Chicken was bomb. I was a little disappointed they ran out of rice by the time I got there, it would’ve been great with my fried chicken. Otherwise, their flavor packs a punch. It makes the chicken very savory and worth every bite you take. I’ve ordered the cheesy parmesan and the basic fried chicken. Could not go wrong with those two whatsoever. The crisp on their chicken was just right and the flavor balances out very nicely. Other than not being able to eat my fried chicken with rice(Asian style), I was satisfied with my dinner. Worth a stop if you’re ever in the Korean town, Carrollton area.

Whenever I’m in the mood for fried chicken with a hint of asian flavors, this is my go to place. The pricing is reasonable for the food portion, two small portions can make two tummies very happy and full! My boyfriend and I, we usually get the Spicy Gang Jung(small) and the Green Onion Chicken(they only offer this in medium or larger). I LOVE the sauce that comes with the Green Onion Chicken, it’s sweet with a hint of wasabi. I would dip everything in it if I could! I didn’t think the Spicy Gang Jung was that spicy but I eat pretty spicy food so it might be different for others. The atmosphere here makes me feel like I’m in a Korean drama, perhaps due to the Kpop music they play. It’s never super busy when I go which is kind of nice because I get to pig out with little chance of being judged. Overall, good place for laid back dinner or date!

Food: 7⁄10 Service: N/A(Takeouts) Value: 4⁄10(Pricey chickens) Ambience: 6⁄10(Seems clean but lots of awkward stares from the cooks) A tad overpriced for what you get in my humble opinion(no poverty). The place was well decorated but gives you a fast food joint type of atmosphere rather than a restaurant. We ordered medium garlic, crazy spicy, and green onion and all 3 types of salad. The best of the 3 was green onion for sure. –Green onions = Gives you the natural kick from the onion while the thick and sweet soy/wasabi sauce soothe your palate. –Super spicy = Sweet Thai chili sauce with added sugar. Not spicy at all. –Garlic = sweet and garlicky. Not bad but nothing to write home about. –House salad = Forget about it. It’s just your typical veggies and salad dressing. –Coleslaw = Taste almost exactly like KFC coleslaw, which is a plus for me. –Corn salad = Coleslaw with corn added, no complaint here. I had to warm them up because I was waiting to eat together with my girlfriend, so I’d imagine they’d taste a lot better fresh. Not a bad first Korean chicken experience overall. Check this place out of you’re craving some Asian-flavoured chickens.

Do not ever go here. You will get addicted and there is not yet a effective 12-Step program to quit. Our friends tried an intervention, but now they’re addicted, too. Oh. Oh dear. I just placed another on-line order. Please send help… and napkins.

Ate here twice in a span of 7 days. Yes, the chicken was THAT good! We basically ordered every flavor there(group of 10, with 6 hungry/growing teens). My personal favorite(for the non-spicy lovers) «original ganjung». My next second favorite was the«soy chicken». We also ordered«green onion», which comes with a dipping sauce that is AMAZING! Both times I went, I saw them shredding the onions via some device. For those who LOVE spicy, I’d recommend the«crazy spicy» and«redpepper», which happens to be sweet and spicy. The interior is decorated really cutely! Everything is basically self-serviced. Order at counter, pick up food, grab your utensils, throw your trash away, get your own water, napkins & plates at counter/table. ONEHUGE complaint is that the floors ARESODARNSTICKY/SLIPPERY. HOW you ask… I have NO clue! Every time I visit, i had to walk slowly and carefully throughout the restaurant. You can slip, yet you leave«shoe prints» everywhere… Boys own the establishment… so maybe it’s because they can’t clean well…

WOW — OURNEWKOREANADDICTION! We are southerners and who knew all these years that there is SOMUCHMORE to fried chicken(Sorry Mamaw and no offense). The fried chicken here comes 2 ways: bone in or boneless. We tried the boneless today, and we’re very pleasantly surprised with tender and moist thick chunks of pure white breast meat, fried to perfect crispyness with no grease. This chicken was so tender and moist you could see the juices in in when you took a bite. DELICIOUS! We tried three flavors of chicken: Parmesan herb, scallion, and dduck bbokee chicken. Each was delicious in its own way, but by far the most exotic was the dduck bbokee. This dish comes in a special dduck bbokee sauce usually served over rice cakes. Here it is tossed won’t fried chicken, a few of the chewy ride cake batons and some seaweed-wrapped cellophane noodles that are also fried to salty crispy goodness! The dduck bbokee sauce is a mildly spicy, just enough to ping you a little on the tongue. DELICIOUS! Scallion chicken was beautifully presented under a heap of shredded fresh scallions, with two ramekins of a sweet soy-wasabi dipping sauce. The wasabi was evident but not overpowering — LOVEDIT! Parmesan herb is one of their most popular flavors and now we understand why! No spice heat at all makes a perfect bite for folks who are wary of Korean heat. Once again, the chicken was perfectly fried, moist, tender, and greaseless. This time the chicken was tossed in a mix of Parmesan cheese powder and dried parsley. I was not sure I would like this at all when my daughter got it, but it was not as salty as I had expected. Although I am not usually a fan of powdered cheese, I found myself continually taking another piece. So this one is DELECTABLE too! Sides of rice, slaw, and corn salad were freshly made and nice accompaniments to the meal. We’ll be back!

