Get the matcha green tea waffle! I shared it between 4 people, including myself. It was delicious and enough to feed us. The green tea ice cream and waffle itself were tasteful and not too heavy for a dessert. Korean desserts always beat American desserts for me because of the fact that it doesn’t make you feel like crap afterwards. The environment here is fitting for groups to hang out and catch up or study/work.

Nice two story café to sit down for some snacks and drinks. The Green Tea Waffle is a must try. The Fish Waffles with custard are not too bad either. Great place for groups of friends to hang out or study, and even for a date with your significant other.

3.6 so much potential so the place is gigantic and spacious. girls will appreciate that its actually warm. really surprised me. maybe until they see the heater bill? who knows i got the mini japanese waffles aka taiyaki which i love in general. theirs is really good. honestly itd be good even without red bean or custard in my opinion staff is super friendly and excellent. pretty i might add too the issues: wifi is non existent and horrific. not sure if its everyday but it was when i went. not a big deal the bathroom is atrocious. im a guy so that says a lot. no soap and no paper towels that were drenched by being placed next to the sink. any true F&B person will note how important the bathrooom is bc the bathroom is a reflection of the rest of the place tables were bussed and left dirty for hours. there were two in particular and one had fruit flies or gnats like it was a pile of rotten apples. true its not their fault that someone left their crap on the table but someone should be going around at least once an hour to scrub tables, because if they did, they’d notice these two tables. by the number of fruit flies or gnats id assume that there have been a few families that have been able to grow up off unattended leftovers so much potential and not much to fix. JEANS: OK by far ORDER: at counter

This place is one of my to go place when I want something sweet or need to study! They have two storeis so they have a lot of open spaces/tables where you can get your work done but if you need a plug I recommend grabbing a table on the first floor along the wall(it’s a bit difficult trying to get the booth upstairs with the plug since there’s only 1 or 2!). Their coffee is okay… your typical Korean café coffee but I their desserts are AMAZING. Their Green Tea Waffles is yummy and it comes with a generous amount of fruits and green tea icecream! Their Macaroon icecream is super good too! I’m not a big fan of the macaroon part of it but hey… it looks pretty! Oh, and if you like red bean they have the red bean icecream you can put in your macaroon! The reason why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I recently had wifi connection issues(the last 2 times I stopped by). I asked the worker if they knew what was going on with the wifi and they just shrugged… okay I guess… Besides that, it’s a super cute café to stop by to get sweets!

This place is huge! Plenty of seats inside, but it can be crowded at times. Service is relatively fast — I haven’t had a bad experience yet. I do have to say that the coffee is a little pricey for me. That being said, I am a college student. So I’m all about being cost conscious. I come here to work on things such as papers, assignments, etc. The wifi has worked well for me. And the big tables give you plenty of space to lay things out! However the place can be a little loud at certain times. I’d expect that with how big the place is. And the volume of the music can be a little distracting.

I love this place. It’s decorated beautifully and it’s two story’s with lots of booths. The deserts are always delicious. I love the macaroon ice cream sandwiches, the shaved ice with ice cream is awesome!, the waffles are really good and the little fishies is a must! Sometimes there’s a decent wait to get your food but I think it’s totally worth it. With all of the delicious food in the area I almost always find room in my tummy to come here and relax and eat

I was confused when I first arrived as to why more people weren’t here on a Saturday night as the décor of this place is really quaint and cute. But after a little while, I didn’t really care to stay much longer myself. I ordered a hot chocolate and a dozen custard fish. It’s pretty hard to mess up on hot chocolate, but unfortunately, they managed to do so. Very powdery and reminiscent of Hershey’s chocolate syrup flavor. I had high hopes for the custard fish, but those turned out to be mushy and mediocre as well. We probably won’t be returning as there are better coffee/cafes in the same plaza.

I love coming to this place! Their cutely decorated and 2 story coffee house is a great place to meet people, hang out and/or do some work or study. I love their waffles and snow ice too!(Snow ice is super rare and the other time I have had it was in Seoul!)

So in my experience this place has always been a solid representation of what is right in the world of dessert waffles and custard fish. They make multiple varieties of this delicious concoction. Some of them include 1. Green Tea Waffle 2. Chocolate Waffle 3. Strawberry Cheesecake Waffle Each of the above flavors are waffles made with said flavor accompanied by said flavor ice cream on top decked out with fruits and some syrup. Sh*t is off the chain guys. I love the green tea waffle, which is why it’s number 1. There are other flavors but I’m not here to write the menu. Their coffee is acceptable but their boba milk tea isn’t. The ambiance is pretty nice because it feels like a open air French Café. In the center they used to have a fountain, which has recently been replaced by tables for more seating. There is an upstairs and downstairs should you feel the need to people watch from above. I’ve seen my friends eat sandwiches from here but really I have not heard anything amazing on that front. My recommendation is to stick with the waffles and custard fish, which you should only order in the large size. Custard fish come out very hot so please don’t burn your tongue. Or do, whatever floats your boat.

