Chili’s Grill & Bar

Wanted to try this place out because it’s close to home. Started with the triple dipper and got the crispy crispers, eggrolls, and cheese bites. The crispy chicken tenders were overcooked and chewy but those cheese bites were nummy. I got the chicken cajun pasta which was cooked perfectly and we ended it with the skillet cookie and ice cream. Loved it because the skillet is actually hot! Some place bring it out just for show but the skillet would be cold as the ice cream. Overall… A very tasty experience.

We used to go here all the time. Haven’t been in over a year because the service and food were awful! Decided to go again and we were hopeful that they had gotten it together. It’s been a year for Gods sake! Well. Nope in fact worse! We sat for an hour and a half, no food! Had my 5 year old nephew with us, he was starving! Told the manager that we had sat through two table changes of people and still hadn’t received our order, then once we did it all came at once salad and all !! Then it was cold! Manager was told about it., what she does just gives us 50% off! Then it takes another 35 mins to get us our tickets n that’s not correct either! Needless to say that’s it! Done! Stick a fork in me! Done! Chilis needs to really get it together! It wasn’t just this location it’s the new The Colony and Frisco locations as well! Customer service is out the window and they don’t seem to care either way! Ugh!

It makes me sad that I feel the need to write a bad review but it needs to happen.
Where to start. Service was friendly but food was horrific. We picked up our to-​go order on the pick up time (like on the dot) I was starving. Got home and the food looked like it was thrown into the box.
I had to re-​cook it bc it was cold and soggy. Meat was dry and brittle. Everything else taste like crap. Freakin A chilies get it together.

My husband and I went on a busy Saturday night. The service was just ok which was expected for a busy night. The food was meh. Didn’t taste very fresh. Overall, just ok.

I bring my employees here 2x a week for lunch for 5 years now. The service the past 2 months sucks. Servers are rude and act like they don’t want to serve customers. I worked for Brinker years ago and this definitely is not how I remember. Me and my employees will not be back and will gladly take our business elsewhere… pretty sad…

when i first walked in we were seated at a regular tables because they had no clean booths. we were fine to sit at a regular table. the server was nice but it seemed they gave her a lot of tables all at once. she was always running back and fourth because she had too many tables to attend to. she was so busy she didn’t have time to check to see if we needed anything else but that is ok. we didn’t need anything else but it’s nice for them to ask. she barely said anything to us because she was so busy. i have her a nice tip (almost 50%) because she works really hard. they make the servers clean their own table and that slows them down. i think they should hire bussers because it makes people get seated faster.
the food here is really good and they have so many options to choose from. i got the ranchero tacos and they were the best tacos i have ever had. overall this is a good restaurant but it has so things to work on.

Gross and slow are not a good combo. This Chili’s has gone down hill. The food is not good. And the waitstaff and hostess are kinda rude and very slow.

I have been going to Chili’s in Carrollton off of Trinity and Josey for about 15 years now. I’ve never been one to complain or even write a review.
On the evening of June 18, 2015, I had the worst experience of my life. I felt offended, threatened and so frightened for my life. Towards the end of my dinner with my significant other and my younger sister, my boyfriend simply asked the «manager» Amber Atkins, if she could explain our bill since we were being charged for the replacement of the ancho salmon that had a hair stuck in the middle. My boyfriend explained we didn’t want a free meal, simply wanted an explanation on the policy.
Amber Watkins, snatched the bill out of my boyfriend’s hand, rolled her eyes, sighed very loud and said, «fine I will take it off the bill». The waiters were polite enough to come to our table and ask if everything was ok. As we explained the situation to them that we did not appreciate her attitude, Amber walked to a customer behind us at the bar and whispered something to him, Amber walked away and a few seconds later the same customer Amber spoke to comes over to our table and asks my boyfriend, «well did you fu***** eat the salmon?» My boyfriend asked him who was he talking to? The customer proceeded to say, «you b****!» My boyfriend got up to face him and I stood in the middle of them to stop them from fighting.
I said the same thing he said to my boyfriend so that he could get a taste of his own medicine. I know it was wrong of my part but I was so upset. Amber was beyond unprofessional while instigating a fight between customers, creating a very unsafe environment.
Also, she kept walking back and forth by our table, one time bumping into the waitress that was speaking to us about the problem. Amber was very aggressive also when I called that same night to obtain another managers name.

The service here is absolutely horrible! I have been numerous of times thinking it will get better, but no. The food is mediocre and expensive for what you get. Use this place as a last resort.

No wonder this place gets one star! Filthy, service slow, understaffed, hostess abrasive and too busy hanging with friends at bar. Last time we will waste $$ here

Extremely poor service. Food was disgusting! Restaurant dirty and bathroom had ants all over it! Will not return to this place. A real shame to the Chilis name!

This location just doesnt get it! I wonder why more people dont get sick eating here. If they are, they are not reporting it! They just dont keep the menus, tables, and other table items clean between guests. I was handed a menu the other day, and it had dried salsa all over it. They also recently added a device that you can play games, order menu items, etc. They dont clean these between guests either. There were two kids and a mom at a table, the kid were touching the screen all over the place. They left, and the person busing the table didnt even bother to wipe them down. I reported this in my survey, and they have done nothing about it. I guess the next time I go, I will wear rubber gloves, then make them change my menu and flatware out several times hoping that they get the hint! LOL

Some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. One of our servers was nice. The other was unfriendly at best. 40 minute ticket time. Would not recommend you visit this Chili’s.
