The northern Carrollton location is now S&S Catering, which does mostly only catering, but since I walked in they were more than willing to hook me up with some fresh channa masala and veggie fried rice for one. It was enough for two meals, and a decent price. Great flavor, and very friendly, helpful service. They were able to cater to all of my crazy allergies, and did it with a smile. I’ll definitely be back to this location. Delicious meal!

The restaurant is not a place to go for the ambiance since it is a few formica tables adjacent to an Indian grocery so the food must be the star. Be advised that while I have been to India I am far from an expert on Indian food. I had the Chicken Biryani, a dish I am not familiar with. It was average at best and served in a Styrofoam to go container and with a plastic spoon. The spices seemed authentic but the dish lacked moisture and was a huge heaping of rice with a small amount of chicken cooked in it. The Naan bread was very good and while I’m not hungry I won’t be back.

The naan bread is delicious and huge! The portions are smaller but the food is filling. It’s a tiny little place but totally worth a stop!

Im a vegetarian and really like the dal fry. Their new item, masala fries is really good, fresh cut potatoes with indian masala. Fresh tandoori naan made to order. They run specials on biryani every now and then. Check them out!

This is a To-Go restaurant not a dine-in. I had a chicken biryani and it was ok. Not the best but it was better than many other places. They also have free chai which is good.

I used to love this place; the food was great, emphasis on «was.» Now, I would not feed this«food» to a starving dog. If I could give it negative stars I would. Better to go next door to Chili Thai.

Haven’t had too much Indian food in the past, but this place really exceeded my expectations. I’ve gone back multiple times and everything I’ve gotten has been excellent. I got butter chicken the first time because the guy working there recommended it to me. The portions are hefty and it’s a great deal. The only downside is there really isn’t much space to eat inside, but I will definitely be coming back for take-out again.

NOTEOFHONESTY***** I am probably only giving the Fourth Star due to the convenience that this place is about 10 mins from my home. As I’ve only tried the Samosas. I’m sure the rest of their Indo/paki specialties are just as awesome though! .;) I love Samosas. I love Apna Bazaar Samosas. Apna Bazaar is about 20 minutes south on Old Denton rd from my home. Suddenly the ex Head Chef opens his own place called Apna Grill just 10 mins down Old denton from my home! I like that! :) Same Samosas! Fresh! Call your order in ahead of time. Not a very creative name considering the staff once worked at Apna Bazaar but thats not really any of my concern. Good Samosas. I like that! Uncreative name I don’t like that. Will they change their name just for me. Probably not. I dont mind that. Because theyve got good Samosas and I like that! :) P. S. this is more a takeaway type of joint, … Unless you want to sit in a hot room with only a small electric fan going besides a group of sweaty old Pakistani men… I don’t like that! You better get your takeaway form here soon… Because its so nearby my house and I need this place to stick around! ;)