As you walk in you can smell the sweet treats and coffee. However no one greets you or tell you that the physical menu is not on their top wall, so if you want an actual menu it is next to the cashier. This is more of a Korean dessert so it can be a little confusing on what to order. They keep their menu short. The basic coffee, and Korean treats. You have your bake goods and the ice cream is topped over flavored waffles. This place is definitely different from your average ice cream parlor. They have exotic flavor such as green tea ice cream and green tea macaroons. If you want a quiet peaceful place to do work with free wifi and enjoying your coffee, this is definitely worth the stay for dessert and coffee. The décor on the inside is nice and simple and it feels very cozy. Each waffle dessert is about 10 dollars and most people share. It’s just a shame that I was a little lost on what to order the first time in. Also would be more helpful if the staff was happy to great you and help you on your order. I would definitely recommend reading Unilocal reviews and looking at photos before you make a decision. But it’s just sweets so I guess whatever you choose will be tasty :) they also have bags of baked goods you can buy to take home. I left satisfied and would definitely come back.

Food — 3 Service — 3 Value — 3 Walking into this place and seeing the pictures of the items we could order made me feel like this might be a place I might frequent more often in the future. We ended up ordering the Cookies N Cream waffle, and it actually was a bit of a disappointment to me – I did not feel the ingredients paired well together and found the waffle rather stale tasting. I might be willing to give this place another try if some friends wanted to go there or meet up there, but wouldn’t go out of my way on my own.

I love trying new places so when I go out of town I ALWAYS get a hankering for some boba milk tea. To Unilocal I went in search of boba. I did a few different searches and this lace popped up a few times. There were NOT many as I suspected since I was in Dallas! But the fact that they had any I was happy. So I hopped in my car to head over. And sure enough I COULDNOTFIND the place. Have you EVA tried to find a place in one of those GI-NORMOUS strip malls that are spread out. Well this was that place and it was at night. Most of Texas didn’t seem to have much in the way on lighting for at night so it didn’t make it easy to find. I was up and down the strip mall. Driving in and out through and behind and STILL no CAFEBROWNSUGAR! Where could it be, had it closed? So in my last ditch effort I went to another bakery that was near it and on my way out after getting my Thai milk Tea I mentioned there not being very many milk tea/boba places around and the young lady mentioned it was around the corner. Somehow I had missed this corner/block but anywho I decided to come back tomorrow. Next day I went back for my dessert after lunch and sure enough it was right where the young lady said it was. I parked and walked in and it was a GEORGSPACE! This two story, almost warehouse feel was SUPER open and had an awesome skylight. All the seating was around/near the outer walls both up and down stairs. SUPERCUTE little place! The counter to order is straight to the back as you walk in. They have a REALLYNICE menu. This place is located in in Dallas’ K-Town. They sale different Korean/Taiwanese breads and treats sort of like a mini 85 bakery. REALLY mini like one long table and that is it. They also have different cakes and some mini one or two bites tarts and cakes which looked SUPERYUMMY, but I didn’t try any. They also have some sands too. I REALLY wanted the ice cream waffles with fruit too but I had already had lunch. boo, boo. And they had honey brick toast. Dang I will have to come back. I already knew I was going to get the waffle fish and have them filled with custard. You can also get them filled with red bean paste and they come in orders of 8 and 16. So I got 8 of course I was one person. They had several different teas, coffee and milk teas so I got a oolong milk tea with boba. And I topped everything off with a green tea mac cookies sand. You can choose from about 7 or 8 different colors of macs but they are not flavored that I could taste. So I picked the yellow not to be confused with lemon. They gave me a little buzzer so when my order was up it went off and I went to retrieve my food. I decided to sit up stairs at one of the two person tables so I could look over the side at the entire café. SUPERRELAXING! It is decorated so simply but REALLYNICE! The green tea was ok. REALLYSTORNG and the mac was soft but didn’t have any flavor. I wish they would have had some sort of flavor to match the colors like I’m used to but it was still GOOD! The LOVED the WARM, SOFT waffle fish stuffed with custard. I had had this once before in China in K-Town in Beijing, but that was like 15 years ago and it was from a street vendor. I could totally eat that again… like all day everyday and twice on Sunday’s. SOOOGOOD! I really enjoyed everything and I would totally go back for more. The service was EXCELLENT and SUPERFRIENDLY! It’s pretty interesting to see a Korean person with a southern Texan accent. But I guess it was also funny to them to hear me say hello and thank you in Korean. See even black people can have a little SEOUL. Get it? hahahah!

