Great, locally-owned business with friendly employees and affordable prices. Clothes are always ready on time and there’s never an issue with broken buttons, colors fading, etc. EDIT: They raised their prices in February 2015. They’re not as affordable as they used to be — more on par with any other cleaner.

My family and I were using Ritz Cleaners for the last 15 years. This week, I dropped off four bags of clothes, and waited to get my count. He said, don’t worry, he’ll do the count on his own and put it towards my account, and I could pick up everything the next day after 5. I kindly told him, «No, I really should get my count.» He said I would have to wait 20 minutes because he has a lot of other things to do. Confused, I said okay… that’s fine. On my way to work, I got a call from home saying I grabbed a bag of clothes we were supposed to donate, about 30 – 40 t-shirts and shorts. I immediately started calling Ritz(mind you, less than 20 mins after I dropped them off). No answer. I called throughout the day, with little worry because I knew I was late in the queue, and they wouldn’t work on it till the next day anyways. I called at least 10 times. Once I got back in the area after work, I stopped by and said«Hey, I gave the wrong bag. That was supposed to go to charity.» He was like«Oh, its too late. I can’t just go digging.» I offered to help them in the back, because there was NOWAY I was going to pay for cleaning t-shirts meant for donations. He looks at his computer and acts to hit a couple buttons and says«Oh, they’re already done.» I said«okay, let me pick them up then.» He said, «no I have to pick them up the next day after work.» He even had the audacity to say«Yeah, I saw that you were calling us all day today(caller ID), but we really don’t answer the phone here.» He knew exactly what the problem was but continued to be difficult. I guess we’ve never really questioned them in their pricing, policies, etc., so they probably thought we’d just pay and continue with our loyalty. The mistake, yes, was mine to drop off the wrong bag. But charging me $ 3 per tshirt is ridiculous. Long story short: we’re done with these guys.

I had a leather jacket I wanted dry cleaned and they said they won’t do leather items. I wanted all of my other items laundered but they dry cleaned half of them. The ones they dry cleaned, they got none of the stains out. When I asked why they said they couldn’t get them out without ruining the fabric. I told them I shouldn’t be charged for dry cleaning then, but she wouldn’t budge. Total waste of money.
