We have frequented this IHOP for years and it has always been pretty good. Today was just horrible! The hostess folks were confused and rude. Seating was not in arrival order. Our server was decent and the food was okay except the crepes were off. Told her about the crepes and she didn’t seem to care. We won’t be back.

My goto IHOP, service is usually okay and food is decent. This location is located in the middle of the hmart complex, and because it’s surrounded by so many other restruants tends to be on the less busy side. With that said there is a post clubbing crowd occasionally that hits up around 2 – 3AM(i’ve been guilty of this). My favorite items on the menu include the lingonberry crepes, cupcake pancakes, and I usually pair those with some eggs, hash browns, and bacon strips.

Everytime it is BAD service! When I first get there people walk by me like I don’t exist. They just look LAZY. EVERYTIME I order carry out there is something wrong with my order. Once there was no pancakes after Jon said let me make sure everthing is in the bag. Another time I got red velvet pancakes in stead of red velvet creps. The same time I got 2 sausages when I ordered 4. That SAME day I got chicken soup when I ordered potato soup. Like come on really? So many mistakes in one order. Just got tired of it. Prefer to drive farther for better service. I only want what I asked for and paid for. Nothing more. I once went with a only english speaking friend. The waiter could not take his order because he could not understand him, I had to translate to spanish! That is poor management! Why put an only spanish speaking person to service table??? He does not know English! Only getting 2 stars because the food is good. But really deserve 1!

The food was good, but the service was terrible! We had to wait half an hour for our food to come out. That’s never happened before. And our waiter talked a mile a minute. I couldn’t understand a word he said.

I was so disappointed when we came here yesterday. It was National pancake Day and on my way home from the doctor, we decided to stop here. I assumed the line would be ridiculous and we would have an extremely long wait… To my surprise, there wasn’t a long wait at all. There were 2 guys from an organization raising money for the hospital who directed us to sign in. We donated while waiting to sign in. After signing in, our wait was only about 10 mins. Once we were seated, we waited and waited and waited!!! Not one person came to bring us water, take our order(we wanted more than free pancakes) or even acknowledge us. The hostess and a few servers passed us server times and just looked at us. Finally after 45 minutes a server brought pancakes to the table, then realized it was for the wrong table. We told her no one had helped us and asked if we could place an order, but she said she would get someone… No one ever showed up. It would have been ok if everyone had to wait as I understand it was a busy day, but serveral tables had their orders taken and food brought to them while we waited. I finally had enough and decided to leave. My boys were sad because they were really looking forward to pancakes, but I would not spend a penny in a place that didn’t even check on us once. Very poor customer service!!!

I’ve been to this location a couple of times but this last visit was outstanding. The customer service is on point, the employees had a happy helpful vibe going on. I was never really impressed with this location in the past but this visit has changed that. I will be returning very soon. Irma P was our waitress and she took great care of us.

I came here the other day because I had a coupon and pancakes sounded good. Bad idea. Upon walking in we were greeted with an unwelcoming stench that unfortunately carried throughout the entire establishment. Perhaps that was in place of an actual greeting from an actual employee as they were all chit chatting, and it was a while before we were acknowledged. On top of that, this place is in major need of an update. Everything looks, feels, and smells old. Our food came out in a timely manner, but we had to send back the raw hash browns. They came back covered in grease– no thanks. The blueberry pancakes would’ve been better if they weren’t so soggy from the heavy-handed serving of blueberries on top. Also the pancakes were really tough. The low quality food combined with the awful service we received are the reason for this lovely one-star rating.

Tried this place for dinner… Mistake # 1. Had the turkey dinner… Mistake #2. Sent it back as I could not eat it. Tasted foul. Thought they would actually care… Mistake #3. Won’t be back.

I went with 3 because it is 0616 on a Sunday. I feel that it is not fair to give 5 because it is slow so there is nothing to review as for food and service. However, it is okay. The hostess and waitress has been great. The eggs were good. Hashbrowns were okay. Coffee is good as well. The chicken fried steak is okay. Way too much pepper in the breading for me. Pancakes are burnt on the outside therefore not soft and fluffy at all.

Worst customer service ever– not on the waiter/waitresses’ part but on the managers’ part. I called in at 5:00 one morning to let the managers know that a party of 40 would be there by 7:30 or 8, but when we pulled up the two managers were waiting outside SMOKING. The managers claimed that I told them we’d be there by 9 when CLEARLY I said 7:30 or 8 and so they basically refused to serve us or prepare our tables. They made no effort to invite us in or get us seated so we walked in ourselves and set all the chairs and tables together. I will never be coming to this location again.

Have you been to other IHOPS? Awesome, so you know the cookie-cutter menu, and we don’t need to go over it. If you haven’t been to other IHOPS… you need to get out more often, although you can skip most IHOPS. IHOPS offer affordable breakfast food, cooked a degree higher than fastfood and in a dinner setting. This particular location of the franchise has very very attentive staff, in our experience. My family has eaten there about 20 – 30 times. The managers are very approachable, and the staff tries very hard to please, so give them a break. My problem is that whenever I go there, my sensitive stomach ends up sending me to the bathroom pretty quick. That is not to be read like they food poison you, or they have bad food. I surmise that one may question the freshness of the products or the cleanliness of the kitchen, because to me(and I have a SENSITIVE stomach, keep that in mind) they serve as a quick way of going to the bathroom. Also, the place does look dated and a bit long on the tooth. You can find dirty spots on every wall, and the ceiling tiles are the pits. Makes me wonder what kind of stuff is falling on top of my plate while I eat. But the service is excellent for an cookie cutter menu.

