: I’m not sure I could give any decent shaved ice stand less than five stars. I’ve enjoyed the delectable combination of shaved ice and flavored sugar syrup since I was a little kid. The only bad snow cone is one that doesn’t have enough syrup. The more syrup, the merrier I am — and Ben’s isn’t stingy in this regard. Even better, there are over fifty flavors to choose from. The truck/​trailer is parked outside the Calvander Service Center on weekday afternoons. A small will set you back $ 2, a medium $ 2.75, while a large is about $ 3.50. In these 90+ degree summer days, this hits the spot perfectly.