I went to this place on a whim. I went to the 7⁄11 next door to grab a drink, and figured I might as well grab something to eat for the pregnant wife back at home. I noticed this place next door on the way out, and figured I’d at least go in and check it out. Just to grab a menu or something. The interior is nice and cozy. The layout and style reminds me of the sort of restaurants you see in South Korean movies, not surprising as it is Korean owned and operated. The staff is predominately Korean, I presume. They were all very friendly and helpful, happily answering any of my questions. I got my wife the boneless chicken with the spiciest sauce. My expectations were pretty low, being as not only was this place completely new to me, I just didn’t know what to expect from what I thought was an Asian-style fried chicken joint. It turns out the place is more similar to a buffalo wing joint. The chicken was amazing. I ate all of my wife’s leftovers. We’ve gone back on multiple occasions now. Some notes: The spicy is actually spicy. Not American spicy. It’s genuinely hot. For chili heads like me, it’s just right. Not so hot it’s a chore to eat, but it gives a pleasant burn. If you like spicy food and you like chicken, you’re going to love this place. I got the spiciest option for my wife our first time there, which was a bit more than she likes. She goes with the medium option for the most part now. Give it a shot. It looks like it has been getting more popular lately.

WOOOOOOOWWWWW this place has it all; cute interior+good location+great flavors/taste+low prices+fast cooking time. you can pick a ‘size’ of wings(my bf and I ate two mediums, but we also eat more than most lol) and for each order you pick one type of chicken(wings/tenders) and you pick one sauce. we chose the wings in the ddukbogi sauce and tenders in the soy garlic sauce. i could not believe how happy i was. the ddukbogi sauce was mildly spicy with chewy little rice cakes dumped on top of our fried chicken, and it also included a seaweed-wrapped vermicelli bite(no clue what this is called, but good). the soy garlic was also very good, and the tenders themselves were perfect. not your average tender! they’re kinda more like white-meat bundles(idk how better to describe this) with the grain going in different directions in each bite so it was so much more fun to eat and resembled a bigger boneless wing. one medium with tax was about $ 15 and could probably easily feed two people looking for a meal(if they ordered an extra side of rice) and i think i counted around 20 wings in one portion. what a steal. and both orders only came out in 15 minutes! most other places take forever; idk if they take a shortcut or anything but i don’t notice it and the time spent eating rather than waiting is much appreciated. another awesome thing is that despite their open kitchen behind the counter, the place doesnt reek of fried chicken! and they’ve got cutely decorated bathrooms, and water and trash is self serve. can’t believe i tried bonchon before this place. come here for the best korean fried chicken!

Was craving some good chicken and so glad I stopped by this place. It was hard to find a place open during Christmas but I’m glad this place was. The chicken was authentic Korean fried chicken, and it tasted amazing. The chicken was so tender and cooked to a delicious crisp. I got the boneless green onion chicken, recommended by the manager there. It tasted amazing. The place itself was very cute and well decorated. It’s no wonder they have so many great reviews, this place was the best chicken I’ve had in a long time. Definitely recommend everyone to come to this place, you won’t regret it. Edit* 12÷26÷15 Tried the cheesy garlic wings and they were even more delicious. My new favorite. Had to come back the next day. Also, I’ve been reading a lot of comments with 3 stars. Most of them say the taste was great, the service was awesome, but 2 stars knocked off because of «stickiness»?? LOL. I think that’s a little harsh. Go to Austin and try some of the famous & amazing eateries there. But I’m sure you wouldn’t be able to deal with it if you can’t deal with the wittle bit of «stickiness» here… To each their own, I respect everyone’s opinion. I just think this place doesn’t deserve anything less than a 4 star IMO

Chicken here always tastes so fresh and flavorful! By far one of my favorite Korean chicken houses in the dfw area. I will definitely keep coming, if not for the great food for the great customer service!

