It’s a cute space and the service is good. Prices are very reasonable. But they have a very heavy hand with spices and seasoning. The massaman curry with the roti was tasty but very sweet. The pad see ew was also extremely sweet, which is a shame as otherwise it would have been a great dish. The spicy bamboo dish was very spicy and heavily sauced.

Ordered the duck spring rolls, curry puffs, drunken noodles and mixed pork special. The food was amazing with great flavour and spice coming through in the main dishes. Surprisingly it was fairly quiet for a sat night but was really pleasant sitting by the open doors. Great for people gazing! Very reasonably priced food and very delicious. My top would be to go with Mild… We ordered medium and it was freakin spicy! Be warned…

This was for delivery. The order took about an hour. But when it arrived it was hot. Dumplings were really good, really crispy on the outside and good flavor. Pineapple fried rice was also pretty yummy. I’d definitely order again but might try to think she’d a little since the delivery time was a little more than I expected on a Monday night.

Tried giving this place a shot. Never again. Food was over hour and half late, called to ask where it was and was hung up on twice. Lady was so rude and inconsiderate about the delay. Will never order again from there.

BEST Thai food I’ve ever had, their appetizers are amazing. Favorite dish has to be drunken noodles– they make it super spicy if you tell them too.

This is my go to whenever I’m working in the Carroll gardens area in Brooklyn. Their customer service is superb and all their dishes are delish! Highly recommend the Chive pancakes and their curry dishes are all good. The pad thai is good as well but I always get that in other Thai restaurants but in this one I like all the flavors they add in the curries. Luv this spot

We frequent this spot, eat in and delivery, and have never had an issue. Delivery is always fast(lunch and dinner) and food is hot. When we eat in, the staff is super nice and attentive. The restaurant is very cozy and clean, including the bathroom. Food is presented beautifully and is delicious. My favorite is the Rama Thai seafood for dinner(squid for lunch). Seafood is fresh and delicious. Thai green salad with the peanut sauce dressing is so good. Actually, anything with the peanut sauce is fabulous. Thai iced coffee is always my go to drink. When you eat in, the drinks come in a really cool mason jar cup that makes the Thai iced coffee look amazing. Usually, I dig right in and forget to take pics, will get some next time.

I came here for lunch with my infant, and the waitress were really nice and accommodating. I ordered the thai salad, and dumplings which were tasty. I had the massaman curry for my entrée which was really delicious. I also got a thai ice tea which was refreshing and sweet. In addition, they were paying some nice R&b which added to the atmosphere. I came here previously for takeout and ordered the pad see ew which was also good. I will definitely come back here in the future.

Solid, flavorful, tasty Thai joint with very reasonable prices and attentive waitstaff. The Pad Cha was pleasingly hot and spicy, the green curry a bit too sweet for my taste, but respectable. Lunch deals were a real bargain!

I love finding new restaurants near me so I was excited to try this place. Thaism is super casual and kind of cosy. The food was really good and in terms of portion and price it was perfect. My lychee iced tea was the best I’ve ever had. I hope these guys do well specially in an area full of thai restaurans. PROTIP: lychee thai iced tea Per Person: $ 25-$ 35 inexpensive

Ordered for delivery from our work office — Had the Red Curry w/beef lunch special. comes with salad or soup and an appetizer. Chose salad(small, fresh and peanut sauce it came with was abundant in quantity and taste) and spring rolls(good, crispy); also included jasmine rice w/entrée. Delivery came relatively quick on a Monday Lunch time window(about 20 mins). Food was good except for two things; difference of opinion but thought the lunch size portion for them is much smaller, especially compared to the other thai restaurants we order take out from(minus 1 star). My food was spicy, didn’t ask for it — some of my co-workers did some didn’t. We feel they mixed up which entrees were to be spicy. The sweet and spicy sauce given for the spring rolls tasted weird and distasteful(although my coworker enjoyed it). Hence minus another star. Still recommend !

Got delivery from this place. Knowing how quality turns out when things are delivered, I avoided the noodle dishes and went for what was called the Pineapple Fried Rice Lunch Box. This lunch special came with a choice of house soup or salad, and few appetizer choices. I choose the Taro Wonton which is pretty much fried wonton with taro stuffing, which also came with sweet and sour sauce. You also are required to choose a protein which I choose chicken. For $ 10 plus tip, this is a pretty good deal and tastes wonderful. I will be keeping tabs on this place next time I order delivery.

Flavourful, good portions and reasonably priced. They don’t skimp out on the meat which is a plus, and veggies seem fresh. Not too greasy or salty either. However, delivery took 1h15−1h20 and food arrived cold.

Thaism is superb and has now become my new default Thai eatery, after my old favorite has lost it’s ways. It’s an underrated establishment that recently scored really high on a visit for myself and a few friends. If you enjoy Thai food to any degree, you’re going to enjoy Thaism… a whole lot. A rainy Saturday night walking down Smith St. led us to Thaism. The restaurant had plenty of seating, which was pleasant. This restaurant is not a scene, nor does it try to be with the vibe they present. Granted, it does appeal greatly to my minimalist tastes with the interior design route they’ve chosen to go with. If you like flash and noise, this is not the place. The mural on their wall is worthy of note; real nice piece of art. To top it off, their playlist was actually an interesting blend of Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline among others, as opposed to the usual cookie-cutter generic house snares you hear ad nauseum in so many Thai restaurants around the city. Every dish ordered was either great or exceptionally great. Some were downright awesome. Sprinkle in a few more positive adjectives to get the whole idea. The chicken wings with chili sauce and the crispy duck salad rose above the rest of the appetizers and could even be labeled as ‘exceptionally awesome’. Entrees that were massive hits included the roasted pork with fried egg(careful, it’s a bit on the spicy side, I found it perfect, however), masaman curry, squid pad thai and beef pad see ew. Along with excellent prices(I remember paying these prices at my old spot in 2009 – 2010), and an appealing drink menu, I think it’s a matter of time before Thaism has a line out of the door.

Went there today for my lunch — had the beef pad se eww. My salad that came with the lunch special had a literal glob of dressing. Like, they took a soup ladle and poured warm peanut dressing all over. Inedible. Everyone else near me with salads didn’t have that problem. They had a light drizzle of dressing. I don’t know what the hell that was about. Won’t go back.

Had a very nice, quiet dinner here last night with my best friend. It’s a lovely neighborhood, with many small places around to have intimate discussions and meals in. I ordered the pineapple pad Thai, which is a favorite of mine at any Thai place I go to. It came out hot and delicious, and we sat at a nice sized table overlooking the Smith Street strip. By candlelight we spoke and ate and had a wonderful time. There was no rush, the waitress came to check on us frequently, and the ice cream! Oh the ice cream was soooo good! This place is surprisingly inexpensive for the area; for two plates, a soup, drinks, and two ice creams, we spent just under $ 40.

I ordered their chicken tom yum noodle soup for delivery. My food arrived fast and still piping hot. I prefer wide rice noodles, but these thin ones tasted just as good. The chicken was pretty dry, but at least there is virtually zero chance of getting salmonella from undercooked meat. The broth, though, was quite delicious: a good balance of spicy, sweet, and slightly sour without excess greasiness. Tom yummy! Really the perfect Thai broth.
