I am a big fan of Agha Juice and their Falooda, so when a new place opened up next to it I was excited to try it out. The Ice Creams and Faloodas are very tasty, but many times this place stinks, especially behind the counter. Not sure if they don’t clean it properly, but last two times I could not stay inside their shop for more than 5 minutes. Also, the guy behind the counter seemed not wanting to be there on a Friday night, guess he wanted to go and party. I believe the Mango Falooda is too mango-y and chocolate falooda is too chocolat-y.LOL Overall a good place for Indian/Pakistani dessert. They also serve some snack items, that I have not tried. But I am not going to go there again, until they get rid of the stench!

I was sitting in the passenger’s seat of my boyfriend’s car heading to H-Mart when I saw an intriguing sign; it said«Baloch» and the subtitle stated that they were a provider of ice cream and juice. «I ABSOLUTELYFREAKINGLOVEICECREAMANDJUICE!!!» I screamed at the top of my lungs as my boyfriend cringed at the impact of my sudden outburst. «We must go,» I said, ignoring his pleas for mercy. Just kidding! He said, «Sure, whatever you want, babe,» and so it was. Inside I was greeted by very friendly staff, and ordered myself a manga falooda and a chicken sandwich item and a wrapped item(I simply can’t remember the names– I am inept) and they were VERYTASTY. The woman at the counter who I think is the owner was also kind enough to listen to my request to hold off on the almonds because I am allergic to almonds. I’ve always enjoyed bubble tea, but this new sensation with noodles in the drink and the falooda was ASTOUNDING!!! It costs quite a bit more than a bubble tea, but I have decided if I ever have enough money to spare and I am craving mango and Indian chicken flavors, I will go to Baloch. I will try more flavors once I become more brave and am willing to part with my favorite mango/chicken combination, but I don’t think that time will come any time in the near future.

I saw a friend post a picture on one of the many social networks I’m a part of. It was this green treat with ice cream on top. With the crazy sweet tooth I have, I had to check it out immediately! It different and yet so yummy! I was intrigued! So yes, I came in that very same day. Thank goodness they’re open late! Till midnight practically every day! I’ve never had Pakistani dessert before so the menu was pretty daunting but Maha, one of the owners, was extremely helpful by explaining EVERYTHING in such full detail. She sold me on the Chole when she told me it was«street food» and just a snack. Sounded so authentic. It’s a snack made with chick peas topped with a greek yogurt. It’s a chilled snack but so refreshing. Trust me! Since it was my first time trying the desserts, I asked her what her favorite one was. She told me her favorite is the VIP Gola which is the pistachio flavored dessert. This was the same dessert my friend posted as well! So many flavors but go so well together. I’m definitely coming back to try the other desserts and try one of their sandwiches as well! This is definitely a nice change of pace from the all the froyo joints. Be open minded and check this place out. Expand our taste buds a little!

Tasty, filling faloodas & ice cream. Friendly staff. They also serve a couple of chat/snack items — the ones we tried were not that great. But the falooda was awesome — will go back again when I drive by Carrollton.

I like the Chikoo Ice Cream as well. The lady who owns this place is so nice and very helpful. She explained so politely what all the flavors were. Most of their flavors are in Pakistani language i. e Chikoo. She told me that Chikoo was actually an East Asian fruit that is actually healthy for you. After tasting all the unique flavors Chikoo was my favorite. It has that sweet cinnamon taste but not as strong kinda close to Chai. The kinda owner also told me that their ice creams have less calories then regular ice cream. Its not like American Ice Cream but more like Pakistani/India Ice Cream. Sounds interesting right? They also have food items that looked good as well. My next visit I will try their Falooda, which is parfait type of dessert(green drink in the pics) Location is two stores from Fox Hair(my hair salon, Andy is awesome!)

The ice cream is great here, especially chikoo flavor. The falooda is good too but it’s a little too much for me. It would probably be better shared with someone else. I haven’t had a chance to try anything except ice cream yet, but the prices are low enough that even if it wasn’t great tasting I wouldn’t feel bad about spending the money. The same woman has been there every time I have gone in and is very friendly and helpful in choosing what to get and explaining what all the flavors are. One thing to be aware of is that they apparently are not aware of all the Unilocal promotions. I bought a $ 10 for $ 5 gift certificate from Unilocal deals and they did not honor due to having no gift certificates yet. She said she had not even heard of it before, but that I should come back again and she would honor it.