Got a small order of crazy spicy chicken! It was not enough! Enough for me only. But not enough to share. It comes with some pickled sides. a water cooler there for your free usage.

I’ll start with this — there is not a lot of English on the menu. This is really authentic Asian food — not American style. The chicken I ended up getting was really really good„ I was literally licking the sauce off my fingers when I finished my chicken. The owner guy was trying his best to help me figure out what to order, but it’s just so authentic I was clueless. Not a place I really see myself frequenting often if for no other reason than fried chicken isn’t the healthiest thing to eat all the time.

Finally had an opportunity to try this place for lunch. I opted for the Gang Jung wings with corn salad side because I didn’t want to risk something too spicy. The sauce was much sweeter than I had anticipated, but it came as advertised with a touch of cinnamon. Next time I’ll definitely go with a spicier option. The chicken itself was perfectly cooked with crispy skin and juicy meat, but the meat had no flavor on its own, relying solely on the sauce. The portion was quite generous with 7 large wings. The corn salad deserves the popular comments in other reviews and complements the chicken well. Service was friendly, but I feel compelled to repeat the comments from others regarding the sticky floor! I have to believe they try to clean it, as the fake wood flooring was warped and curling from repeated mopping. I’d like to try some other flavors, so I’ll likely be back.

While I love the bone-in soy chicken here, I feel like the sides leave something to desire and the restaurant itself feels overall very… sticky? The only side I like is the pickled daikon. So there’re two stars off from me. OTHERWISE, the taste is great and I like taking it home to eat. :) The people are super friendly and excited about serving you chicken. I’m still looking for something to rival my bonchon back in NYC, but this will do for now.

Great choice for wings. Chose size of meal, bone in or not, flavor and choice of side. I’m a bone in, crazy spicy fan which has a nice but not too powerful kick mixed with a sweet side. Really nice people. $ 2 off during lunch time.

Came here with a few friends because we was craving for some Korean fried chicken. The ambience is nice, everything looks clean, and the workers were helpful. We tried the following: — Soy Chicken — this was really delicious, went really well with the pickled daikon — Greenonion chicken — we thought this was only mediocre, not as good as the soy chicken I would probably be back for the soy chicken.

This place was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. This was actually my first experience of Korean fried chicken so I didn’t know what to expect. I ordered the crazy spicy chicken and it was delicious. The spice was just right and not overbearing like some wing sauces are. The chicken is made to order so it was fresh and very crispy. I ordered the small lunch special and it was just $ 6.99 and came with 1 side. The man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful with my order. Will definiately be back.

Good flavors and crispy wings. Can order either wings, chicken breast tenders or whole chicken. Fast service and the cashier gives helpful advice to anyone visiting for the first time. I got a small order of wings, which comes with a side and one flavor. There were around 10 wings wrapped in sauce. They are well fried although are on the smaller side compared to Pluckers. The spicy gung jung is a good flavor if you can handle at least medium level heat. Not a pretty place to go for a date or sport watching party(no TVs), but if you want to sit in a cute restaurant while nomming on some spicy wings this is the place for you.

First time here I was so impressed. This little cute Korean chicken café serves only fried chicken wings with different flavors, yet their chicken got very good flavors and crispy. I had soy sauce flavored wings which were really tasty. My friend had spicy Gangjung. It came with Ddok Bok Gi I loved that. It wasn’t too spicy and got brown sugar and honey flavor. Every dish you will get one side dish, rice, salad, celery, etc. I took one star out because I’m a big fan of saucy chicken. I wish they could put more sauce over chicken wings, that would be AWESOME!!! Service is very outstanding. Staffs are friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back.

I walked in and was instantly greeted by both workers. When I told them it was my first time to visit, they were both extremely helpful and helping me find something that I would like. I ordered the wings(bone-in) with the crazy spicy sauce and a side of corn salad. He also told me about their reward system. I am such a sucker for reward systems. :P The corn salad was nice because it wasn’t too creamy or mayonnaise-y but fresh and still crunchy. I do wish rice would come standard and part of the meal. I hate choosing between rice and anything. Luckily for me, I still had some left over from my lunch. I also really like their pickled radish. It’s the perfect crunchy and sour addition that is much needed for the salty and spicy chicken. I am definitely coming back to try some more flavors.