This place is huge, we loved the décor and the environment of this place. we enjoy going to these Korean bakeries /coffee house, this is probably one of our most favorite place now. We had the following: — Honey Butter Toast — delicious, warm and buttery, what can go wrong? — Coffee Lover Waffle — the waffle is delicious, the ice cream and the fruits and top of a crisp waffle, yum Can’t wait to go back.

This spacious two-story café has potential to be 4-stars. But something just seems to be off. My friend and I ordered the Matcha green tea waffle and few desserts. Matcha green tea waffle(2⁄5): The waffle itself had a hint of green tea. We were disappointed when we tried the ice cream which had an odd artificial green color. The ice cream didn’t taste like anything(which was really weird to us). Eating the waffle with the toppings was good but it didn’t feel complete because the ice cream sucked. *Ice cream probably didn’t taste right due to the Blue bell ice cream recall(meaning they used some bootleg ice cream). Tiramisu mini cake(4⁄5): The mini tiramisu was $ 1 each. Really cute dessert topped with coffee bean. I enjoyed this dessert but it had a really thick consistency. The cream was thick and heavy. Mini cream tart(4⁄5): These tiny tarts were nice but the cream on the tart wasn’t creamy at all. The mini tarts were pretty cheap $ 0.75 each. Overall, it’s a nice café and a great place for students to study and also hangout with their friends.

This place has so much potential. It’s a great date night place, catch up place and dessert place but they’ve missed the mark in service and quality in their offerings. All the smoothies are made from a powder and the waffles tasted burnt and were hard. We also ordered the waffle fish filled red bean and custard and after 20 minutes, we went to the cashier and they forgot or didn’t have our order yet we received a buzzer. They also didn’t have enough buzzers so we received our waffle really late and weren’t really notified it was ready. The waffle fish presentation was really sad. The red bean filling was barely in the breading and we got some waffles that were even torn apart. The red bean and fruit shaved ice was just average. If you want to sub the vanilla ice cream for green tea, they charge. The green tea ice cream is really strong. It tastes very artificial. The only things that were enjoyable were the ice cream macaron sandwiches. They should make the macarons larger instead especially if they’re going to charge almost $ 5 each. Overall overpriced, terrible and extremely slow service and the bathrooms were filthy.

Great friendly Staff, creative atmosphere, delicious desserts. The five of us split a strawberry cheesecake and coffee lovers, as well as an 8pc mini fish, custard filled waffles. Completely Gone. Not a single complaint. Everything was amazing. The waffles were flavorful, the ice cream and the fruit tastes fresh. We will definitely come back here when we visit the area.

It’s been a while since my last visit this place. Came back today with my friends because we have no idea where to go. We ordered the mini tarts and blueberry cheesecake ice shaved! Of course how the food here is, so I didn’t expect it get any better. As I said, there is no improvement shown in this place, so 2 stars is still 2 stars

It’s a good place for hangout and study but there isn’t anything special about their desserts/drinks. I’ve tried several items here include: different type of drinks, greentea waffle and chocolate waffle, buttered toast, ice cream macarons, and their patbingsu. Overall, I wasn’t impressed with anything. The drinks were never made right, macarons and patbingsu were bland, the only decent thing is the greentea waffle(minus the old fruits).

Cute place! They serve macaron ice cream sandwich, for now the macaron part is all 1 flavor but you can choose the color you want, than you choose an ice cream flavor. Delicious! Matcha green tea waffles. Great quality waffle, lots of fruits, but green tea ice cream is a little bitter from others. Honey toast, huge! Order of you have plenty of people to share. Sweet but could be sweeter.

This place is very cute! It’s a great place to hangout and catch up with friends or a dessert place after a date. It’s also really big and they have an upstairs area that is a little more private. I had the green tea waffles, which has waffles, fruit, red bean, and two scoops of ice cream. I thought it was the green tea that made the waffles green tea, but the dough of the waffles are also green tea. The waffles are crispy and flaky to the perfect level. Make sure you eat everything together, and it will be amazing. These are not your average waffles that come out of the waffle maker, they are perfectly crispy to perfection.