I like this location. But the other day our waiter was a mess. Our waiter’s name was Christia/Christian or something– he had bleached the top of his hair. We come in, we’re seated quickly, it was only us and a large party in the store from the looks of it, and he asked our drinks and food, but we weren’t sure so we started with water and a kids drink. He brought that to us after an average wait time– 5 or so minutes. However, one of us was in the restroom. When he came back, asked us what we would like and we said, again, we needed more time to decide. When he came back after about 15 minutes of waiting– 10 of which we had been ready for– I asked him how he liked the special blueberry and lemonade pancakes. I wish I could convey tone through this– because– in literally the most insincere voice I’ve ever heard–«They’re, like, good». I looked at himfunny– because he obviously didn’t know or didn’t believe his statement– and asked about the banana pudding pancakes. He sighed and said again in the same voice«They’re really good, you’ll like them.» After coming to the conclusion that I wasn’t going to get a straight answer out of this kid, we ordered and I asked for a different color crayon for my child and a Splashberry with a side of toast out first because we were hungry– and we told him as much. So, after about 15 more minutes he comes back with my drink and proceeds to explain that they have no other colors than«Spinach Green”-might I mention one of their children’s games requires 2 different colors(my daughter was not very happy about this development) — and he apologizes for the long wait saying he was looking for it, which I might have believed, if his phone hadn’t been going off in his apron. Super. My drink tastes weird. Like he didn’t make it right, and it never gets refilled, or even asked if I would like it refilled. I guess I wouldn’t want another weird tasting Splashberry anyway. Our out first toast doesn’t come out either, but what does come out is our food– but not our kids food. What? So now I have a hungry child waiting on food while our food gets cold, a grouchy daddy because his toast never came out, and no Splashberry to hide my vodka in to deal with the situation.(Kidding!) Eventually the mac and cheese and toast comes and we eat. Our waiter is clearly to busy for us– his phone is going off again– and doesn’t return until all the food is gone and we’ve stacked our plates and our drinks-waters and all– are completely empty.Super. He gives us the wrong check and walks away to chat with another employee. We try to catch his attention, to no avail. We do manage to catch the other waiter’s attention and we get our correct check. About the time I’m wondering if the other waiter is better than ours, we decide on an agreed tip– typically I prefer to leave 25−30% if my waiter is decent, but we’re super irritated and agree to 5 on 30 with a quick comment about providing better customer service in the margins of the ticket. Well, we go to pay and he checks us out. About the time we’re writing our ticket, another couple walks in and our waiter tells them he’ll be right with them-after he punches in his tip of course. So he waits for us– and the other couple waits for us and we forget about writing in the margins and risking a scene and mentally nod on writing this Unilocal review. You can do better than this IHOP.

Waitress was great, However the restaurant was very dirty. There were several tables left with food all over with plates. The floors had food on them. The restroom were a mess and smelled like urine. There was urine in the floor.

We decided to try this location since it was closest to where we live, and we had been to others including the one near Stonebrier Mall, all of which were rather so-so. This one, on the other hand, surprised us with the quality of service and the food. Regarding the coffee, which is usually very weak, all we had to do was ask for«extra strong» coffee, and that was exactly what we got(in other words, just right). The colorful menu had many new features, and I tried one, the caramel streusel french toast, which was sweet and tasty. We were attended to and served promptly, and food was delivered hot and cooked to perfection. The restaurant was very clean and tidy, and the prices were economical. Nothing to complain about here. We are adding this IHOP location to our list of favored breakfast joints.

Why is it every iHop location, their duration period to get food is such a long wait? I decided this morning to choose an alternative breakfast from my usual fast-food(wanted to go more wholesome). So I decided iHop. I came in, got helped and was told that it’d be an approx. 7 min. They were doing catering for 40 people that morning, setting up tables and what not. It was a pretty steady morning though but nothing that you couldnt keep up with(people hadnt shown up yet) My approx 7 min wait ended up being almost 35 mins(I placed a to-go order because I had TOGO to work). No syrup was in my bag or napkins or utensils(he asked if I needed utensils & said No but bo syrup, really? shouldnt that be a given?) Ive been to 3 iHop locations and they’re all the same wither I dine in or not(was my first time doing carryout). I need to speak to corporate, these durations are ridiculous. Im a patient and understanding person but all days expect one they were slow enough to not wait half an hour just for packaged frozen food.

My wife and I stopped in for a very late night meal after seeing a comedy concert Gabriel Iglesias in Grand Prairie. The staff was great and we chatted with our server about the concert as he was a Fluffy fan as well. The food was quickly delivered hot and fresh. The orders were made correctly and our server kept up with our refills. Overall a great experience.

I’m writing a old review from August 2006. Me and my two sisters came to this ihop on a slow day in the morning. The hostess gave us a booth and said the sever will be right with us. When our sever came by she took our drink orders. I got chocolate milk, and my two sisters got coffee. We still needed more time to look at the menu so we told the sever we are not ready to order yet. 5 minutes later we were ready to order but we couldn’t find our server. We waited a total of 30 minutes with no service. Me and my sisters were mad and we just left. I guess since we were teenagers at the time we didn’t get serviced. I was 15 at the time and my sisters were 18 and 19. We looked like middle schoolers but we weren’t middle schoolers. I haven’t been back to this ihop since August of 2006(9 years). I would recommend this place if you aren’t with a group of teenagers.

Have to say this is one of the worst I have been too… Asked for basted eggs since they don’t poach… And my plate came back to me 3x with a fried egg. And the first time the waitress said it was a basted egg. Then next 2x the manager said it was. How do you not know the difference between the two. Then he ended up poaching my egg and they would have been better to give me a hard boiled egg. Hate the buttered toast… Reminds me of the self serve butter dispenser at the movies. Have to say this my waitress was good. But then had to stand in a line of 6 people to, pay my bill… Love IHOP. Just no this one… You can pass and eat at the other fine restaurants… Around it.
