Toledo’s

I only went to this place because the guy that reviewed this place before me said it was like Mission St. in SF. I must say that this is better then any of the American burrito places around here (Chipotle, Moe’s, etc.) but I can in no way shape or form say this is like the authentic Mexican spots on Mission Street. I only tried the burrito especial but I’m pretty sure everything else would not live up to par either. One thing that really threw me off was that they topped their salads with mayonnaise, gross. The place is grimy and cheap but not amazing. Also, no one in the store speaks a lick of English so be prepared to dig through the back of your brain for the little bit of Spanish you can remember.

Grimy and cheap, this takes me back to the Mission District in San Francisco. I am so glad to find something real, versus the local hipster imposter’s.
Try the Gorditas, AWESOME.
